Whoops!!

This isn't your average board game! Whoops!! brings the fun of thousand-year-old "cross and circle" games to your tablet or phone.

Move around the board clockwise and try to get all four of your pieces into the ending area. Different cards influence your movement and enable special moves to be performed that can quickly turn the tides on your opponents. But be careful! Your opponents have access to the same set of moves.

Gameplay is rapid-paced, as cards that contain invalid moves will slide off-screen automatically. No time is wasted in-between turns. Progress bars and ranks in the four corners of the screen will keep you up to date on where you stand in comparison to the other players.

Your pieces have personality as well! Whenever a move happens in-game, watch as they react to the events that occur around them. Cutscenes are activated from certain extra special cards, which feature your pieces as well. They also have a somewhat tragic backstory!

This app is produced by "Durian!" of Boston, MA. We are a small, independent team looking to bring fun and fresh gameplay experiences to all of your devices. Whoops!! is our first polished creation, and we hope that you enjoy playing it as much as we did making it.

It's a cute game! Really like the friendly atmosphere and the light mellow music, but I'm waiting for you guys to add an online multiplayer mode! You can do a code invitation system, that would be the perfect option so I could play with my friends on cross platforms. That would give even better promo to this game, please consider it 👍

Very close to the brand game. Facial expressions are not always in line with the actual events: frowning when you go back four spaces from the start position). Nevertheless, it's pretty cool to have this game and I've been playing once every night for the last week. So far, no issues. I played a version of Sorry many years ago on my computer which had an option of playing with five cards. I wish this had that as well, because it would then require a little more skill and depend less on luck.

It's a free, digital version of the board game, "Sorry!". The game runs well--no bugs or glitches, not absolutely caked in ads. The animations are pretty cute. My biggest complaint is there is no online multiplayer, which defeats the whole purpose of a digital board game, in my opinion. Also, as a composer and sound designer, I cringe at the lack of audio. (Not that you NEED audio to enjoy the game--but it would definitely enhance the experience.)

Use to play this knock off board game of Sorry! to pass the time. At first it was fun but now horrible to the point that it can't be played. The pieces to the board aren't even lined up anymore (it looks like the board has shifted to the left). Also everything has become smaller (the pieces, board and cards) which is hard to read the numbers on the card. Tried re-installing it to see of that would fix the problem but it didn't. Please fix this problem!

Wow! The arrow now doesn't cover what place the green pawn is in. I take back my comment about controlling the speed, I think it's in a sweet spot right now. I think a very hard option could probably be added, or at least a whoops heavy option where AI players don't just go for the place closest, they knock people off. Also, I'd pay for no ads if it was reasonable $$$. 😬

Game has a few glitches. First, sometimes when you move your piece it doesn't go to the square where it should be, although the game will still recognize that your piece should be in the right place and on the next move it will start at the right place. Second, it doesn't handle a roll of 7 correctly. A player should only be able to move on a 7 if they can move 7 spaces with 1 or 2 pieces, but the game will allow 1 piece to move less than 7 without another piece using the rest.

Doesnt work very well in many cases. The cards drawn will often follow a pattern, which is really unrealistic most of the time and it usually uses patterns when plauers are close to winning and then they lose because of this. It often time feels like the game purposely evens everyone out to make the game close and it gives you cards you cant use constantly. Also, it would be much better if each player could hold 5 cards at a time like normal and not have to play the kiddie version of the game.

I can see why some of the design options had to be the way they are, but it doesn't mean it's overly fun, or well done. If you want a game like Sorry! this looks the part initially, but it could do better. Overall, probably better for a younger crowd. Or players who are playing the game for itself, and not for the Sorry! vibes, because despite initial appearances, this game is just different enough from Sorry! board game, as to be noticeable.

Nice implementation of Sorry! My wife had the original board game when we first met, and introduced me to the game. Nice to finally find a version of it on Play Store. Easy and fun to play, captures the spirit of the original board game. The playing pieces are cute and happy, and full marks for the nostalgia. Nice one!

