WiFi Blocker - Router Parental Control -Block WiFi

You are unable to try this app without paying $7.99. This is a lot for an app that isn't supported on all routers. So basically you have pay to see if it will or not work. I'd give it a higher star rating if it would have given you a limited time to try or give you the ability to control a limited number of devices for free then charged to unlock full control or add additional features. This app does appear to be what I was looking for to bad I can't figure out if it would have worked.

Firstly, let's start with the fact that this is an excellent app. Powerful but intuitive, it quickly lets you get your household internet consumption under control. So for me it's an absolute winner! *Note* If you you re-install the app like I did it seems that you need to delete the app's cache after re-install or else the app will close on launch.

As soon as I downloaded the app, and I opened it without touching any additional settings, except for reading the T's and C's and the Privacy policy and pressing "accept and continue" and without actually using the app. My wifi completely stopped working on all devices (not only mine) and resetting and turning the router and cpe off and on multiple times still hasn't fixed it.

Bought the pro version. Worked sort of ok for a few weeks. I paused a tv and later wanted to unpause it. Now it doesn't pick the tv up at all. In the other menus it does but in the Block/Pause menu it doesn't see it so I can unpause it. And I know it used to work. Have done it a few times before when I restrict the tv time for the kids. Recommendation...stick to the internet suppliers own hardware. Seems their apps are beter for controlling Internet usage. Edited:Have to to set the app up again.

At the start the app did exactly what it was supposed to. I was really pleased. After about a month, it stopped blocking devices I had blocked. Devices would appear and disappear. Sometimes they wouldn't even show up. I would make them and then the names would revert back to device names so I would have to try and figure out which was which again. Now the app won't even load... Very frustrating!

Works flawlessly, very simple and quick to use app to control your Internet access for the family. There were no issues in setting up with a BT hub 6, my main use case was to block Wi-FI for the kids devices at certain times and have a quick feature for on demand control. This app does exactly that, you create personas for each user you wish to control and then associate all their devices to that persona from the list. Build your access schedules and you're done. It's very intuitive.

Do NOT get this app. I started using it then the devices I was "blocking" started having issues. Tried to clear all my data and now those device will NEVER connect to the internet. Tried deleting app, restarting and hard resetting router with no success. This app is horrible and now I have smart devices that are as dumb as this app.

Downloaded because it was compatible with my modm and wanted to limit online time for family. It showed the devices were blocked, however everyone could still use the wifi! did not work.

Poor response time to support email. App blocker crashes. Simple enough to use to block wifi for individual devices, but just doesn't do what they say it will. If you just want a blanket blocker this will do it, but not much good for anything more than that. Do not recommend.

Looks good but it did not work for me :( . Before purchase it I checked if my router was supported, but I thought that the firmware from the internet provider would make the things difficult and it made. I can see all the connected devices but, for the purpose I bought which was to block the wifi for the kid's gadgets, it did not work.

Works for me brilliant.... Just ensure the router is supported first.. Ie with free version the app connects and can see all devices.. Does this use snmp mib info to work? Also please remember some devices buffer so you might not see immediate effect until buffera runs out.. Many thanks great app now tbe missus cant keep to much of a tally on me with the smart ring doorbell haha

The only App that I have found that does exactly what it should with no additional hardware. I can now block any device easily from the app. The support has also been excellent when I had some initial problems with fast responses from the developer. Running a talktalk hg633 router and android phone for app.

Don't even bother with this, it does not work at all!! Even with a fully supported router!! Stated the device is blocked but it's not!! SCAM!! Requested a refund, Update it and I'll change my feedback.

I'm a father of 3 and face a daily battle to manage their WiFi use - I can either turn wifi off for everyone or not at all. This app seemed the perfect solution. After checking my router was supported it I downloaded, read instructions then paid to activate the blocker. Seemed very straightforward but doesn't actually restrict anyone's wifi use. Tells me devices are blocked but all are still online. Have emailed support twice without reply. Very disappointed as it seemed such a useful tool.

WASTE OF MONEY!! Wish I had listened to the other reviews, paid the £5.99 shock didn't work, went to the options to restore in app purchases that didn't work either, I want my money back!! This app needs to be taken down. People making money from junk that doesn't work.

Doesn't work for me. I'm quite techy, have named all my devices off their Mac addresses but the block function simply doesn't work. Bit of a pity as I see the work that's been put into it. On a NetComm router. Would like a refund

Been using this for several months now and am overall pleased with it. It works perfectly with my Arris router. Is there any way that it can be used remotely with port forwarding? That would make it complete for me.

Paid for the full app. Looks like it is what I need but I am not able to get to where you set schedules on my phone. I have an Amazon fire but the program will not work on that platform. So without being able to use scheduling it was basically a waste of money.

Worse app ever does not work at all. My router is listed as one they support and nothing happens contacted the app developer but had no reply. Had a quick refund through Google play leads me to believe that Google play have had to do a lot of refunds as they did not question my request for a refund

App doesn't work, all devices set-up but the app doesn't block anything. No tech support response so haven't been able to resolve the issue. Deleted the app, lost my money.

I read all the reviews bashing the app and still paid the $7.99 to get the premium features... Maybe worked for a day before it wouldn't let me manually block devices. Then it started automatically blocking access to the network for certain devices even though it said they weren't being blocked. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY FOLKS!

Haven't purchased yet, you should provide a 7 day trial so we can test it before purchasing. I'm not willing to pay for something that might not work. (App does look good and polished not willing to pay before trying full features. )

Unfortunately does not do what it says. It doesnt show half of the active devices in the house, and the ones it does pick up, it does not seem to block, either by device or by user profile. This is a gimmick.

Does not work, will not log into router despite the correct credentials. Does not offer username box I assume it's using something generic that won't allows you to change it. Poor design.

Rubbish...blocks devices but scheduler does not work at all despite our router being compatible. The scheduler symbol just stays grayed out no matter what I do. So to me the app is a waste of time
