Whoosh!

This app is very convenient to ensure your parking space is paid for, and you can add time as needed. I did have trouble tonight when the card on file was expired. Later I tried to go to my account to delete the old card and add the new and I could not. Only 3 stars because I spent s lot of time getting frustrated with no resolution. So, a bit glitchy but still a great tool!

The interface is slow and cumbersome, purchasing a parking space requires navigating through at least 4 menus. Selecting a parking lot requires finding it on a map or selecting it by country, even when GPS is on, it's not detected. There is a 'Save as favorite' feature, but it saves the space number, so it's only useful of you park in the exact same spot. There are regular connection issues, menus hang at a loading prompt for several seconds between pages. And fees can be as much as 30% extra.

It is convenient to use when you are on the go when if decides to work. It freezes & doesn't always process the transaction. For example, I paid for park, then got a ticket later for not paying. When I tried to figure out what happened I realized it confirmed but never processed. Another time it kept telling me it couldn't connect or make a connection, and by the time I was able to go in person I had another ticket.

Misleading User interface, where the final "Purchase" button is shown off screen. Really seems this is done on purpose, so user does not finalize purchase, and might result in a fine! Also explanation of the "Forfait de post stationement" is not clear. Last thing, notifications do not work every time. All this seems to trick user in optaining a fine!!

I signed up for it since I needed to park at meters, not knowing how long I would need. The app would let me do a min of 2 hours, or I could add more, but could not select less. Supposedly I could leave sooner, and the left over time would stay on my account. Not true. There was no way for me to mark it as leaving, losing an extra 40 minutes that I paid for along with the fee. So what would have cost me $1.25 if I fed the meter with quarters, ended up costing me $2.35. I tried to contact customer service, but got a voicemail. I will not use it again and will not recommend using it.

The latest update has broken payment. All my saved cards are gone. I've added one, and it shows in My Account section, but on the Payment screen, it says no cards have been defined. Have to manually type in all the info each and every time I want to pay for parking. How is this any more convenient than using the meter on the road? Whatever you did, you need to revert/fix. HangTag (one of the least friendly parking apps) is now easier to use than Whoosh!

In general, parking apps are so much more convenient than traditional meters, except I now have a collection. Unfortunately, this app cost me a $30 fine. Extending your parking time requires you to tap "extend", then select the amount of time to extend, then tap "confirm" (all good, right?), but the gotcha is: you're still not done. Every other website and app in the universe has the "confirm" button as the LAST step, but not Whoosh! You must then tap "purchase" to make the transaction. 😒

Pain in the a$$. Used to remember my card info and made parking a breeze. Then it forgot it, and regardless of how many times I've tried to re-enter it and even reinstall the app, I have to manually enter my card number every day. To make matters worse, it would often take me upwards of four times of entering my info manually before the payment processed, it would just get stuck on a white screen. Awful app.

The app, and the entire service, is not intuitive to use. So many extra steps and button pushing. I suspect the needless bloat is why it keeps crashing, too. It's a good idea in general, but the execution needs some help. I ended up just passing at the machine.

the update ruined the app. You have to zoom in from a distance each time you log on now wasting time on the app. You also have to fight each time to input your card information which has caused me to not be able to pay multiple times and got me ticketed. Completely useless and would give 0 stars if able. There needs to be an alternate to this.

The worst parking app in history. It's amazing how useless it is. You can't type in the meter number yourself so you better pray that your meter is gonna pop up right away or you're gonna have to look for it. It crashes all the time and has a great habit of deleting your payment info. Oh, and keep an eye on time because it rarely tells you that your time is running out. You're paying extra for using this app, which is ok, if it would actually works.

This is the worst Android app I have ever used, and that's saying a lot. The UI is a top ten list of bad practices. The developers obviously never consulted a native English speaker about their copy. But the deal breaker is that the app will never save my payment info. So I have to enter credit card details every time I park.

Absolutely terrible! I've used the app several times to pay for parking at Chase Farm hospital and I tried to pay for parking today following an appointment only to be greeted by an internal error message. I tried to call customer support through the app and guess what? That doesn't work either! I still can't pay and meanwhile the timer is ticking away. Avoid this app at all costs, instead pay at a kiosk, will save you a lot of hassle. I wish I could pay via another app rather than Whoosh!!!