I like everything about the game it reminds me of sorry which is my favorite bord game. Half of the time I don't like it. 1. After a color gets 3rd place, I don't get the choice to watch 4th place finish the game. I don't care who wins first or second. I like to see all the colors finish the game. Not just 3. I want all four colors to go home. 2. sometimes the pawns go back 1 and they really just need to go forword 10 to get closer to home. It's the pawns choice, but that makes this game longer.

Fun. The cards seemed a bit rigged as the other players always had something to kill me so I ran an experiment. I played every color as a human with strict rules, emphasizing the most logical choice for the color to win. No biased choices, no random killing, killing is only for beneficial reasons to get the pawn as close to home as possible or if the killing is result of the only choice available for that color. Played 12 games: Blue, yellow, green- all won 4 Red: 0 Result: don't be red

There aren't that many ads and when there are ads they don't interupt game play. There is a glitch where the settings for each color will change from what you choose, Ex. Green changing from human player to easy cpu, but other than that a great game its fun to play.

It's a fun game but hard to get the game pieces to move because they are small to touch. Also, the game let me move one of my four pieces from start when I played a 4 card but didn't move me back 4 spaces. I just got the game today and this is just my second game so maybe I didn't notice I got a 1 or 2 card before the 4. I'm hoping to win soon against the computer.

Game is fun and like Sorry with the exception of the board being a little smaller, but the rules are the same. Sometimes it glitches when drawing cards, but a great game to play when wasting time.

Just like Sorry! But soooo much cuter with the little characters! Just needs an online multi-player option to be able to play with friends instead of just computer AI's.

update: played one game since update 7s did spit correctly but turns were still skipped as well as peices dont move correctly thank you so much for the response as well as contact info i will send what screenshots im able (being skipped there cant be a screenshot i just lose my turn and only the next players card is shown) but will also send decriptions shortly.

The description of the 10 card under "How to Play" doesn't make sense. We move a piece forward 10 and then back 10? I think the description for the 11 card needs an "or" in there. I think you can do one or the other, not both. The description for the W card starts by saying "move from your starting area" but then says "The piece cannot move from start". Often when you move forward your piece doesn't actually move until the start of your next turn, and if it would have landed on another player's piece that piece is not sent back to start.

Really good! On easy, the computer opponents play badly,, which is to be expected. I would like options to speed up the animations

May I offer a suggestion? I really love the game, I have no problems with the actual play of it, I was just wondering if you would ever make it an option to change the background? The background is just a little dark and kind of doesn't get me into the mood to play the game. It would be really nice if we had different options to choose from :)

I love playing this game. I wish there was an expert one to play. You have an easy, and medium hard. Then after hard could be an expert one.

Pam. B. Nov 6, 2020

Enjoy playing but definitely rigged when you get close to winning. I can dominate the game but once I only have one piece left, i can't finish the game until all the other CPU players are caught up to me.

This is a very good game. I had to get used to the little twists that make it different. I do like the animations. And very few ads. You've got me hooked!

Chr. C. Feb 19, 2022

On the get out with the number 2 card you can only move out 1 space. And it's not fair. Can anyone count who created this game. 2 equals 2 spaces when moving out of the bubble

Please fix the game my pieces isn't even on the squares.. it's hard to play when the pieces all the game is messed up I'll change my rating when this gets fixed thank you 😊

Game is fun when it works which is pretty rare. When playing a Whoops card, the piece you are kicking off stays put as well as your piece. Then the piece you wee knocking off still plays. Pawns don't move alot of the time until after 3 moves or so. Splitting a seven does not work.

Sorry is my favorite board game but I could not find a mobile app version until I found this. All of the fun of Sorry and being able to play against computers is really helpful. You know, since no one in my family wants to play Sorry with me anymore.
