used this for years. Rooted and everything. one day I went to use it and the send receive yellow numbers wouldn't show and I had to re turn off always allow scanning even though I never touched it. running note 3 on kit kat. Now it doesn't work. it connects with no internet. has to be a setting in my phone. is it in developing options?
Great app. Best wifi hotspot app I've found, & I've tried many! (Of course, it only works on rooted phones.) If you have root & want a portable wifi to take anywhere, this is the app for you. However with my phone provider, Metro PCS, on T-Mobile network, I have to start my VPN first before starting Tether Router. (And under settings, the "VPN Route" must be checked.) then wifi works fine. If no VPN running, metro blocks signal. ( They want you to buy their wifi, so they make more money!) Enjoy!

I have never been able to get this after work on any of my phones. Also I have the S10 Galaxy Xenos version. And it will not work on this one either. Its android 10 by the way. But if you are able to get this to work on S10 plus Xi nos. And I would be more than happy to change this to a 5 star rating. I just feel really gypped since that never works on any of my phones. Fabio Grasso simply does NOT care. Unfortunately, this app was once great before November 2018. An update, that Fabio claims was forced, ruined all functionality of this app which was paid for. The first time Fabio troubleshooted, he determined that my firmware was corrupted and I needed to re root my phone. I have re rooted and since then, I am having the same exact problem 5 months prior. Now the problem is Fabio doesn't know what's wrong or he just doesn't care because he doesn't respond.
This app is absolutely a disgrace with absolutely no indication of integrity nor validation to the operations it undertakes on your device. 1. It failed to create an AP, sometimes claiming it was up and running. 2. Eventually, my phone randomly rebooted and left corrupted beyond repair. Only option is to completely factory reset my phone.
great app, but is there a way to maximize speed from mobile? my 4glte is fast but when cone feed to the tethering app it barely gives off enough speed than my device.
used to work on my note 4, then it quit working. Doesn't work on my new OP6 running Pie and rooted. Pretty much useless now. Guess it's too hard to make an app that can change packets to fool carrier now.
Update 4/11:The app is working fantastic now. Fabio manage to solve my problem after several attempts. Fabio after sale service is superb. Update 2/11:I drop u an email on some issue. Kindly look into it and help me solve it. Best app all this while
This program is quite unreliable. It often doesn't work and when it does it is Unbelievably slow and prone to failure.
This is my favorite android app. I love you, developer. You have saved me so much money with this little chunk of code that i would have happily paid 3x what you were asking for it years ago when i purchased it. This app finds it's way onto every single android device i've owned. You can bypass your bandwidth cap with this. You can wifi tether on any carrier exactly the way you deserve to. This thing is so versatile too. It has basically every wireless tethering protocol i guess. you can use hostapd which is the linux daemon for ad-hoc networking. I typically stick with this if possible but because different devices are designed with many different chipsets, one method will not suffice for them all. Some carriers have disabled native tethering software also. I do not understand why customers who are paying (often very high rates) for service are not free to do with their bandwidth and access as they please. This is simply a strong-arm business tactic to milk you for bandwidth fees on top of your "unlimited" plan. in an ideal world, these companies have no business curating your activities as long as you're not doing anything dangerous or immoral. I pay you for a 4G data connection, give me a 4G data connection and mind your business. Hey devs, you guys let me know if there's ever anything i can help you guys out with because i got your back. I mean that too. You have set me free from the bonds of shady business tactics weilded by unethical companies who are more than just willing to exploit us in each and every single way that they possibly can. You guys rock and I will punch this inept fool who didn't RTFM and projected his incompetence onto you. You dork, you should be ashamed of putting a 1-star review on this powerful piece of software. Quite obvious you have no clue what is going on, you absolute muppet.
Unstable, sometimes it works, the rest of the time (w/no settings changes) clients connect but have no internet.
Works great with the right phone and cell plan. Used it with Sprint unlimited on a note 3, went well over 500GB/mo and never got charged extra from Sprint
Doesn't work after update. Bought this app in 2014 now gives me an Errn 2 message, saying I didn't purchase. If I knew I had to pay for updates that doesn't work, I wouldn't have purchased.

I love this app it works amazing but I have a new phone and a issue with it I have now a samsung s7 edge and this app forces my phone to reboot but only when I activate the router I need this fixed asap please i help I use this app everyday most of the day
End of august 2019 works exactly like its described if you FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS verizon galaxy s5 ROOTED android 5.0 my hotspot is now as fast as my home internet again after verizon throttled and changed data plans without consent if it doesnt work on the first try for you like it didnt for me, just READ THE SPECIFIC DEVICE CONFIGURATION had it up and working in less than 5 minutes...

was once a great app but like the others said he's not doing any worthwhile support or updating. Doesn't work on my Moto X4 with Oreo or Pie & on my Samsung Nougat tablet
Initializes and runs and launches theobile hotspot like advertized but when i try to pick up the signal on anything (attempted with second phone, laptop and xbox) not a single device can pick up the signal. May be issues with the settings, but have yet to make it work. Sent an email like the fescription asked and have yet to hear back. One star until fixed.
