Latest list of celebrities and famous people who have died in this month includes:
✓ Celebrity name
✓ Celebrity short bio
✓ Celebrity age
✓ Celebrity photo (if available)
You can light a candle or place a flowers for selected person and write some memorial message next to it, so everyone can read it.
If you click on listed name you will get full biography of dead person straight from Wikipedia.
You can also filter list by nationality and occupation (job). There is also possibility to search person on the list.
There is also possibility to set notification or place widget on your home screen, so you can stay informed about new celebs who are sadly died today.
You can add alive person to the watchlist and get notification when he or she die.
There is also historical data available (down to year 1999), so you can see who has died e.g. in January 1999.

This app is English only! Due to Wikipedia as a data source I can't translate it to other languages.

I'm giving 3 stars because I like the concept of the app, but I'm not sure if I've entered the correct settings I want to get alerts about. Example: actors, actresses etc. Which, I have entered, but I've not received any alerts. It would be better for the user, I think, to choose from a list rather than having to enter it ourselves. Thanks!
I'm changing my response to five stars. The fact that the developer got back to me within 24 hours to tell me he was planning to update the watch list settings and that it might be my battery settings, (which didn't change anything), was very helpful!
Usually good app. But recently just saying "it has no results". Tried reloading the app and it still saying the same. App back to its excellent standards after a few days being down so changed my review.
Love it, I used to depend on the NYT for Obit info. Now that they have ceased being a news outlet, you, Dear Friend, are a wonderful alternative. I am an Obit freak. I believe there is much to be learn from how others have lived their lives. BTW I am 78, but not famous enough for listing on your app. Good luck
No annoying pop up ads. Thank you so much for this. If you could add a feature to only see certain people like musicians or people in certain countries that would be awesome. I really appreciate this app and what it has to offer. Notifications are great, I love that you can adjust the times of your notifications, and the "leave a candle" option was a lovely touch.
Good idea, but still needs work. The filter is useless, it doesn't filter out what I've crossed out. And what's the point with the search? I've put several names in there and get "there's nothing to show here yet" when I know that person has passed ... unless you know the month and year that celeb has passed, you get nothing ... so, completely pointless, I might as well just use Google!
It serves its purpose but completely and totally lacks in features. I even have it set up to one notification a day and it sends me like five a day so certain settings don't even work. I've never seen an app so poorly put together that that was the case before.
Well executed nice app, just really wish it had the functionality to send a notification every time a new entry is added, rather than just periodically.
For the last week.or so this is the message I keep getting..."There is nothing to show here yet". I have tried the pat Months and getti g the same message. The app worked perfectly until this started showing up. What's got g on???? I have reinstalled and updated the app 4x and still not working
So far this is a very interesting app. If there are ads I don't really notice them and I find out about people's lives that I didn't know existed. Believe it or not it is not depressing and it's nice we can leave a candle and a message for free on peoples pages on this app . good job
works okay, only problem is thsa I can't save people other than typing in people to a watch list before they die. I I would like to be able to add my favourites of hose who have already died.
its depressing, but it keeps me in the know of who has passed. good for keeping me updated, and good at keeping me depressed. no disrespect though, i like the app. keep up the good work.
Won't hold filter American Actors. Keeps showing all. What plus sign? There is no button of any kind on the page. Sorry! I don't see a button anywhere?

I downloaded this app because the app I had used DOAB is no longer available. This app is thorough. If it has died, it's a good chance it will be listed here.

Doesn't filter even with rules applied. I don't want to scroll through so many lisitngs to find what I wanted filtered.
It is up to date on every one around the world. There are a lot of people I do not recognize. So much so that I miss the ones I do know.

Very interesting! Can you get rid of the horses when they die? Can't go back month does not work either.
Excellent, one minor issue (and it really is minor) when applying filters and we return to the main list, the filters aren't automatically applied, we have to refresh the list manually using the floating action button (you could also consider using a 'pull down to refresh' feature for your recycler/list view) . Maybe consider using a shared preference changed listener to remedy this.
