How the TONELINK app works
The TONELINK app uses your phone's speaker to transmit acoustic control signals for the hearing aids. You have to pair your hearing aids with your phone the first time you use the app. Just follow the steps, and please note that you might need to adjust your phone volume for the app to work.
To ensure correct and safe operations:
*This app is made for people with compatible WIDEX hearing aids fitted by a hearing care professional.
*The sounds played by the phone may be audible by you and other people. The sound might be perceived as annoying by some people.
*You can adjust the volume of these sounds by adjusting your phone volume to a level that is not annoyingly high and not too low for the hearing aids to pick up.
*Do not use the app while the phone is directly by your or another person’s ears.
*Do not use the app while connected to an external audio source.
*This App is not tested on animals. Stop using the app if you notice any annoyed behavior from your pets when using it.

Since I've completed my fitting I can say, still, the app does its job flawlessly. I'm currently using skeleton molds as the hearing aids don't stay in my ears. I would, however, like the ability for the tone link app to be able to switch between zen+ programs, unless it's my hearing aids that are to blame. Other than that I'm happy.
This app I've only had for 5 days and it's now the second time I've had to uninstall then reinstall for it to work. Most frustrating since the volume in my hearing aid seems very low (despite a new battery put in). The rating of 3.8 didn't inspire confidence and I am waiting on my remote, which is on back order. Please fix this issue, as it is extremely annoying. Thank you.
If there was a word for less then basic, it would best discribe this app. No IQ, no noise reduction. Just adjusting volume and left and right? Not even the soundscapes are preinstalled. Not what I expect when I spend 4k on a set of hearing aids. This in a world of apps for anything.
Up until last Tuesday worked a treat but now won't open, I have tried uninstalling and powering off my mobile then switching it back on, re installing app and it still wo't work Anyone have any suggestions or different app that does the same thing, not happy! Now Friday and very happy to say problem fixed thanks, happy again now 😁
I have installed Tonelink and all the other programs on my phone and did not get any results from it. Not even picked up my hearing aid. According to me this is just a mony making racked. Please proof me wrong
This app was great for over a year, but they decide to updated today (bug fixes). Now I can't open the app. So much for bug fixes. App has now been fixed and is now working. Thank you
I just downloaded and went to set up. I have EvokeE-IM. the only QR codes i have ate on the box. One tag for each aid. It will not scan them. Can't set it up so i can't use it

I think it should show how much battery power is left so that we could prepare to change the battery when it actually dies. Otherwise some of us are sitting guessing how much is left
Since the update I am also unable to open the app. It is highly inconvenient as well as frustrating.
Can't bluetooth with app. Was better had alot of questions to make custom sound and now it just ask one and doesn't give me to sound I had better I went to doctor they did something and all of the custom programs just disappeared
Works as advertised with my samsung s10E, now I just wish the widex evoke app would work as well considering there are more control options
Why this app is not connecting aid via bluetooth in India ? Such a big brand but slow progress in the technology.
Crashes since update. Worked fine until recent update. Now the app wont open.
I had my aids checked and reprogrammed, and the firmware updated, now the app doesn't work.
This does not work with the CROS RIC/RITE E-FS model. I was disappointed because I used it with my WIDEX BEYOND.
It's the volume adjuster for my hearing aid . Very good .

it works really good.
I personally use this app as a Bluetooth connection, from my hearing aides, to my phone. Instruction manual and information passed on by my physician at Bloom Hearing very easy to follow and use. The app has a wide range of options, from volume adjustment, to full surround sound, front or back only sound receiving. You also have the option of only hearing from one ear, great for that selective hearing, when you can see the lips moving, but don't want to hear the words. Life changer. 5 out of 5.
