Please note: your device need to have gps in order to run this app as the app tries to remember your access point locations. In the future this information can be used to display the RF coverage for all your access points.
If you have any problem in using the app, I would appreciate it very much if you would contact me and give me a chance to fix your problem. Android has gone through many software and hardware changes therefore it is possible that there are some compatibility between different versions. Please let me know so that I can fix it and make the app better instead of just giving the app a poor rating. Thanks!

Cool app as it shows you the necessary info to set up a good wifi coverage around.
Told me everything i needed to know and then some, make your router settings Personal and optimise your wifi based on facts. Works flawlessly thanks devs
All text is too small even on nexus 5. No AP MAC addresses shown (needed for multiple APs with same SSIDs and/or same channel). WiFi Analyzer by farproc is much better
But it would be nice to show an average. Start scanning, and only update the average on the screen. Have a refresh button that clears out previous scanned data. This would allow you to get a more realistic look at the channel availability over time, rather than at any instant, since that can fluctuate significantly. Also, channel limit options would be good. My router only goes to channel 11 and the app frequently recommends channel 13.
I'm not terribly technical, but I do know how to change my router's WiFi channel. The problem is, I don't know which channel to choose! This neat app solves my problem. I can walk the area around searching for interference, and therefore discover the channel with the least interference. One small problem: some of the text is tiny, and so you need either excellent eyesight or to enable Accessibility > Magnification Gestures.
It is working smoothly on my samsung 3100 Tab 2. Please download it is a real wifi optimizer. Thank you developers.
Simply perfect! Works with both 2Ghz and 5 Ghz networks. Great application for analysis of WiFi signals and review of all scanned WiFi settings. This application doesn't miss a type of review of both 2Ghz and 5Ghz networks. I recommend trying it out and then comment on how you like it as well. Cheers to the developer!
More informative then most, coukd use a little work the graphs and linking. More setting options to control and more save options but other then that simply good enough.
Wifi Optimizer is a wonderful app. If there was a payed version with more features I would buy it right away

App great to identify congested channels
Very useful app for WiFi deployment
Pros: provided great detail on the scan interface. Traffic tab was detailed and helpful as well. Cons: while channel suggestion is great idea, it suggested a channel not suitable for U.S. wifi standards GPS sketchy at best. It started with my address and then switched to a random address in a different town. Figured out it was my land lords address. Odd. Main screen becomes cluttered and illegible if there are more than a few wireless networks around.
PERFECT! This is what i needed to take my network off everyone else. It is stronger then everyone else so it should cause other people.less of a headache.
Crashes constantly on a samsung note pro making the app unusable.
Shows a lot of useful information about neighbouring channels. Good tool for site survey.
Wants turn on GPS! ! & NO N
It does not optimize anything. It gives you info like other apps which channels are giving you interference but neither it changes or optimizes your settings. It recommends channels I don't have access to or doesn't exist eg. 13 App is no better or worse than other similar apps.
