Will only work with older versions of Android. Looks good but needs updating to work with newer model phones. Cmon get this sorted so I can upgrade your rating

Piece of garbage app look at the date that the updated last it was 2017 that's messed up to be selling something that doesn't even work!!

Error message that reads "this application was written for older Android versions. Check for updates.

Don't know what all the fuss is about. Works perfectly on my Galaxy Note 10 + 5G and Swift Elegance 565 2019..

This app needs updating and is therefore useless

The app worked on my android phone originally. Now I get a black screen with no picture. Tried different apps, still nothing. Also, I set this up as a backup camera in my vehicle and wired power to the reverse lights. Every time I put the vehicle in park, I had to re-initiate the connection. I can't recommend the app or the product. The support has been non-existent.

I like this app, quickly connects, only 2 things that really need to be incorporated to make this app very good, and those changes would be as others have said, no1-app starts opens on signal and app shuts on signal loss (vital for car tablet installs) And no 2- on screen buttons auto hide. Hope the deleloper can incorporate these features, I patiently await this to make my car tablet install complete To anyone needing to auto connect to the wifi transmitter, I found an app in playstore called WiFi Connect ive been bench testing with tablet and wifi camera, simulating car power on off,after each wake auto connects to the cameras network without the need to manually do it (that was driving me insane) if only I could get the wifi avin app to open and shut automatically id be chuffed

Initial app works as expected. I am using this up in my Android screen in car for video input. Currently it little bit inconvient as each time I'd like to see camera I should manually connect to Wifi network and disconnect after done, otherwise 3G/4G network is not working for Internet. It would be good to make app little bit more advanced: 1. remember last wifi network SID used by camera (or option to save WIFI network name) 2. connect automatically to this network on opening up 3. disconnect from this wifi network on closing up

I did a test with a reversing camera. Connected quickly. The menu should disappear automatically. Video crops the top & bottom of a 4:3 picture to fit a 16:9 screen. A 16:9 is not right either. The picture, even with a very good video camera connected was not as good as I would like. These are possibly down to the video transmitter. It's no worse than a cheap GPS with AV-IN. I did notice about 1 second lag between movement in front of the camera and the screen. I could record the video. Playback in the app is wrong: it's squashed. Also could take a screen shot. The 802W transmitter has a good range, I had signal 20m, through a brick wall, no windows. I have yet to test in the real world, in car. I don't know what the difference is between WIFI AVIN & WIFI AVIN2. Real world testing: Menu will disappear if screen is tapped. Cam view can be resized with fingers. Lag appears to vary with distance from transmitter.

Initial testing seems to work ok. I really miss the option to rotate the screen. By default it is fixed to show the picture rotated on the phone.

This is due to the way newer versions of Android handle WiFi connections that don't have Internet access (like this device creates).

Fantastic app. Really works. No lag between Wifi transmitter and this app. Shows image in real time. Can't believe it's so good. Download it. You'd be crazy not to.

I wish the app would close when the transmitter shuts off. Other than that, it's a well-designed and easy to use app.

Will not connect to samsung or iphone or tablets

I am using a back up camera in the front of my truck so the image is reversed, please add a mirror function to flip image so camera can be mounted anywhere. Please please please! Thank you.

Nothing happend

App works fine with older android OS but does not with the newer ones. Please roll out new update for the new android OS
