For the first day you use it it is awesome and works perfectly. But in approximately a day or so they give you a five min. time limit and I really want to get on my xbox live to play call of duty. If anyone knows about any free mobile hotspot apps could you let me know it would really help
i am confused here i love this app ...the lite version runs perfectly on my devices and the app says it is compatible with my device no problems there...,so i bought a card for the sole purpose of upgrading to the pro version of this app.all of a sudden it says it is NOT compatible with my device and refuses to let me download the pro version. Google either let me download this pro app or refund my money please.this is bull..
I have the Samsung Galaxy S5 on 4.4.4. I tried all profiles. Nexus actually worked for a few seconds. I was able to get my Asus tf201 to connect and pull up the Asus website before it checked my subscription and turned it off. Keep up the testing. Your so very very close with it. By the way, the 5 min should start over if you don't use it all consecutively. Just saying it would be easier for us users to test for you. Let me know if I can help out. Would be one of the most revolutionary apps today. The problem and drawback is the 1-five minutes a day after trial. For that just make the trial unusable. 2- the ticket of $15.00 dollars is just way to much for an app that IS NOT self sustaining. It uses your data plan to operate so its outrageous. Recreate the app to use its own power and utilities a true hot spot and then its worth charging a monthly fee.
You should just make this free and unlimited because If phone companies decide to upgrade or change it so we cant use wifi applications then we wasted our money. I loved this app until I got my Galaxy Ring because its not supported. Fix all this and ill give 5 stars
Unable to tell if it works or not. The 'Lite' version is only active for 5 minutes and then you must wait 8 hours to try again. Could not connect to Windows 8 laptop in that 5 minutes and cannot figure out why. It might be a good application but I'll never know.
5 minutes a day isn't enough time to do anything, let alone get the stupid app to work. It's the closest I've gotten with any tether app to internet on my computer and it doesn't recognize the connection then tells me I'm out of time. I even turned my phone off then on again like the website said and that almost worked.. I don't feel like rooting either.
I recently bought a new phone my old phone had a pre installed hotspot and I fell in love cause I could use it for my tablet anytime I was pretty disappointed my new phone did not have any hotspot apps so I downloaded almost every app I cld find and only one of them worked...svtp I will say I was not happy with the fifteen dollar price tag but it works on my phone and it was a one time payment so I did it anyway and love that I have a hotspot again!!!
Ok folks this is the deal. This ap will work but on most phones you have to shut down and re start first. Don't check email or make a call or text. When your signal indicator shows your connected, start the Ap. It asks if you want to upgrade, click no. Then start ap. Uou must use the pro version! I have used it now for a year and a half 24/7. Good deal for 15 bucks! Got an outdoor wifi booster antenna and its faster than cable for netflix etc..my tablet is online 24/7 where ever I am.
You people who say $15 is to much are idiots. If the trial version works then buy the Pro version. I use over 39 gb of data a month. I have my dvd player with Netflix stream all the time. If I'm in the car my daughter has here galaxy tab 3 streaming netflix. My laptop is always connected through SVTP.This app is awesome. Turns my phone into an unlimited hotspot. 30 gb of data from at&t is $300. So a lot of you people have no clue what your talking about when complaining about a one time fee of $15.
Its a good hotspot for me but it says my phone carrier doesn't allow me to upgrade to the pro version. Had the trial and it was cool. Tried renaming SSID username and password like the help center said but it was a no go. If I had a carrier phone that would let me buy the upgrade version I would in a heartbeat.
An actual app that tethered my andriod 4.4.2 (Blu studio energy) phone to my windows 8.1 laptop through wifi. I have AT&T service. Easy to use. Keeps a count of data used during the session. This is a trial version though, and will only work one day. Then you must buy it for $14.99 which will also unlock the USB cable tether. Too expensive for me, but in a world of junk 'apps' it is refreshing to find a functioning program :)
The moment I selected "on" my galaxy note 2 immediately shut it down with a pop up stating I am not subscribed to hotspot. Don't know if it's my phone or if its sprint. Either way I'm not happy about it.
This app gave no problem when i was playing COD: GHOSTS. It didn't give up on me. The app let me make my own network and password I LOVE IT! I wish it gave you a longer trail I only have two days :(
Trial version? I ran this app for a day then... WHAM! Hit with a spiffy new timing device. The funny thing about this app is that my tablet has no data plan, yet others can connect to me if I'm on WiFi. Word to the wise this app is how someone can use u to get around a WiFi password. Always set one! Its a cool app but it has suspect qualities. Be careful.
After app update its cuts out with no notice. Ive paid money for an app to work. Now it doesn't. Waste of time and money i dont have
I downloaded it for my LG phone it just freezing up with a black screen it's a waste of your money so people with LG phone please don't waste your time with it I found out the hard way and do want u to go through what I did so don't download it
Turn on and immediately will turn off. I need to find something besides Foxfi so I guess I will keep looking elsewhere.
This app worked great with my last phone so I bought the pro , everything was GREAT,, Untill I bought my LG ,Now this app will not load I get nothing but black screen... I hope you guys fix these issues....Thanx for all you guys hard work.
I personally think this is an EXTREMELY awesome app. Way to go guys. Two thumbs up. My phone does NOT have hotspots. After downloading app after app and getting super frustrated, I came across this app. This was the ONLY application I found that would actually put off a hotspots signal. Great for my ps3. Sometimes it is kind of slow but to be honest I think it is my phone. Not the app. If you have wifi but not the ability to generate a hotspots, this is the app which will allow you do so!!!!!
Going to assume it doesnt work with my phone cause the screen just goes black and my phone freezes. I miss FoxFi.
Wifi hotsoot does not work for galaxy mega note 2 or 3. Usb tether does work but this only allows you to use it for 5 mins before being forced to oay $14.99 for the lro version. Do not recommend. Go to junefabrics do t com . Pdanet is also a good one
