I was surprised to find a white noise app that is perfect for my old smartphone. I can make it as loud or as quiet as I want. It works offline and you can turn off your screen to conserve battery power while running the app.
took away the ability to change the pitch!! now there's only a high pitch, bad for ears. please bring back at least the ability to add/ use the lower brown colored pitch! thanks
It is what it says.. And while i may try to use it for spirit communication. What i did hear in background oddly enough (be it matrixing or otherwise) was something like water dripping. But that could just be an actual thing in my house. So. It's good.
Please add back the setting where you can change the frquency. Right now for me it is unusable without it and I'm uninstalling.
It's a decent app but the fact that it even after it's forced stopped is a big no no. You should totally fix that.
This app has been downgraded to one generator, no frequency choices, full of ads.
Works ok but speaker lack of bass makes the output not truly white noise.
been using this to sleep for the longest time, works like a charm.
What is this worst app
it's just that
I love it
This app seems pretty legit. It says White noise and ask no permissions. It does not claim to be a spirit box or the kind, though some people claim earing other stuff. I believe it can. I did not ear nothing else but white noise and thats logic as I don't feel no spirit here. Unlike other places Ive been... so good app for what it claim to be, not hearing any loop either and if you pick up other stuff that might be cause thete is.
if you want white noise on a small app this is what you need, if you are hunting ghosts and dont hear any thats your issue, the ap never claims to hunt ghosts, tjat is a faith based endevor and giving the app one star for it is unfair, I feel like Im hearing other things in the background but whatever it is does not come from sound files because the app is too small to hold even a five second file. this app does what it says it does, anyone who rates below four stars has other expectations, that being said, a timer would be cool, but Im not bitching.
I sleep great with this I've been using it for a long time. The fact that the noise is generated is clear, it doesn't have any audible loops or obviously repeated sections to annoy me as I notice them. Much appreciated five stars.
Most of these ghost apps work however if you don't have a demon or angel in your area it's not going to pick them up, I know it works I've a demon in my house that's been trying to possess me and I've heard it say my name countless times I'm bored with it now
I used this app as a sound source for a nearly hour long HNW set and my battery was barely reduced. Excellent sound source, with no obvious point of looping or lost sound quality. Ads are in no way intrusive to user interface. My only note would be for more control over the frequency, but an outstanding app for free WNG.
(Review from 2015) Take a look at the images that the developer put up. There's two. Yup, two. That's all that's needed to describe this app. You've got three things to dink with, play, pause, and the Hertz (Hz), which comes out as a change in pitch of the white noise. So pitch, on, and off. Done. I've run it at half volume on my Moto X without it being plugged in and it only ate half my battery over 12 hours. That's respectable. (Updated Dec. 2019) This app is still my go-to. Still 5 stars.
Will Dresh is an idiot and probably an atheist. Yes you can communicate with white noise and yes Ouija boards do work and can be very dangerous if you don't know what you are doing!
It's plain and simple it does exactly what it was created for I wanted something that only has white noise it's perfect
Would be perfect if we can set the time when it goes off automatically.
Its great sound for my tinnitus but as for voices nothing here. When i stop it tricks my ears that for a few minutes tinnitus is gone . Pretty sire its recorded so maybe at 30mins people hear voices. Not sure
I guess I played myself thinking this thing would actually work.
I use this up camping and works awesome but can sometimes glitches out and stops
Very good app. Sometimes thee olde ways are the best ways for hearing EVP and in Real Time also with this.
I've been using this app for well over a year now, every single night, on an old phone in my toddler's bedroom. I leave it offline to avoid random alerts or whatever interrupting her sleep schedule. It needed an update and a battery check, so I connected it to the wifi, and to my surprise, this app updated itself to a version without any ability to control the frequency. Why on earth would you take that functionality away? Why? What is the purpose? I have since uninstalled the app, since it's pretty much useless now (frequency is way too high). Bring that feature back. What a worthless excuse of an "update".
