Browsing videos through twonky network (Lacie d2) fails to display most movies. E.g jkl does not display k and l movies. Same when all is selected. DLNA video player is supported however there is no metadata external subtitle support. Thanks
Does what it says on the tin but just a little fiddly and doesn't find all media available on server
music stops playing when display turns off; resumes only after manually turning the display back on. doesn't recognize flac files.

this is what we need for streaming
Great app for streaming music from my local network media server to my Galaxy S2 in local play mode. Unfortunately my new Galaxy S5 remaps the left button and I cannot get to local play mode. Hope it can be fixed for this excellent application.

Trying to find an app to play local video to chromecast. This won't do it and had a lot of ads and menus. It's free so I can understand.

The new update made it unusable. Uninstall and look for something else...
After experimenting, I was able to play YouTube videos from my N7 tablet to tv. There is no proper instructions, what you did on the video didn't worked for me as I had trouble getting the source or using my Nexus 7 as the source itself (it was trying to make Imediashare the source! Wth) . The only distinctive trait this app had was using my tablet as a remote for streaming videos from YouTube but I still wasn't able to stream my downloaded flv movies to my TV. This app still has a lot of potential.
Its enjoyful for the design while streaming my NAS
Works like a charm with my nexus 7 and IPdio (reciva tuner). I can access my NAS and stream music on my IPdio using my tablet. Most UPnP players don't see the reciva tuner. Little critism: it would be nice to see album covers instead of the default folder icon.
A very good app using it between my S3 and DS 413 only thing is it doesn't seem to see all the video files in large libraries.I don't have a problem with large music files. if it wasn't for this I'd give it 5
