WiFi Walkie Talkie
- Does not require internet or mobile network connection, use any available WiFi hotspot or create a mobile access point on one device and connect all other devices to this access point.
- It supports running in the background as a receiver with minimal battery usage (you can hear you friends while device is locked)
- Devices find each other by NSD (aka Bonjour or ZeroConf), no any configuration required. It just works.
- Very small, takes only 300Kb of device memory storage
- Talk button lock, swipe left-and-down or right-and-down to lock button
NSD on Android is not stable enough, so if devices can't find each others or top line with pointless text is not green try to restart application, or reboot device.

It seems perfect - no ads, lite, just uses Android's built in NSD to find other devices without anyone needing to register. Yet the one time I tested it, if I closed the app, it needed a device restart to find the other devices again. Not ideal, but that might be good enough for some people.
It is not ideal, but in compare to other DirectWiFi walkie-talkie, it is much better (works more reliable). Please add 1) ability to auto turning on wifi direct iface when app starts; 2) be much more informative about current status (wifi direct iface is on\of, list of other clients, connected\disconnected, etc).
Good! But there's a problem- like seriously! when I clicked on push to talk button. NOTHING HAPPENS! (just a red thing) how do I talk with people?! there are no instructions!!! This is a rip-off. I mean- the game isn't bad at all but nothing happens when I push the button. so. I don't recommend this app.(because if u press the button when u download it, nothing happens!) I'll give this a five star when this is fixed. Well at least there's no ads that are annoying but still. Rip-off. :(
Difficult to see other user in channel at the same network/wifi.. You must try re open apps to fix this issue. For improvement, devoper must add channel feature, this maybe help.
Simplistic and easy to use with no clutter, functions well even on minimalistic router devices. I really like it!

Hello, your app is good! I have a request: it would be really good if you add a widget and functionality that even if the phone display is turned off, you can still send voice messages by pressing volume/other controls, like a real walkie talkie. God bless and more power ;)

When someone speaks out, I can not hear anything. It Works fine on other Android phones. My Android version is 5.0.1
Could do with Bluetooth ptt or option to customize ptt button... to a headset for example

This is exactly what I was looking for. An app that does the function of a walkie-talkie with everyone on the same network with me without having to be connected to the internet. Now I can communicate with all the camera men in my Church at once since we're all on the same network. Don't download this app if you're looking for an app that does walkie-talkie with your friend that is far away from you, that is not the problem this app set out to solve. If your friends don't appear on your channel automatically, confirm that both of you are on the same network. This app simply allows you to talk to everyone on the same network with you real time. And the response time is super, because there is no need for a central server anywhere. To think that the app is less than 1MB! No bloatware, no unnecessary additions, just the basics you need in a regular walkie-talkie. Now I don't need to use $100 to buy walkie talkies! Perfect! PS. What do I want the developer to add? Compatibility with iOS. Some of my guys use iphones.
