White Noise & Deep Sleep Sounds - Fan & Baby Sleep

The sounds are great and really help me sleep. Love the variety and mix feature, I even bought a year sub. Took a star off because it will randomly stop playing, sometimes multiple times in a row. I've tried fixing it by messing with my app settings, including power saving etc, and it still does it. Very jarring to have it suddenly stop if you're almost asleep.

Have had this app a very long time as I need the air filter noise to sleep. I love it however everything I have tried that a person here that commented on my previous review that I have since deleted to write this had suggested will not fix the problem. Have noise running in background and it keeps turning off when I open a website on my phone. It is last annoying. It used to never do this now it does it ALL OF THE TIME. I really miss the way it used to work flawlessly.

I used to love this app, but the addition of ads which cause the noise to cut out in the middle of the night is incredibly frustrating. Going from a constant noise to suddenly nothing is enough to wake you up with a fright if you're only just drifting off. I'll be looking to another app

Edit. That would be a useful response if I had a Samsung! It's a garbage app. Don't pretend you didn't design it like that to elicit a payment to make the ads stop.............. How ffffing useless is this. Notifications of ads stop the app soon after you start it. Just to try and make you purchase it. I got maybe 15 minutes. And most of its locked anyway. Do yourself a favour and skip this one.

I used to love this app, but like others have said, the adverts have just ruined it. It glitches a lot and cuts off now. You can't open it with out it automatically making you click on an advert and I've seen suggestions to put it in aeroplane mode whilst it's on but I don't want to be uncontactable incase of emergency just to stop the app glitching over intrusive ads. It's a shame as well because the womb noise is much better than any others I've been able to find.

Recently after some time being played, the volume automatically drops down a few bars, waking my sleeping baby?! Going to uninstall and find a new one! And also there's been too many ads recently too, really frustrating because it was a decent app!

I love the idea because I can play sounds without ads, which I have to have almost every night to fall asleep. But it ends up causing me more stress because it doesn't work most of the time for my android.

Been using this app for several years. They have made the ads very obtrusive, stopping you from accessing sounds until you spend time looking over an ad. Also very often just stops working and wakes me up in the night for no reason. The sounds are nice but they've made things annoying and disruptive which really doesn't put me in any mood to buy an unlocked version.

Really liked it until it started interrupting my sleep with ads to open more content, using louder sounds. Do that at the beginning, and take "no thanks" as an answer. Also I'd pay to open more content, but monthly subscriptions are a no go for me.

I love how they have the option of watching an ad versus having to pay for listening to all sounds. It had helped me sleep more deeply and I wake up feeling refreshed

Been a user for a few years now. Same as everyone else. It's gotten useless and keeps closing because of ads.

Update: this app has been great I have been listening to a wonderful soundscape on Pocket casts and it is from the same people that do this app. I came here because I was hoping to get it to play for longer than 2 hours. However I don't even see any soundscapes and I really can't afford $40 a year but I was able to make myself a decent mix. I have horrible upstairs neighbors and my dogs spook easily. I'm going to try this out for the long run tonight and will change my score accordingly.

It really helps me sleeping, covering my upstairs neighbour's noise. Often, tho, it crashes and the sudden silence awakes me, defying its purpose. Should the issue be fixed I will change the rating to 5 star and buy the ad-free version.

There's a great selection of white noise, and plenty of features on the free version. No time limits etc. Very happy with it. I would pay for the pro version if it wasn't quite so expensive.

Good when it works, but the sound turns itself off randomly and the ads are obnoxious

App did what it's supposed to until they became obnoxious with the ads, sad placement, delayed action to try to trick click ads. Good software does get purchased by many people. Add ridden software never does.

Just right for my needs. Simple, easy to use, basics. You can start and stop any sound within the app, or turn it off by quitting the app. Either way functions well. I have been using it at night and has helped me sleep better. Sound can keep going while I do other things on my phone while getting settled in. It has several nice options, but I just use the basic brown noise option.

Has some interesting sounds like the Fizz, but most of them are only available for a 20€ per year subscription, which I find overpriced. The sounds quality is good. The interface is functional, if not a joy to look at. Works fine offline and in the background, even with the app closed. I'm still debating whether I want to keep it for the free sounds even with having to scroll through all the locked ones. (As I'm not willing to spend 20€ a year on an ambient sound app.)

sounds are decent. the biggest reason I gave 2 stars is because app has no way of closing. pressing your back button may appear to close the app, but an icon remains at the top of the screen, allowing you to use your pulldown menu to resume playing the sound. you have to close it by showing all apps running and then select it individually from all the others. at least put an "x" in the top right corner to close it, or allow the back button to do so.......

Not bad. Simple and clean UI. Sound quality for some sounds isn't very good. A LOT of locked sounds to pay for. Changes the color of my notification bar to a bright blue. This is solely why I'm not using the app. Even in dark mode the blue is annoyingly bright, but more importantly the fact that the app changes the color period, bothers me more. No thanks.

Brilliant App! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a problem with the app stopping during the night, I sent an email to the developers who advised it was most likely to do with the battery optimisation settings on my phone. They sent me a link with useful things to try. I altered a few settings, which was easy enough to do, and now my phone doesn't stop the app during the night. The gentleman who emailed me was very friendly and helpful and their response was swift. Love the app, it helps our baby sleep (and us!). ❤

Could be so much more. App has great white noise sounds that are free. Can run them on loop. However the only way to turn off ads is Subscription (not 1 time) or to turn on airplane mode. So unless you want it running up your data or constantly checking in your WiFi you have to repeat pay or airplane mode. Again, great choice of sounds; bad prices. Suggest download free sounds on your favourite music streaming app and add them to a playlist. No ads No $$ No disappointment.

Since the last update the app doesn't work well at all. Every time I click into a different app whilst white noise is playing, it stops the white noise for a few seconds, this will happen on any app I open. Also, I can no longer stop and pause any noise on my home and lock screen, I now have to physically go back into the app to stop and play noise.

I really like this app. I had to play around with the setting on my phone a little bit - my phone's overly aggressive default battery saving settings sometimes stopped the app, but it was not difficult to sort out and well worth doing so. I use this app to help me relax and reduce anxiety during the day and help me if I can't fall asleep during the night. I like the selection of sounds and their quality.

Edit to my review from last year: there's some sort of issue that causes the white noise that's supposed to play continuously from the app to randomly cut off. I've made sure to exempt the app from my phone's battery saver settings to no avail. Really wish this wasn't an issue as it completely defeats the purpose of using the app.

Amazing white noise on the move. Perfect for little ones when travelling and you dont want to pack their bulky white noise toys. Also perfect for the bigger ones like me that are so used to white noise after years of the little ones having it I now struggle sleeping without it! Great that you can set it to the time you want and easy to turn back on again quickly when you wake up. Highly recommend! Thank you for being a sleep saver on more than one occasion!
