Long press makes it restart needs to be fixed

This normally supersedes the normal lockscreen unlike other lockscreen apps out there. Dev: Please change it so that long clicking on elements on the lockscreen when not in tool mode that it does not show a message. It shouldn't show anything at all if you long click on something. That would make this the perfect lockscreen app. Thank you. Update: all fixed perfect now
Bought the app after I saw all the reviews, but I was surprised to see that there is no PIN locking option in the app. Using the stock lockscreen with PIN brings that up when I unlock WidgetLocker. GoLocker has a nice built in PIN unlock that doesn't rely on stock lockscreen. It makes the WidgetLocker useless if I still have to rely on the stock lockscreen. Using Galaxy S4. 2 stars until that is fixed, I might decide to get a refund and get a premium skin for GoLocker instead.
I've loved this app for years, unfortunately like some other folks I find that now it constantly crashes out so I can't even configure it, let alone use it any more. Get it fixed and I'll give you ten stars outta five, there's no app even close when it works
It was a really good app until Android 5. Then I couldn't change the settings without the app crashing. Wrote to supplied address and was told they were aware and would fix it. That was Oct 5. I wrote again tiday and got an instant reply. There were changes at Tesla and the new head of Support is great. For now this app is orphaned so be careful before you buy.
Been using ever since I got my galaxy s2. Widgetlocker and Nova launcher are invariably the first things I download to my phone. It works extremely well and without any bugs or hiccups. The only things missing are security features like pin or pattern unlock. It would be absolutely perfect if they could be added.
I love everything about this app EXCEPT that the clock doesn't have a 24 hour setting and it can't display a date in Big-endian:yyyymmdd (military and ISO 8601 standard) or Little-endian:ddmmyyyy (government and almost all countries other than America) format. I will have to install another widget to get the right format.
The problem is it hasn't been updated since 2013 and since then android has changed. Biggest issue is the replacement of the default lockscreen. Most third-party lockscreens can do this easily without rooting. But widget locker still suffers from the home button 5 second rule. Besides this the app is amazing.
I used to love WidgetLocker used to clean crisp and fresh and now it looks so very dated. I wish that the developer would provide as much attention to WidgetLocker as they do with Nova Launcher. nova launcher is one of the best launchers to ever have bean on Android. please update WidgetLocker to bring it back to its former glory
launches tasker tasks without fail. No battery drain on Galaxy S3 i9300, however, widgetlocker can be skipped by mashing the Home key. Please update your app to prevent this, as it stops people using the app in any security related way. Edit: no updates in 3 years. Powerful apps like this deserve some attention. Development seems stalled.
there is a 1 - 1.5 sec delay when i lock my phone and then hit the home button to see my lock screen and this app drains the battery very quickly. However this app opens up a whole new world for customization and might be worth it to you if you really don't like your stock lockscreen
This was a good, versatile and extremely customisable lock screen... until support stopped years ago.. since then incompatibility grew and now it just crashes when you try to do anything with it. In its current state, it does not work as advertised. Steer clear.
I downloaded 3 different lock screen apps and this one seems to be the best for my desires. The one thing that I can't get to work is to keep the 'Popup Notifications' in front of widget locker when I turn my device on. The PN app wakes my device and I can see the message, but if I'm busy and want to see it later, then I have to unlock WL to get to the system lock screen where they are still displaying.
I love all of teslas work from nova launcher to widget locker, this app is almost perfect all I ask is for the option to allow the status bar to be transparent and a built in security feature, as using the stock security can make the device lag a buggy. So have emailed dev in relation to lag problem and no response or advice given, shame I really like this lock screen
## UPDATE - App has been Abandoned. No update since 2013. ## - Even with 1gb RAM this app is obviously hefty enough to push other idle apps from memory when the lockscreen appears. When i unlock, my browser, twitter, all has to reload from scratch, which doesnt happen with more lightweight lockscreens. I would suggest the developer concentrate heavily on memory use since it is a beautiful app in all other respects.
Loved it for the three or so years I used it on my HTC One M7. Recently upgraded to an LG G5, running Android Nougat. Widget Locker constantly crashes whenever I try to move or resize widgets, or try to change any settings. I really hope they update it to work with my phone but in the meantime it's unusable.
Constant crashes when trying to configure it in the Settings menu (can't enter any sub-menus). Unlocks to the stock Android Lock Screen (used to go straight to Pin Unlock, then previous app/home). Used to work great before upgrading
Seems to work good on three Kyocera phones I have running JB and KK. However, on Nexus 5 running 6.0 it force closes if you try to edit anything. Rather disappointed seeing as this is a paid Teslacoil app; if it had the attention that Nova gets I'd give 5.
This app like all Teslacoil apps works perfectly. If you like ultimate control without the hassel of rooting Nova launcher and widgetlocker is the only way to go. I only have one minor issue with wl I wish you could make the status/notification bar transparent as I can in Nova launcher.
Shame google let's them continue to sell this outdated app. I should be able to get a refund. USED to be the best screen app out there but you need to update it. Frustrating not to be able to configure certain things. Sad thing is that I would gladly pay another 10 bucks if you just updated it. So useful when it worked right. Developer said they were more interested in their other apps. Lame!
I installed on my S3 at the suggestion of a colleague. I had it installed on my very old Droid Incredible many years ago and had given up after seeing how laggy it was. Unfortunately, that hasn't changed. On the S3, it's laggier than ever. I like the utility of it though, so I'll give it 3 stars. Just can't keep it on my phone.
This app is the best custom lock screen replacement and well worth its price. Would love if Google have bought out this app and added to stock Android to replace its meager offering. It would be nice to have an option to make shortcut buttons to work after drag (as in stock locker)and not with simple touch.
Works great, except when headphones are connected, the lock/unlock sound still plays even in Vibrate mode. A fix would be greatly appreciated. I'm also concerned with the battery usage other users are mentioning, though it doesn't seem to be an issue for me.
I loved this app so much but the developer no longer keeps it updated (because of technical limitations) and it's become unstable on later versions of Android. This app was the perfect lockscreen and it still is on older devices! I'd definitely pay to see either this app updated or another developer .ake something similar (but I doubt we will ever see a lockscreen app as good as WidgetLocker again). I highly recommend TeslaCoil's other app (that is still being updated): Nova Launcher, its the best launcher app ever made!
