Just what I was looking for. The interface isn't fancy and may take a few minutes to get used to. But it's simple and gets the job done. Best thing is it generates the heat map how I want it, that is a green to red gradient of color to represent decreasing signal strength based on your measurement points. Some other apps take you through complex scale measurements and still show you overlapping circles of a single color.
*Paid Pro app Overall, very pleased with the app. Has helped solved some very persistent wifi issues at my home and work. The only two complaints I have, is that the maps don't load on startup. I have poke around the app and come back, and they show up. Second is I keep getting phantom marks, when I am not touching the screen. Still, it's an indispensable app and has stunned my boss counterparts.
Great free wifi mapping app. It does one thing and one thing well! The touch interaction could be improved, and some additional features would be nice (image export, overlaying multiple ssids, etc.), But for simply just mapping out my home's wifi it saves me $50+ vs. other mapping software. Thanks!
Nifty. But pretty basic. Would love a better way to scale the map you import. And resize/remove the measurement markers. Also the controls are fiddly. Trying to zoom and move around your map ends up adding unwanted points of measurement.
Great Idea. But it can't remove x-mark when export. it's very sensitive when touch on the floor plan. I prefer manual record after choose/move the coordinate.
Buggy and extremely restricted. Camera feature doesn't work. You can't do almost anything without buying the premium version. Total garbage.
This developer commit fraud. They sold a premium version that had no ads or watermarks and have now retroactively taken away the thing I paid for by adding a big hideous watermark to my exports.
Great. Best I have ever used. Captures multiple WiFi signals at one time against a background drawing and produces HeatMap for each WiFi.
Good idea but doesnt work on Android 11, one plus 6t. Captures blank details.
Good and easy to use, but cannot re-enable points after you accidentally removed it
Does exactly what it's for and does it very easily and smoothly
Didn't show anything. Probably the update to Android 12 - wish I hadn't
Absolutely useless. Did not draw anything nor picked up any information.
Please wait, searching for wifi channels. Stuck there.
Doesn't work on 6t hangs at scanning for wifi channels
Really helps to optimally set positions of mesh router installations
it works and does the job
Not compatible with Android 9
Great little app to map your wifi around the house
Easy to use , looks great too
Searched WiFi for over 20 minutes. Still searching
Never completed the wifi scan. 😒
it takes too long to work. wait, it doesn't work. so...
does not work, gray screen on all tabs. is that fixable?
Fails to find Wi-Fi channels
Deleted it after 5 minutes. It doesn't work
Free version is limited to the point of being useless.
I didn't pay for anything. The premium version is now free. Anyways this could save me a lot of time if I was to want to have a heat map although I can analyze info by other means & display it graphically or numerically with more detail in short time this app is still useful because I can simply show others with the heat map why the router should go where it should. It reads signal quicker than requesting my system to analyze strength. App is light on system storage.
