Does YouRoam use my regular minutes? YouRoam does not use your minutes for outbound calls. If you use it to receive calls by forwarding your phone number to YouRoam, carriers typically deduct the minutes you spend on forwarded calls against your monthly minutes. However, since YouRoam provides you with a local telephone number, you will not face large international roaming fees while making and receiving calls abroad if you call through YouRoam.

I have no cell signal at work, so I recently installed this app. The process to setup on my phone was simple and fast. I made a few test calls at home to and from my cell phone. It worked fine until I tried it at work. After forwarding my number, I tried making more test calls. Calls to my cell phone never came through. Calls from my cell phone kept giving me a "You are offline" message. I was online with a strong signal. I emailed them and they suggested I turn off the data on my phone, restart the app and it should work, and make sure I'm not having a firewall issue on the work wifi. The app still wouldn't work. All of my other apps work on that wifi, including Google Voice, so I'd say a firewall isn't the issue. I emailed them the results and asked for more help twice. They didn't respond. Install if you want. It might actually work for you. I wouldn't buy any credits until you know it will.
I get confirmation codes it will not accept the code.. Now it's telling me that it cannot confirm my phone number
I need to make report I purchased acredit but they didn't give to me and I lost my money please don't install
Paid for minutes but wouldn't load in the app. Repeatedly tried to forward number to no avail. Emailed Support to resolve these issues with absolutely no response. I would have been happy to give a positive review but obviously the app developer and service really don't care. To make matters worse they are receiving money from well meaning app users with no remorse for the lack of functionality. $5.00 may not seem like much money but it adds up in their coffers!
Wants to call our contacts. Wants to verify my phone number, but it says phone number not Good. I can't see a problem with it. It won't tell me why.
Seems to be a common issue, but I put $4.99 and it's been a lil while and it's still not showing up. I've tried restarting the app and the phone. Sure came out of my bank account quickly, though.

The concept is great! But App doesn't work. I can't even get a confirmation code to sign up. The App also hasn't been updated in almost 2 years. This leads me to believe that the developer has given up on it...

Huge savings if you ever roam out of your home cell market. Sound quality is just as good a cell call and often better. Wish I'd found it sooner.

1st. I could make calls with good quality b4 I forwarded my number. Now that I forwarded my number. I can't make any more calls and when someone calls me it hangs up when I answere. I tried to remove call waiting but all it does in the app is call my voice mail instead of turning off call forwarding.
