Please change the way your app works so that every time I get in my car I'm not suddenly getting white noise. This happens even if I stop and clear your app from active apps.
We bought this app because it could be cast to Google devices. It turns out to only be castable to devices with screens (tvs, home display, etc.) When casting the audio randomly cuts even after enabling it during do no disturbed. The sounds are amazing, robust, and emersive so you will be woken up when the sound cuts. Also tried to report a problem and leave feedback to the developer but that function does not work either.
[Editing for clarification] •The widget no longer works, unless the app has been opened first and I hit play from within the app. •When playing a sound, it defaults the phone's sound volume to 50% (not the "audio settings" for the app), even if I had previously turned the volume down low. •I don't want to have "auto play when app is opened" turned on, because it will blast the sound at 50% system volume. Regretting my purchase... Not worth buying if you already owned the White Noise app, I don't see much of a difference aside from different cover pictures for the sounds.
No easy way to move sounds and mixes to new device - even for premium buyers. Completely unresponsive support.
This has got to be the best noise app on the market. I cant even tell you how many years I have had this app. I have paid for it twice. Once in the Apple store, and then again when I changed over to Android. The paid version has so many more options, but it is supposed to be without ads. So why is it the White noise store that goes with it is loaded with ads. That was the point of getting the paid version. When someone pays for your app, and you have promised no ads, you should uphold that.
Update...the solution offered to disable postcard does not work. Download sounds still displays postcard and forces use of additional market app! Real nusiance and waste of great app. This used to be one of the best apps of its kind. Has some wonderful features but the use of "market" is just a nuisance, a distraction. Even the download of stock sounds forces use of browser instead of remaining in app. I have no interest in the "market" and NO option to use without it. See above.
The sounds are great how you can combine different noise types but on several different devices the sound cuts in and out. The sound is very choppy on most of my devices. Seems to work best on an old galaxy tablet and not newer devices. I changed the rating from 2 stars to 1 because support has never gotten back with me after I submitted an issue.
developer just wants your money. purchased app and sounds before. I had to reset my phone so I exported every mix and sound that I had. on reinstall, when importing what I already owned, it gave me a warning that it would only use stock sounds and that I had to buy the "pro" version to obtain the same features that I had previously purchased in the previous version. the latest "upgrade" of the previous version actually downgraded the app to force people to buy it again as "pro" version. rip off!
For some reason several times a night, it ubruptly lowers the volume and wakes me up.
no chromecast audio support as of july 2019, honestly it's not a difficult thing to get working, so they're just lazy developers. they're more focused on releasing new sounds to make more money than fixing the existing problems. I'll be complaining to google since I paid for this. I'll be looking at alternatives that function properly.
cool app. I use it for sleep and meditation. im a huge fan of ambient music and Brian Eno being a composer and musician myself this app gives creativity to have some fun designing your own ambient soundscapes. only complaint is that the pitch/tempo adjustment is not incremental by number... it's tricky to get the slider to move where you want it.
It will only share via Chromecast video, I don't need the video to fall asleep, just the audio. I do not like sharing my entire device's audio as it is a pain, so I have no use for this app. If they implemented using Chromecast audio as well I would give it five stars.
stop updating rhe sounds! if you want to make a new version of a sound, give it a new name! I use the app to help me sleep, and when you add new random intermittent noises ( e.g drip noises in the rain sounds) for "realism", it wakes me up!
No extra value from free version and it randomly stops in the middle of the night, waking me up and defeating the entire purpose of the stupid app. I've received zero feedback from the development team after submitting feedback on this issue on both this and the free version of this app. Don't waste your money😖
It's a great app. I installed it on several Android devices, Kindle tablets, and all of my Windows PCs. Well worth the money. I sometimes run multiple TM Soft white noise apps to create a kind of 3D soundscape.
I just upgraded to the pro version of the white noise app . It ihas everything I need and has been working great so far. Many features to choose from. I highly recommend this app.
I would like an option for mono audio I realize a big sort of this app is intended for a 3d type stereo but it would be nice if the sounds could just fade in and out volume and not worry about stereo,for use without headphones. otherwise amazing app
Amazing app. Unfortunately, it does not support native casting to Google Home or Chromecast Audio devices, which dramatically limits its utility for me. Will upgrade to 5 stars once it does.
I have come back to this app so many times over the years. I love that you can make custom sounds with lots of mixing options to make some sounds quieter or less frequent or slower!
This app not only helps with sleep, it helps with anxiety. I love it.
I've had this app for years, and it's fantastic. No other app compares, and there's always new sounds to download from the from the White Noise store. They're completely free, but I pay .99 a month so I don't have ads.
