WIC Connect

The scanner on the app hardly works. You have to keep reopening the scanner with it already pointing at the bar codes any other way does not work-I spend a lot of time going back & reopening the scanner. However recently this app has stopped working!! Says "unable to connect servers, try again later" has been going on for over a wk! Try reinstalling it & it didn't work! I'm not the only one getting this message. Going to contact my WIC branch to see if there's anything they can do. Super frustrating it hasn't been fixed yet!!!

The app (pre-update) was helpful in a pinch! After the last major update, however, it has become a pain. Every single time i go to open the app, i am given the option to sign up or log in- which is fine! Unfortunately, every time i try to sign in, it takes me to the "authenticate" site and has me go thru the WHOLE process of authenticating repeatedly! This takes longer than just calling the WIC automated hotline and finding out whats left. Barcode scanner has always been iffy.

The app hasn't let me sign in since Saturday....its now Monday. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. No fix. I've also tried reaching out to them on the app and it it let's me type everything up but will not send anything. Very frustrating it still will not let me log in, therefore I can not email you directly from there either. this has been messed up for months. I just used my last month of wic so I don't need this useless app anymore.

I was liking the app before it crashed with the Android system. It was great to be able to check when my next appointment was, as well as, what was on my list. Could not get the scanner part to work. That would be helpful if I wasn't certain if something was on the approved list. Otherwise, it would be great if they could get it to work again. It's been down for a week.

Initially the app worked great. I loved it. Now I can never get into the app. It automatically takes me to a state website and actually causes issues signing into the site itself. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it hasn't helped at all. The app would be so useful if it actually worked.

I loved the app when I first downloaded it because I didnt have to carry the book around flipping through pages while shopping. Needs fixing though because I was never able to scan barcodes and for about two months I haven't been able to login because it's "not connected to servers"

HORRIBLE APP! Keeps locking me out, does not reset and unlock as it claim it's supposed to! Continues to disable the account. NONE of the contact them or verification methods work. Then it freezes and you can't scroll pass whatever you're looking at. Sometime it gives the info for you to call them but who wants to keep doing that!!!!

Horrible! I have entered all of the correct information and the App keeps telling me that my information is incorrect. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. My Wic counselors even stated that they have has several people with the same issues. What is the point of having an App that we cannot use? I am beyond frustrated with this app.

When I can finally get into the app it's great. But loging in is a mess. EVERY SINGLE TIME it tells me Username and password are incorrect and I have to reset it every time. It's a hassle to use.

Won't let me log in for the last few weeks. Used to work ok. Also, the scanner won't focus enough to register anything while shopping. Very annoying. I used to have WIC in Wisconsin and their app was great...much better design and never any issues. Wish they'd make the MI app similar

Edit: The developers were extremely helpful with the instructions to get past my issue. I would suggest getting that fixed so no one else has to go thru that tho. Loved this app when it first came out. Now everytime i try to login it redirects me to a different website, where i enter my info and it tells me its incorrect. So i do a gazillion things to reset my account and it sends me in to Secretary of State. Ive been pushing for a WIC app for years, very frustrating!

"Wont connect to server" everytime I tries logging on lately, yet had my friend sign onto mine with no problems from her own phone!! Later on in the day I tired logging on again and once I hit log in all the buttons that were orange had turned gray and just sat there...... tried uninstalling and reinstalling after it started still had the gray button problem. Might delete it for good unless the app is fixed soon!! 🙄

When I first got the app it was great. But for some reason lately it hasnt been working tried deleting and redownloading but that didn't. It keeps saying can't connect to servers. updat: 07/08/19 After the update it's been working great! Thanks

I've had this app for a few months now and for the past month everytime I try and log in it says "won't connect to sever". I've tried deleting and uploading again and it didn't help. Wish it would work because it was nice to have on my phone.

I can't log in even though I have my password saved, it took me forever to figure out how to use it, it isn't very user friendly, and the layout is very confusing and makes things hard to find. Yeah I can check my balances, but those are confusing to read too. I don't like this app.

I emailed last year when I had the initial problem. They reset my account and gave me a new user ID. It still didn't work. I signed in and it closed after 30 seconds of use. Then I tried to sign in again and it said incorrect or invalid. P.s. I attempted to contact WIC via the app and it wants me to have an email account through my phone and I do not have that. P.p.s. this was not my first attempt using this app. It did not work before either.

Every time I try to log in, it gives an error saying the email address is not available and to check Facebook account. Uninstall and reinstall and still nothing. It worked fine until the most recent update. Tried emailing for help but no response as well.

This app would be great if you could log in. For the last 2 months I have not been able to log in. It displays a "Cannot connect to the servers" error message. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and still the error message. Please fix it.

When I try to login, it tells me it cannot connect to the server. Then, when I try to use the contact option to let them know about the issue and hopefully get it resolved, it simply tells me that my message or email was not sent and there was an error. After this I am left with no other options (that I am aware of, anyway) for assistance with my account.

I can't make my account what so ever. I have even tried downloading it on my fiances phone and it still doesnt work. I am already a client but every time i try and sign up being a client already it never pops up. I dont k ow what is going on with your guys app but it needs an update or something because ive never had issues with anyother app but this one.

My password stopped working, so I try to reset it. even though my phone and email is registered it wouldn't let me use them for recovery. I had to use security questions and the security questions I took a screenshot of them before I submitted it so I wouldn't forget them but for some odd reason even though I entered it correctly it's not accepting. now I've been locked out of my account and there's no contact number anywhere on the application to get help

I've followed every step precisely, including double-checking my information with our local office. I can't even register, every attempt ends with a prompt regarding issues with the server. I'd love to actually use this app, please help!

Keeps telling me my login info is incorrect when it is in fact correct. I have my login info on my memo pad and I checked it 2 or 3 times and it still said it was wrong. I'm getting so annoyed with this app only working 10% of the time. I'm better off with just my paper grocery list every month with my next appt date on it instead of this stupid app.

When I log in to the app It tells me to link my wic account and when I type out all of the CORRECT information it tells me that its invalid. I was told that my email was not on file and to have my wic office save it and redownload the app but that still didnt help. I'm getting extremely frustrated and I'm ready to just give up. I don't know what else I can do to have my wic benefits written down and not recited off the phone by an animated voice.

I have been trying for months to get this app to work. I've used it before and it was so helpful towards the beginning of 2021 the app went downhill for me and no longer let's me log in. I've reached out multiple times and have not received an answer. I wish I could get some help and be able to actually use the app again.

I love this App! Very usefull. Instead of calling the card everytime and trying to hear what I all have left on my card it is all laid out for me to see, and tell me exactly what I can get and how much and what I have left after I use it. Shopping with 2 kids has its challenges already and this app makes it sooo much easier.

app just doesn't work anymore. was working great. I loved it! now for the past month or so I tried to log in and it says that it's unable to connect to the servers. hope you guys fix it soon! calling for the food balance is always such a hassle.

Everytime I try to login for like the last month it doesn't let me... Usually when I enter my info and press login it just turns all the buttons grey and sits there and does nothing then 5-10 mins later it says something about not being able to connect to the server... Kinda annoying and defeats the whole purpose of having it when it won't even work

keeps stopping. never works Edit: Finally, I am being able to use this app, so I changed my ratings from 1 star to 4. Now I don't have any issues. I can scan items, see whats left and so many other things. However there is a lot room for improvement. I appreciate the great work done by the team. Thank you.

When it works its a great tool, server is "unavailable" far too many times to be a convenience tool. I end up calling my card for balance inquiries most of the time because of server flaws. Fix the bugs please.
