It does it's job decently, better than most and SIMPLE/unbloated. It has one annoying behavior tho; you have tobe connected, not sure why.. ( :'[ ie. I cant just check signal strength of all/any networks in range.) What more can i say? Except itd be nice to get some REAL Elec.Engr waveform antrnna data, like Airsnort or my old frequency analyzer from the late 90s. A history would be nice. Very nice. If just a plain text doc it, or anyone, can read.
simple, useful, ads are not a bother, does not ask for too many permissions. a great little app that did exactly what I needed. I just opened the app and walked around the house watching the nice big meter go up and down, then moved the router a little, walked around the house again, then turned the router sideways, problem solved.
I give this app 5 stars because it helped me easily locate my router (could not go far), and antennnas positions, to where my 5g signal was about 10% stronger. Now I don't loose connection. Good job. The "large" signal strength display gives the app the advantage. I am not interested in the distance, because obstructions, and their materials, affect the signal way more than distance. If there is a paid version, I'll buy, just for this one job experience. Thanks.
App is "ok". I am 10m away from my strong signal gateway/router. The app shows that I am .7m away, yes about 2 feet 3.5 inches, and my signal is 76%-91% and varies a lot without moving. The app DOES show that holding my phone at the bottom improves my signal by 12%, which is good.
Works fine for me. Suggestion, if possible is there a way to also test actual data transfer rates? I am finding that good signal strength and link speed does not equal good data transfer rates. Thanks.
Did exactly what I needed it to do. It's fairly simple, but seems to be very accurate. I needed to know, simply, how strong my wifi signal was from various points in my house. This app told me precisely that. I would highly recommend.
Does its job. Would like to see channels listed as well. But the interface is clean. Had it on my phone's now for a few years without any issues.
Does exactly as advertised. Extremely easy to use, unincumbered with needless drivel, and tells me exactly my Wi-Fi strength. Highly recommended.!
The actual app works well but the spontaneous video ads that randomly take over and block the whole screen has prompted me to uninstall immediately. That's why you get one star unfortunately.
Can only test the wifi to which you're connected. Must physically switch to another wifi device if you wsnt to test them. Contains ads and POPUPS. Ads are enough, don't get greedy.
My router has "Signal Strength" settings, was able to check if it does anything (yes, it does). And the App does it's job as well.
Hello please boost the WiFi signal distance of 418.20m because sometimes reconnecting and poor signal. Im gonna rate 5 stars and highly appreciated if you fix something about this.
Blank screen, no data. At least the ads are reasonable.
Very good , idiot proof , easy to use. No annoying ads, just tiny unobtrusive ads far below, and won't have ads on exit app. Good!
nice little toy. distance is totally off. assuming it uses signal strength somehow but it assumes weak signal. sitting, line-of-sight about 2.5-3m away and its saying I'm 13cm away.
Inappropriate claims on its Google play store page that "Wi-Fi strength IS MORE than a test"; yet all this app did was measure speed, no other options or settings. That is an instant UNINSTALL.
Minimal ads, straightforward, super quick Used this to adjust my accesspoint to provide the best coverage possible for my gaming pc.
Test a few similar apps and this is the best. Simple yet very informative and even indicate the distance from signal source.
Good work bro!keep it up. Please add the speed and strength on status bar feature in next update. That would be a great addition.
not a bad app I give it five cuz it says and does exactly the same. this can be used on your home Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi out in public it helped me to detedetermine Starbucks Wi-Fi distance.
Nice and simple, however, it is not very accurate with the distance. im standing directly 25 ft away and ut says 4 ft. Also, why does it not recognize when im next to a D-Link repeater?
helps with determining the wifi signal strength just as it says. simple yet precise.
Good, simple app to show what your wifi signal strength is as you walk throughout the house.
Works just like they say it will. Tried it at my friends place also where the box is visible.....worked perfectly.
awesome app, just wish there was some way I can pay to have at ADS blocked. very inconvenient when working
Well...I've learned a few more wavelength terms like, dBm and asu. I've learned exactly what distance (in feet/inches) the signal has to travel to get to me. However...I don't have alot to go on (proof) as I'm writing this review. I need more time, I think, to discern exactly what it is that I need to strengthen and secure my Wi-Fi signal. I'm probably going to be heading towards, 'PVN'. I love a secure (corporate) network.