This app used to work most of the time. I had to log into the desktop version once but no biggie. Now it doesn't work at all. Log in with Facebook takes you to the sign up screen. Try to use your card (which it doesn't save) blank screen. Try another card, says you need to go to the payments tab and add a card. Go to payments tab, says you can only add a card when buying a ticket. I called the help center and talked to a nice lady who recommended flowbird app but doesn't work now.

Classic running to the goal posts without the ball. My city decided to use this as there parking app but it's utterly useless. Can't add payment details and won't display the parking zone I'm in. Save yourself the storage on your phone and just pay at the meter. Still can't believe people can make such garbage apps in 2018.

This app was fine until the last update. Nownit doeant save card information. On top of that when I enter card information to pay, I now have to do it upwards of 10 times in a row because every time I tap "finish" it takes me to a blank screen! This is frusterating, time consuming, and no longer worth the extra .35 fee because its no longer more convenient than the kiosks, which have their own problems. Fix your stupid app!

No way to contact if error occurs. I was charged twice for the same parking so I emailed via the app and the email bounced as (according to gmail) 'The recipient server did not accept our requests to connect'. So tried the phone number and got a recorded message saying it's an incorrect number. Will be paying cash from now on.

Worst parking app I have ever used. Keeps defaulting to French. Loses payment card information just about every update and this time I have had to enter it multiple times. Hope it is there tomorrow. The search feature is useless. If I had handed this in to my Mobile Application Development course I would not have graduated. Our city should find a decent provider.

I'm on a Google Pixel on the latest Android OS. After the last update, I cannot save my payment information on my account, even when I make a parking purchase. I can't even save a card as my default card. It's incredibly frustrating, as this app is supposed to be used for greater convenience.

I've tried more than 5 times to pay ONE parking fee and after I input the credit card info (I've tried two), the page clears the credit card info screen and only shows the "Options" drop down. The parking kiosk at the building is also broken, so I might get a ticket. FIX THIS APP.

Spent 15 minutes trying to pay $3 to park for the day. Every time I tried to pay it just kicked me back to the screen to enter my card info. Ended up just giving up and not paying to park. Luckily no ticket. This apps wants to be Parking Kitty and it's just not. Really terrible. I'm just going to buy an annual pass from the place I was trying to park at.

Can't add a new card. My old one expired and I can't delete that either. I add new card and it just shows options after adding card, no buttons, no where to go. if you push back it loses the card info. So now I have to walk around and look for a kiosk instead of paying on my phone. This app used to work good otherwise.

Scam, do not download or use! The app is design purely to increase the profit of the parking lot operators. Just before my time expired I tried to extend the time. The app just spun and then logged me out. I tried again and the same thing happened. Now my time was up so I bought new time which cost me another $2.60. Then I get to my truck and there is a $39 ticket on it. The app notifies the lot attendant of your exirped time and they ticket you instantly. This is all by design. Do not use!

This app does not work. First of all it takes forever to load. 2. It for some reason is now making me put in my credit card every time I use it. 3. The map is upside down. North should be at the top of the page. 4. The bubbles on the map should have the number of the meters on them. 5. If I'm just running in to collect a sandwich, why should I pay $1.37 for an hour of parking I'm not going to use. It's outrageous price and it takes me nearly 10 minutes every time to just complete the transaction.

Downloaded this because I was in Niagara Falls, ON and the parking lot at the attraction I went to used this. Data signal is notoriously poor along the river, always thinking I'm in the other country. Regardless, i finally got it downloaded and set up only to find that it ONLY uses GPS to determine which parking spot you're at, and the one I was at not showing in the app. There is no way to manually enter the lot number, which is preposterous. So happy I gave it my card info. Deleted.

Went to Niagara Glen for a hike and followed the instructions on the parking meter to download Woosh. Setting up my car and payment was simple enough. However, the app couldn't find the lot # I was in and it doesn't even show up on the map, despite the sign saying pay by Woosh. I ended up going into the store and buying a yearly parking pass in person...way easier then the app. Verdict...app deleted!

Relatively easy to use, however app glitched on me twice and purchase didn't go through. I caught it the first time, the second time I did not and ended up with a parking ticket. When I contacted Whoosh! for help and/or feedback, they never responded. Poor customer service.

App doesn't save debit / credit card info. Having to re-enter my data every session is as bad as using a physical pay station. Also, only adding a new payment method when starting a new parking session should be doable anytime, anywhere.

This was an okay app, not great, but better than walking back and forth to the car. However, it no longer saves payment information which renders it all but useless. It's weird to watch updates that make things so much worse. Hopefully, you'll get it fixed.
