The app does not work. Each time it is installed, the app freezes and shuts down without ever functioning. Phone has been restarted, and app has been reinstalled numerous times. If this is repaired and afforded the opportunity to actually use the app without waiting time, I may change the review. But it may work differently on your phone.
Heard so many good things about this, I'm rooted. Everytime I try and begin tether it crashes and days it started with errors and force closes. This app is garbage. Please update and fix bugs or I'm uninstalling as I'm sure the rest of us will. Thank you
Well, other methods have worked for me, but none consistently. This worked without any special configuration, it is fast, and continues to work on my rooted Droid X running Liquid ICS 2.0 tethering Cricket's 3g.
after looking around and i finaly instal it. Because my native tether is not very working "root" . First it confusing to setting, but it works G8 "topmarkotop" i use between my galfit to dell insp. And the connection is ok but it look great for downloading with idm.. joss tenan pokoke!!! For awhile 3 stars ok.
After rooting my mobile, my Wifi Hotspot functionality was not working, installed this app provided root access and wifi hotspot working fine now. Good app recommend to all
All new us cellular GS4 and new phones in general have auto detect for tethering. Making this worthless now.
Remove this app from play store because it has not been taken care of. Almost nobody can use it anymore.
Ive tried about 20 wifi and tethering apps paid and free. None worked EXCEPT open garden. Thank you! Didn't have to install a server on my desktop or add ons. Crashes, restarts phone. My phone is a rooted att phone running on t-mobile
the app looked promising, but is stops every time I try to start tethering. I've tried changing settings, but it was no use.
great app, but eror apear in motorola android 4.1.2 "could not install file dnsmasq", that wont happen in motorola android 2.3
Root first, all other progs failed. This worked Grade AAA #stopped working for some unkown reason
Works like a dream. Now I can have Internet wherever I'm at, no need to hunt for a hotspot. Just RTFM really well on how to root your phone. Not a complaint at all. OS is LXLE 12.04.3. SSID shows up in NetworkManager.
Grant permission, tells files are loaded and wait while starting > screen goes black and app shuts down. running JB4.3 MK2 on S4
This crashes immediately after trying to start the tether. Uninstalling after this happened a good half dozen times.
Was working just fine then one day - nothing, crashed and haven't been able to connect since.
I absolutely love this app it works everytime. HD2. Update... Samsung galaxy mega force closes it worked on my hd2 but now it doesn't work have to give it one star :(
Works just fine BUT it also sometimes turn off which I need to restart my phone to keep using it. Please opengarden fix this issue and you're will be rating up to 5 Stars :)
Not sure how but its crashing my windows 8 pro computer.. it has crashed 3 times so far ..using razr Max HD

Everytime I try it it says unfortunately has stopped working. What am I doing wrong. Anyone know where I can get free wifi on sprint. Had foxfi on Verizon but can't find crap that works with sprint
Rooted device, yet I can't seem to find any settings/profiles to get this to work. Plus it seriously needs an UI update.
I've used this app for years (like 2) and all of a sudden it crashes constantly. I am rooted and I have reinstalled the app many times. I am giving 3 stars because I know it is a good app, just something must be up right now. UPDATE**** It has been a few months and NOTHING has been done. The app still crashes and is useless. Therefore 1 star is what this app deserves. I am very disappointed... this used to be an amazing app, I wonder what happened?
Rooted S3, and this app will not initialize a tether. From the reviews, it seems to be a recurring issue on new Samsung mobiles. Uninstalled and back to Foxfi.
It works 99.9% of the time, the remaining 0.1% happens when I stop the connection and reconnects, it prompts me to install other files that is already installed.
SO SAD! Used to work for my PS3...it dectects my tether but times out when connecting to ip address. Same goes with other tether apps. Also used different roms but still no luck. Anyone know a fix??? Rooted Htc Thunderbolt running Das Bamf SoaB 1.4
