This is the best app for testing Local Network speeds. No additional apps(like a PC server app) needed, just run the app and start testing right away. Simple to use and does the work it's supposed to do. Some people are posting negative reviews regarding the speeds shown in the app. Remember, this app measures the speed between your device and the router, not the internet speed.

Simple. Provides the simple exact essential. I was hoping it would express a lot more statistics though. But this can help in a metal detector kind of way, which is still very handy. I'm comfortable with recommending it. I hope they add an option to increase the feedback/update rate.

Great for seeing real-time data rates in and around the house. It's very convenient.

App broken, seems like my 5Ghz network constantly working at around 60mbps while in fact the speed is much higher.

I am somewhat mystified by this app. It seems to record signal strength and speed very well as you travel around where you are checking, but there seems to be no way of seeing your saved results, only comparing them to other results, which severely limits its usability.

Not the best tool...speed drop and stay low. Tried it with 3 different wifi routers and for most part it shows speed and signal strength fine but then speed drops really low while it is still transmitting same speed so something's definitely bugged.

Used to work great, but it's inaccurate on Pie. My phone reports a link rate of 300mbps,but the app is regularly showing transfer rates in excess of a gbps. Could use some investigation, I think.

Great app for WiFi set-up and testing. One small problem is it reports (for example) 24Mbps when it means 240Mbps. Takes a few tries and then it gets the decimal correct. No issues with values under 100Mbps.

could have been my device messing up...but used this app for a month on a wifi only tablet..my usage app said it was running persistently (background) and at that point had used 43 GB of data? that cant be right... right? watch yo back lil homies deez appz be lyin on tha reg. word up, yo. and have a wonderful day!

Hooray! The latest build released today fixed the Android 10 issue on my Pixel 4 XL! Adjusted the review back to its original / well-deserved 5-star review. The app is just fantastic when it works and i appreciate the work that the dev has put in!

6GB background Wi-Fi data usage in a week or two & I only use Wi-Fi for 1 hour a day. Still the same Wi-Fi data usage when I force stop the app. Won't be using this app no more.

Excellent app. This app is the best of its kind. Its so easy to use my mother who can barely send a text has no problem using it. Great job on the app.

A handy little app for testing the speeds you can get through WiFi, good for showing how the ISP is still the limiting factor in speeds to the device

This app has some how managed to use up 14gb of data on my phone in the last month without it being used something seems rather odd about that so have deleted and won't be using again

The latest update broke the app. It showed exceptionally low speed compared to the legend.

This app is great to know how fast your device to your wifi router speed is. This is great to know who is bottlenecking whether your wifi or ISP. To those confuse about this app, this is app is not measure internet speed but measure your wifi speed quality.

Used to be a go to app but seems broken in Android 10 because speed always shows as zero.

Uses massive amounts of data whilst running and in the background I mean 40 GB in a week or so and 4gb just running it for 10 minutes

Stay away from this app. For some reason it uses huge amount of wifi. In my case 57gb for one month. That is quite strange, isn't it?

This app does what it says, and is great at finding the areas where the wifi is best.

The app no longer shows whether my Galaxy s10 is connected to 2.4ghz or 5ghz band. Please help.

Nice graphs but hard to interpret when they don't stabilize long
