WIBW 13 Weather app

It's a weather app thats clear as day, easy to use. It does an excellent job explaining the weather and the weather to come, and when there is weather that us potentially dangerous, it will alert you. This is a very nice app, totally recommend.

The app needs some serious optimization. It's slow. Like really slow. Plus if I switch apps (even just for a couple of seconds) I have to wait for everything to load all over again.

I love being able to know what is going on with the weather in my area at all times. Especially when we receive the weather alerts. That is very helpful during storm season. It is great being able to see the temperature when getting ready in the morning and knowing what it will be like for the day. I would definitely recommend this app it is awesome to have and I'm very thankful I have it!

My issue isn't with the app, which is great, especially during severe weather. Why I gave it five stars. My issue is with the meteorologists. They said a few days ago we would be getting rain/ storms tomorrow. They changed it on the daily forecast that now says, we probably won't have any rain until Sunday. The First Alert Forecast just said we ARE getting rain/ storms tonight. The daily forecast says otherwise. MAKE UP YOUR MINDS. Get your daily and First Alert Forcasts "on the same page."

Slow app to open the app does not show the same info as the tv weather does they are always in conflict. I really dont know why i keep it. I guess for the radar. Other than that i switch back and forth between wibw and ksnt app. Ksnt weather on tv seems to be more reliable.

Really great coverage of the Topeka area. The notifications aren't intrusive. As simple as checking the time and reading what is expected in the forecast. Typically, in a brief one or two sentences.

When phone notifications are set to SILENT (NOT vibrate) the app overrides this setting and causes the phone to vibrate with a notification. This is NOT acceptable. Please fix this. Update 2/15/21: notifications still override phone settings and vibrate when settings are set to silent. Borderline illegal.

This Jeremy fellow kept talking about getting this app, so I did. The fellow might've actually been named Ralph. Those guys are basically twins. Anyway... It's great app. I wish I had it last weekend (April) for that thunderstorm. It suddenly started raining real fast and I could hear wind blowing like a freight train (thought it was sound of thunder at first) but no visible wind. Spooky!

App spends more time locked up than active lately. Can't get to scroll to see forecast or radar. Contacted the station and never heard back.

I like your weather information, but there are other apps that give that information. Since you insist on having that obnoxious announcement that there is a new forecast, I am going to delete your app.

I was happy with it until the annoying audible notification about a new weather alert all the time. I tried disabling it any way I could find. The only thing that worked was uninstalling.

After Update? The Daily Temps are Single Digit numbers. NOT Celsius.. but unknown - unrelatable single digits. Can't seem to make them change or update to F° degrees. Even C° Is wrong. I prefer WIBW. So I hope it gets fixed. Thanks.

I get the weather for every day if it's going to rain or not if it's going to freeze yes I love being able to look ahead of time I think it's awesome!

Weather app functions are fine. The random audio announcement about weather updates that it blurts out when not using the app are too annoying. Uninstalled.

Warning boxes are too dark! I can't see the storm location on the radar because I can't see it through the warning boxes.

Awesome. Hope someday it will display Jeremy's Excellent Maps he uses on TV weather.. maybe someday! But I do like hearing his voice announcing weather alerts! Thanks!

I live in Topeka and of the many weather apps I've tried this is the most accurate and informative for this area.

I always trust your forecasts when bad weather of any kind is eminent for my area. I am able to keep up on current warnings and weather forecast

Widget does not update until you open it. Never can glance at the widget on the homescreen and trust that it is accurate.

Getting the location to sync takes forever. Otherwise it's a wonderful app.

Occasionally it is an accurate forecast, rarely does it match the live forcast. The radar is good.

Horrible. Notifications for stuff you don't care about. No notifications for stuff you do care about.

Would like to see easier access to closings. Other than that, it's great and I rely on it daily.

I love that I can check numerous locations and also check the weather there either hourly or daily. This helps plan my day and if there is severe weather on a particular day I can take appropriate actions to stay safe. Thank you WIBW

There's a huge delay for what is currently going on in comparison to what I'm seeing on the radar or getting any notifications I believe the delay is unnecessary I am not a Topeka resident therefore I don't want to because information I want my location and when I look on the radar I don't need what happened for 5 hours before I want what's current what's getting ready to happen to me not something that happened yesterday believe me when I say this needs to be fixed ASAP we are in storm season

The app is okay but does not have allergy reports and the home screen is missing air pressure as a asthma sufferer that is important please include allergy and air pressure reports so I can give a better rating ,thanks.

Great weather app keeps you up to date on the local weather. And different things like wind, fire etc warnings. Burn bans, watches and warnings ( severe storms)

It's a real good app for news, weather, and sports. If anything have some financial and agriculture news. But I really like the app.

Attractive, no frills, and easily navigated app. I have downloaded many weather apps and this one fits my needs.

I have a problem with the app because it is smooshing the letters together and they're not coming out clear of the word Kansas or they're just smashing the words and it looks like a big white blur with the letter with the words
