First I've been using this app for 5+ years. Now I see the latest and greatest versions that have come out have ads. Just like others have said this app is very slow and takes up a lot of CPU resources. And the battery as well. So naturally I went looking for and wouldn't you be surprised the older versions work better. Well the ads are getting bigger with each and every update. I guess that brings in more money. Since the pandemic started I noticed developers have gone in this direction.
the app wants you to put it on a channel that is not Channel 1 channel 6 or Channel 11 I was told by my ISP that that's the only channels you should use because the other channels interfere with everyone else's Wi-Fi in slow yours. everything else and it's app works great except that channel analyzer.
The free version does exactly what you need. But, I refunded the paid version because the only reason I bought it was to use the shortcuts and they don't even work. Maybe a patch in the future will bring my purchase back. Good app though.
Useful to understand what is going on around you in the invisible world of WiFi... I used this to lock my router to a specific channel and slow it down. Throughput for older 2.4Ghz devices improved dramatically. Headline speed isn't everything!!!
WIFI OVER 360 HAVE MULTIPLE USEFUL FEATURES. I USE IT TO LOCATE CLOSES POSTION TO HOTSPOT ROUTER(WIFI); THEREFORE, MY WIFI GVOICE CALLS ARE HIGHER QUALITY. BATTERY USAGE SINCE LAST FULL CHARGE=0%. THE APP CAN BE RESTRICTED FROM USING BATTERY IN BACKGROUND, BUT FOR ME IT IS NOT NEEDED. ON THE OTHEIR HAND, UNREADABLE OVER LAPPING ALPHA' & NUMERICS (WIFI INFO SECTION) HAVE NOT BEEN FIXED EVER SINCE I STARTED USING THE APP.
The modern versions have a bad taste in my mouth nowadays, like the emoticons gone since 2015. I'm using an older version of this from Aptoide. Also I agree with most; this uses a lot of CPU. The version I got from Aptoide was from 2015, with no CPU or battery problems whatsoever.
Ads ...buy pro version. $4.49. wish it was a little less expensive...1.99
Overly aggressive ads. Wants to manage phone calls. This app years ago was a good app. There are now better apps that are not so aggressive with adds and permissions and offer better features.
I use the pro version for more than a year. Excellent app! Invaluable in home wifi setup, including mesh, and solving problems.
Useful, but likes to run in background when ever you start your device up. No explanation of why it's doing this. There are many other applications out there that will do same job, use them instead.
Love the layout and options compared to like applications I've tried. Easy to use and information is all very relevant. Great job guys!
Drains battery too much, starting in the background. Bloated with adds. At lrast does what it says, but I'll uninstall and look for another app.
Was useful, but last several months it became battery drain. Found out accidentally since Android showed Google Play Services as the cause.
