The app works as advertised, but it is tedious to use. A simple feature of "download all photos and delete" would save me time (out in the freezing cold). As the app is, you have to scroll through the pictures a page at a time and download them. Then you have to repeat the process of scolling through the photos to delete them. I would pay double for a camera option that is setup (PPOE) on my home wifi and allows me to manage the camera from anywhere. Please consider these improvements!
I'd previously given this app a single star because it failed to automatically connect to my phone even though it would state it was connected. I've had to change my phone and tried the app again, this time it failed to connect automatically at all so I tried manually adding the SSID. This address is shown on the camera screen when in WiFi mode, entered this and it connected and worked. So if you're being told your connected but nothing is working try adding the SSID manually.
App sometimes take awhile to connect but not a real problem. Selecting in local requires a tap and hold for a few seconds. The worst thing about this app is if you delete from the camera and not the local the app will reuse the file number and over write the files on the local when down loaded. I have lost some really good photos and videos that way.
Excellent app! Efficient and easy to use. I was able to use app to connect to trail cam via camera's onboard Wifi hotspot easily. Function of app is simple: view camera live and capture stills or video, remotely access images and video on camera's sd card, and adjust camera settings. App is a more user-friendly interface for camera settings than hard buttons on device. Couldn't figure out how to find downloaded files at first. Customer service response was quick and easily answered my question.
When I'm at my house, my phone connects to the camera's wifi, but the app won't acknowledge that the phone is connected to the wifi or allow me to connect to the camera - it tells me I am not connected. I have to restart everything multiple time for it to work. When I go into the woods, the app won't connect to the wifi or the camera no matter how many times I restart it. I know the problem is with the app because my wife's iPhone doesn't have these problems and works every time.
I downloaded this app as directed by the instructions received with the Toguard H85 camera. It didn't perform as stated in the instructions and I struggled to get any connectivity via bluetooth and had to physically open the camera to achieve a wi-fi connection. Very frustrating! HOWEVER.... I then uninstalled this app and tried the alternative app from the same company (Hunting Camera Pro, not mentioned in the instructions) and this works fine, the bluetooth initiates the wi-fi correctly.
Hangs up when I try to download more than a couple of pictures or videos at a time. Some download but others stop at 99%. The "all" button selects all but then the same issues occur and after a few tries the app crashes.
Airplane mode! Brand new, fresh batteries, Wifi connected. but the app wouldn't connect. A reviewer of the Campark trail camera on Amazon mentioned putting the phone into airplane mode then connecting Wifi, then starting app and it connected right away.
Followed the instructions that came with my game cam and it set right up. It is limited in distance but better than nothing. Nice app to give access to the camera settings without having to open the unit and scroll thru menu options.
Maddening. The camera's wifi signal is strong, I am connected to it, but the app tells me it can't connect to the camera and sends me to my wifi settings. I think out of dozens of tries I have gotten to the camera 2 times.
App stops all the time. Pictures are difficult to move from the app local album to any other album. Can not select. All photos then share. Have to do share one at a time.
Does NOT do what is promised. Camera had link to this app and app will not connect to camera despite strong phone WiFi connection to the camera. This bootleg app says no wifi connection to the camera even though there is. Waste of storage, data use, and time.
App has many issues. The biggest issue is file transfer. You cannot select all new files, only the ones you see in your screen.
No option to where the files save and if the files have same name, it automatically overwrites the previous file. Other than that, works as intended.
Will not connect to Pixel phone. Contacted Campark for assistance. Their response? They just copied and pasted from the instruction manual, which I already have and was no help. It connects fine to an apple phone everytime but not Pixel. I own a Pixel. Hopefully, a fix will come soon. To retrieve pics you must remove SD card and view on computer.
Pretty good, but has some hiccups While you can download photos to the app, they only rately get saved in Gallery or Google Photos. Not the most intuitive interface but still works well.
App is piece of junk. If trying to download pictures from camera using wifi, it downloads about 10, then stops working. Very frustrating to have bring the camera inside to download pics using PC.
Does not have Bluetooth. 'Hunting Camera Pro' is actually the app in the screenshots in my Toguard H85 manual. This allows remote download via Bluetooth (within range)
Clunky. Basic. Crashes. Difficult to save photos etc and move them. No scroll facility to view images.
Rtfm people! Good app on the whole. Yes it crashes from time to time.... how much did you pay for it? Oh....it was free? 😲 If you need to keep the camera in situ why not take the memory card out to use in your pc? 1st world problems. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
App worked well until my samsumg mobile died and i changed it for an identical samsung model. App wouldnt connnect to camera wifi. Saw previous reviewers comments about putting phone on airplane mode and that fixed it ... after 3 frustrating months.
Wifi linked to camera, app wouldnt open unless I restared my phone. Cannot tell it where to download photos, cannot zoom in on photos. App made wifi camera pointless.
Crashes all the time. Need to increment file numbers on camera and not reset each record schedule. Overwrites existing files when transferring requiring renaming first.
Camera creates hot spot and phone connects ok but app says no wifi. Poor app has no other options for settings or help.
Simply didn't work. Connects to the camera WIFI and then does NOTHING. Pointless, did you miss a line of code??

Screen on device states that it is connected with my cell phone. From the App on my Motorola cell phone no function is accessible.
Brand new camera, strong wifi signal, app always says it to check wifi because no camera found. What a garbage app.
Why does the "select all" button select only the visible section and not all? Quite unintuitive!
Read the manual first before using it. You have to be within 20ft or so of the camera for it to connect. The camera needs wifi enabled (slide the switch to SETUP and press WIFI for the initial pairing), and then wifi will go to sleep so you need to click that button on the remote to wake up the camera. Following the instructions has worked flawlessly for me so far. You also need fresh batteries. It's really no different from your phone in power saving mode. If you're using cheap or old batteries, it's just not going to work well. I agree with other posters that the download feature is weird and wonky at times. I kinda expected pictures to "just download" and so having to select them first seems like an extra step. It doesn't break the experience. What is awesome is the real time preview. Not only is it cool to be able to check on the camera if you're curious, but the real time streaming video from the camera via the app makes it incredibly easy to setup for that perfect framing.
