WiFi-Pro 2 is a network intercom, allowing you to receive video and audio calls anywhere your phone has network reception or WiFi access.
These are some of the features of the WiFi Pro 2
1 You can view any activity outside your gates at any time
2 Take pictures and videos of the area outside your gate or visitors.
3 When a visitor presses the call button it will make a video call to your smart phone.
4 You can then allow them access to your home by pressing the unlock button on the
phone screen

Finally spoke to someone at support. Their chat function on the page is a very good way to get a quick response. They were able to solve my issues immediately. The time code was wrong on the intercom that caused it to not notify the app correctly. This can happen after power loss etc. Definitely worth checking if your having issues. Apparently they will release a video soon to show how to fix. Now it's working really well. Thank you AES! ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW.... Simply doesn't work. I can connect and open the gates, but it never rings on my device. The two times it did, by the time it connected and I tried to speak, the person had left. Software is extremely basic with a horrendous interface, especially for settings. I am running latest version and intercom on latest firmware. I wish I had never purchased an AES intercom. In reply to AES global. Yes. They never get back to me. EDIT Yes, I've tried 3 times to contact support and never get a reply.

Terrible app. Frequently doesn't work, won't send notifications. It's not just android either, we have it on 2 android phones (s20+) and iphones and an iPad. Currently, none of them will ring unless the app is actually on the screen. Not only that, but the basic interface is so bad (the buttons are icons with no title, no way to know what they do without reading the manual).

Cool in theory but never works - so many people ring the bell but I'm never notified - all leave ticked. Now I'm stuck with this and no alternative to easily replace. I've called support and they're very cool - we have temporarily fixed the issue but the fix never lasts. All settings are correct on my phone. This is the worst functioning product I've ever used. I work in technology and would ashamed to launch a product like this. I have no idea how to proceed aside from full replacement

no push notification for Samsung note 8 unless the app is open and the phone is open, looking at the app. it works fine with the iPads. please update update: Everything is current. I've even set up the sytem again. still have the same problems. hopefully there's a patch in the works. UPDATE: I'm very disappointed. I have emailed several times as you suggested and I have yet to hear back. Please provide feedback on how to ensure push notifications go through on newer Samsung products.

Flakey app. Especially considering that it is the only way to use the AES intercom hardware. Crashes a lot and sometime it opens when ringing but you can not answer the call. If you then try to manually talk to them you can not. Needs work for sure. Also Would be good if it rang on the phone for as long as it did on the intercom

Absolute Garbage The installer and I along with tech support have been working for 11 months now trying to get this terrible system working. All settings and versions up to date. I even have the internet connection hard wired (strong internet connection). They blamed it on my Android phone, so I wasted $800 on a new iPhone, still doesn’t work. All the same issues as others have mentioned: -Hit and miss, if I even get a call notification at all. -often disconnects -Long delays between visitors pushing the button and getting the notification, most people especially delivery drivers leave. -When it rarely does connect there are 5 and 10 second delays in the audio -volume is very low, can barely hear the people at the intercom, even with volume settings at max. -the app itself is un-intuitive and very amateur built. -takes about 20 seconds to even open the app and answer a call. -the app drains your phone battery quickly. Tech support has blamed me and my phone or internet connection for the issues. I had an electrician come and test everything and signal strength is strong on everything. AES and the installer are finally out of excuses and have given up. They actually suggested I return the intercom and search out another brand. So looks like I have wasted a year and now I have to start over again researching another system to install. You have been warned, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT, I really don’t want anyone to waste as much time and money on this terrible product as I have. If anyone has any suggestions for another brand that ACTUALLY works as described PLEASE post a comment.

Doesnt work. I have ensured every setting on my phone is correct. All permissions are turned on & I've even allowed it to run in background but it still doesnt work. The area rep that sells this equipment to the gate installer has even been by to help us try & resolve issues with no luck. The app will ring sometimes but then others will not. We have missed countless deliveries,havent been able to let yard crew, housekeepers, etc in when not at home. Wish I could write more out of room.. awful!!

More problems than anything. It stopped working for awhile then finally worked. The app itself looks like it was the first app ever made for a smart phone. Half the time the notification doesn't make a sound and I miss the person that rings the intercom. Definitely needs an update.

Terrible app.. Software so bad don't get aes predator. It does NOT take a picture when someone rings unless you do it manually and what they say in their answer is Not true. No history of anyone ringing. . Every time the app corrupts you have to open the physical box on the wall to re-install. It takes more than 40 seconds to open the app when someone rings and then they have gone. This is an app with the look and feel of 1980s.. Its a developers disgrace... Keep away.. Wish I had!

