Had it for many years. Tried to "upgrade" to new hardware which was a disaster. No signal in my area, and tech support also stated I would not have any signal in wooded areas. REALLY, I have to tell dog not to get lost in the park! DO NOT UPGRADE, Whistle not made for Android and not for non-ATT users.
Won't support older devices and refuse to take my personal information out of their database.

I have had this tracker for about 4 years and it has not changed at all! Makes me think you only have 3 programmers that only think about future costumers than the ones they have. I will not update my tracker, I will go somewhere else!
HORRIBLE DEVICE AND COMPANY!!!! DO NOT BUY!!! WORKED POORLY FOR A WEEK THEN CRAPPED OUT.
The tracker itself works well but the app is clunky and impossible to manage devices and pets. I shouldn't have to call customer service to remove a pet from the profile or to associate a new device.
I'm very disappointed in this app and device I'm trying to locate my dog right now and I can't believe I have been paying $10 a month for the last year for something that doesn't even work right thanks whistle
Always having a problem syncing the devices. Doesn't hold a charge anymore.
Always idle trying to locate. Very unreliable. Yep. Tagg was way more reliable.
Don't buy if u did return it worked great for a few weeks then stopped locating won't hold a charge new one they sent me is the same way
Fantastic app! My dog got out and I was out of state and that device notified me! I was able to call my friend and ask her to get my pup! Fantastic! Without this app he would have been out all night!
Subscription plan makes this useless, fitbit does not have a subscription why should my dogs activity tracker cost $100 a year? What a joke.

It's ok not the best
I feel deceived because you don't know that there is a mobthly/annual subscription plan that the customer MUST purchase before you are able to use the device. Also, I was not able to zone in the whistle parameters to just my yard. It's proximity is too large. I will be returning the device to Best Buy
Works well, but it's annoying that to get notified of the dog escaping also requires getting notified of trivial events like exercise reports. I only want notifications for important events.
Fantastic device and application. It has returned my dog home on multiple occasions. I always know where he is. I highly recommend. Way worth the initial cost and monthly fees!
Please update this app for Android. With the Whistle 3 coming out this app feels clunky and buggy.

the device when working properly, is great. It didnt take long for it to stop working properly. Then, customer srvice did everything in their power to not admit that the device wss defective. After hey finally replaced it, it worked. Then, it stopped notifying me when my dog left the safe zone.
