White Noise Free

I used the timer function to trigger a noise mix early in the morning. This worked well to start with, I especially liked how it faded the noise rather than started it abruptly. Unfortunately over the last few months it started to become unreliable and wouldn't trigger. This now happens once or twice a week making the whole experience very frustrating. The available help seemed out of date for my phone and didn't make sense so I emailed the support team but still no reply after a month :(

Let me start by saying, I actually really do like this app. It is invaluable in helping me sleep and relax. Which is why it is so frustrating that this app is plagued by glitches. The sound playback randomly stops or turns off, or the entire app itself crashes and will not load. I have already tried uninstalling/re-installing, clearing the data cache, and re-booting my phone, all to no avail. It's proving to be very unreliable. It would be nice if these issues could be addressed.

I've been using this app for years and loved it. Until recently when it started glitching all the time. I turn it on, get comfortable to sleep and then it cuts off. I turn it back on, sometimes it cuts off again minutes later. I had hoped if I put up with it for a month or so that the kinks would be fixed but nope, so here I am uninstalling.

After a long interval of operating exactly as it should, this app has totally stopped playing scheduled alarms. I've double checked all the settings in both the app and on the device so they're not interfering with each other, but I just can't get alarms to sound any more. The screen reads that an alarm has been set and when it's due to sound, but all I get at the scheduled time is a "Dismiss" button on a silent device.

We use this app to help us fall asleep right? Yes, yes we do. This app is awesome and helps people that have a hard time sleeping fall asleep. That is why I like this app. The only problem is sometimes it crashes in the middle of the night. I read some of the reviews and my rarely crashes but it sometimes wakes me up. But most of the time I fall asleep really easily now. Thank you so so much for this app it is awesome. Remember tho plz fix the crashes in the app. Otherwise it is really good;>!

This app has been getting worse and worse with crashing. I had it on last night, it's the only way I can stay sleeping and it crashed 3 different times. Every time it does that I wake up and have a hard time falling back to sleep. So I've been up since 4 AM after going to bed at midnight. Seems to do this more often lately. Uninstalling

I've made this review before, but I'm posting again because this was in '19 and the devs STILL don't want to fix the problem of this app just closing itself out when you get notifications. Nevermind that you have the settings to where you shouldn't be disturbed by notifications. The devs certainly don't care that others have this problem, OBVIOUSLY. Good app when it does work and I have to put my phone on airplane mode, not something you can really do if you need to be in contact with others.

This app is essential for my misophonia to block out noises using headphones. It works excellently most of the time but sometimes it will suddenly stop, which is alarming especially if I have it on loud. Also, as I use it to block out noises like water dripping and splashing, it would be really good if the sounds before and after white noise (gentle waterfall) were other colours of white noise, instead of water sounds. Sometimes I press the toggle on my headphones by mistake and it is awful.

Works well. However, I had to only give it 3 stars because even though it may be completely closed out, everytime my phone connects to the Bluetooth in my truck the app opens itself and instantly starts playing the last noise I used. When this happens, I cannot use the pull down notification to stop it. I must "close all apps" on my phone even though it doesn't show as being open. Only then can I stop it from playing over any other app. This happened with both my old Galaxy S10+ and my S21u

It can be used while in other apps, making it great not only for sleep, meditation etc. But also reading in public. Everything seems to work great, with a large variety.

I love this app so much. It's got so many great sounds to choose from, including mixes. I also love that you can create your own mix! I depend on this app most nights to fall asleep since I've downloaded it. It's fantastic.

I use the brown noise every night on my bass speaker and I never hear the upstairs neighbors. Occasionally the app will randomly close in the middle of the night but not sure why. Probably my android samsung galaxy a425g and it has to reboot or something. It is inconsistent when that happens but I don't think that is the app?

I've used this app to help me sleep for years but lately it's started crashing in the middle night, causing the sound to stop and making me wake up. I've got the most recent version but the update didn't solve the problem. Please fix this!

I've used this specific app for years. its suddenly begun cutting out and just flat out closing down in the middle of the night. which interrupts my sleep. completely defeating the purpose of using this app. 3/2/2022: it's after 2 am, and I've counted three times this app has randomly shut down (and wiped away my chosen ending time) tonight alone. I keep getting asked if I want to PAY for the app. the developers clearly don't care enough to fix their app crashing.

Non-intrusive ads, plenty of sounds to choose from, timers, you can even create mixes of different sounds! Extremely good white noise app. Try the ocean waves with rain!

Please please please make the volume on the Box Fan louder. I'd give them 5 stars except that the best low tone sound, the Box Fan, is half as loud as all the others. Even at max volume on my phone, it's too quiet to be very useful. Otherwise, I generally like the app.

Complete garbage. The app is littered with advertising that either makes the noise you are playing to stutter or stop playing. My question is why are there ads in an app for people who use it to sleep?! Am I the only person that finds that stupid and redundant? We're not watching the app therefore we don't see the ads, you want money, that's fine, make only certain sounds a premium feature and ditch the stupid ads that are literally making your app stop working... all the time. Uninstalled.

Works very well. Lots of sounds to select from. I Iike the clock feature for the night time, and the fact that you can dim it if you wanted to.

Why can I not find white noise that doesn't cut out randomly. Also when you adjust volume on your phone the app will leave the volume bar at max so the next time you open it...

Sometimes app crashes and won't re open. Or it will just stop and start again on its own. It will also just shut off and you have to re open it.

Does exactly what it's supposed to, providing a variety of sounds such as air conditioner, heavy/light rain, wind etc. It's very useful if you have tinitus and I specifically like you can set a timer so you're not running it for 8 or so hours straight.

Been using it in hotels for several years. Makes great white noise and is a great, dimmable, easy-to-read clock.

Simple and free. Does everything you need without being a pain to use. Does what every app should and just works. I have had this app for over a year and this was the first time it ever bugged me to even leave a review. After I had the time to really use it.

Perfect, I usually sleep with a. Fan but didn't have it last night. All the other apps sounds are not smooth. Your air conditioner is perfect. Helped cover up all the extra noise outside so I could sleep. Versitle app too.

After working really well for a while this app no longer works. It crashes immediately and keeps crashing.

The white noise (and brown noise) sounds like ocean waves layered on top of static. It's not a smooth sound, therefore distracting

I really like the brown noise that this app has but it will turn off randomly throughout the night even if I have a timer set.