Very unreliable app solution. The app keeps on crashing and therefore are missing deliveries/visitors. Interface is really bad. If hadn't already spent thousands on this, would have ripped it out and replaced with a more reliable solution. The system itself is fine but the app completely lets it down.

Nothing but problems! intercom is no longer able to connect to any phones. Have had to reset power to the unit, this temporarily fixes the problem. After a day or so can no longer connect again. Latest firmware is installed on predator 2. Called AES for support and they could not assist me as I was not a qualified installer, yet last time I spoke to them they talked me through upgrading the firmware. since the upgrade it is worse than ever, at lwase before my wife Iphone worked!

App is in need of a total redesign. Layout, programming and functionality behind the times, just look at the logo. Keyfob unable to be programmed to in vehicle garage door buttons is a downside. Time won't stay updated. Customer service never responds to emails.

Had the app for about 2 years. Has generally been fine until the last month or so. Stopped receiving any notifications from the app. Checked all my settings and no reason for notifications to be blocked. Very unsatisfactory

The worst app and experience. The app keeps failing with password errors. Once reset it only works for a limited amount of time. Seems like customer support can only help if you are an installer and availability is very poor. Really one of the worst experiences!

Appalling app Upgraded control access box is useless due to this app which crashes with all manner of errors constantly. My only regret is not believing the reviews. I am having control box removed and replaced with simpler, dependable pad. I wanted this to work but it is grossly oversold as a solution.

After a troublesome startup, app and Viking gate system working 100%. Big improvement came when updated BFT firmware via the app option. Called tech support 3 times and someone answered my questions. System relies on the quality of your internet connection both at the gate and your phone to a local cell tower. A poor connection at either end, app will not work. Push notifications are working fine on my Samsung S8 using a 4G LTE cell network. Review is on version 6.3.

App is garbage & incredibly frustrating. Constantly crashes, never actually calls our phones when someone pushes 'call' button on entrance box, functionality is limited and impossible to get any tech support. Only wish I would've had access to these reviews before I bought BFT controller & was forced into using this app because the other awful reviews are accurate. Why a company would skimp on the app that is effectively the user experience, is beyond me.

Alert ring still happens when notifications disabled, it treats the ring as a media playback, not a notification. Thus, if you have the phone on silent, but media playback volume is up, the ring comes through. Very unsatisfactory, I dont need it ringing when I have disabled notifications.

intercom only calls my phone sometimes (galaxy Note 9). got 100% wifi signal on intercom. Video quality is poor. seems to work better if app runs in background all the time but this drains battery. intercom doesn't automatically take snapshots or video clips of caller.

This product does not work well. Sometimes it rings, sometimes it doesn't. I've paid the installer a restock fee and I'm putting in a basic call box. The technology is not there yet from what I can tell. Highly disappointed.

App stuck on Silent!!!! Even after changing the Sound setting in the app it reverts to Silent. I've tried new sounds, new themes, uninstall, reinstall..nothing works. I can't hear people pressing the intercom . Very unhappy with this app. If the Devs are reading this please suggest something

Since v5.8 this app no longer works on older Android devices, I have two that run 4.0.4 which should work as you state min requirement is 4.0.3 however whenever you try to launch the app it says "Unfortunately Wifi Pro 2 has stopped working". This is really annoying. Can you provide further help with this please?

So many issues I'm ready to have the gate removed. Now App just keeps stopping. Had to replace board in main unit. Communications between components and app on our phones is not good...been more than a year with ongoing problems.

Great system but the app simply does not work fully. 3 phones registered and we still regularly miss callers and deliveries. This needs resolving. This IS the update. 5.8 So no we're on version 5.9 Useless still. Here we are on 6.3. Was finally working but you push another small update and lo and behold back to no ringing on devices at all. Support is non-existent. Who tests this rubbish? Or do your Devs just push updates live with no oversight? I can feel a class action coming on.

App is rubbish intermittently works, have to remove intercom ID and reset to get it to start to contact phone again. This sometimes fixes the fault if this fails have to remove app and reinstall. Had problems since day one June 2018.

Just does not work. Defaults to silent on all devices. Waste of money and am about to have a hard-wired system installed. The developers have clearly known about the issue for a long time but continue to market it - shame on you. Any gate installers out there, please do not use this system.

i dont normally leave reviews but after reading the previous ones from all the keyboard worriors ! felt i had to. Took me a few hours to get used to it, gerting the settings right, but now works a treat. Great to be able to see who's calling and talk to them if i want. Obviously some users dont go to the bother of finding out how the thing actually works and how to use the app, which seems stupid considering how much the intercom costs. People! RTFM! love this thing.
