WiFiman
WiFiman helps you locate a less crowded channel for your Wi-Fi Access Point. It lists nearby Wi-Fi channels and Bluetooth LE devices and shows you the details of those channels.
With the app you can easily list and analyze devices connected to your current network. WiFiman scans the whole network subnet and shows you all of the available devices with the applicable details, using Bonjour, SNMP, NetBIOS, and UBNT discovery protocols.
Another core feature is the network speedtest. You can test the speed of your internet connection and save the results for later comparison – or quickly share the results.

This app helps to check on the WiFi speeds as advertised with what you actually get, which is very different. The claims of Broadband providers are exaggerated and only apply in perfect conditions with fibre connections from Distribution Box to the home. Worth checking out the other calibration and user results for value for money.
WiFiman is very good software from Ubiquity.As a developer, it helps connect to a PC using my propiertary remote desktop client. A recommendation is to make sure the speedtest servers are always on and if it could use camera data and data from the WiFi module to create a visual realtime projection of the available networks that would be five stars
Application is good, although the Teleport feature is pretty poor. What I am missing the most is the ability to configure it so that it auto-connects to VPN if on Open-WIFI (or not in home network).
wonderful user interface, which means it's very user friendly and easy to use. They took a lot of time creating this wonderful app. Great to test your 5G speeds and also your regular internet speeds and you can also download it on your other phone and then do a little test to see which phone is better at retrieving Wi-Fi or data speeds. overall, I give this wonderful app five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Well so far so good. I just downloaded it and started using it. I've only tested the performance on my Galaxy Note 10 plus using my data download and upload speeds. I must say I am pretty impressed especially knowing the area I am in usually is in a really poor area and our data is not very good.
So this app really helps me at work because I have to troubleshoot Bluetooth, 4g 5g, 2.4 and 5gig routers. This app single handedly helped me prove that a customer issue was not with our equipment. He was right on the edge of his wifi and in another part of the building so he was connected but had little to no data connection, causing server connection errors. Thank you SO much for this app.
Excellent! It helps a great deal to fine tune your wifi in heavily congested areas. If you know what you are doing then this tool is of a huge assistance. Great piece of work!
Very good app! However, it would be awesome if when I click connect on a wifi it would connect me as opposed to simply showing me my wifi settings. The app sees more wifi spots than my phone's settings show me so when I click connect I cannot actually connect to it. I am on Samsung galaxy S9+. Even though some wifi spots might be further away, they perform better than those shown to me. It should be possible to connect through the app as I've seen another app allow this.
it's a really handy tool for someone who manages a lot of networks and tries to troubleshoot them, it's recommended for almost anyone as it has an intuitive UI as well
Incredibly responsive and well laid out Ux/i and super functional. Could maybe have some more functions but that would just be for me to play around with, this has everything you need.
Great App. However, no IPv6 in the Discover section. Also in the port scan there should be the option to stop the screen locking and having to restart the scan.
This app is amazing! It does exactly what you need and has a beautiful user interface. All the data is plotted on charts very nicely. Best wifi analyzer app in the app store! 💯
I gave this analyzer 5 stars because 10 wasn't an option. What a great tool. I've gotten rid of the 3 other tools I've had because wifiman is the Swiss army tool of analyzers. I live in a log house built in 1975 and added onto in 95. I have google wifi with 2 satellites. The hub is in the old section and one sat is 2 15 inch log walls away, the other is a stud wall, floor and 2 poured wall away. wifiman solved the placement problem and an interference problem. NO ADS & FREE. I WOULD PAY GLA
What happened to the ubiquiti servers for speed test? They are just gone now. I use to get really good speed test but only from those servers. Strange that it only worked out that way and now I don't see them as a option anymore. Good app but that stinks.
This app is fantastic, the amount of detail it provides for surveying your own WiFi is astounding. The UX is brilliant too, and best of all it's free, with no pesky adverts! Well done Ubiquiti, I'm impressed - I'll be looking into your hardware offerings too!
At first try-out, I'm very impressed. It provides masses of useful, detailed info, on every device in the house (and even some info on the most strongly competing Wi-Fi signals). For the maximum info, I turned all my VPNs (device and browser) off. (The only thing which didn't turn up in identifiable detail was the decoder we use.)

Well, thanks to this app, I discovered I'd left some access rules enabled on my Sonicwall firewall from my NAS to WiFi - I can't remember doing this, but confirmed that I have access - good job I'm not a security consultant for a living! (Yes, yes I am)
Why couldn't I find this app sooner?I love this app! Very good at presenting all kinds of useful WiFi information - down to the BSSID. Oh and by the way you can easily label the different BSSIDs which differentiates this app from most others of it's kind.
fast, clean interface, useful tools, no ads, no bloat. Seeing more advanced details like AP Mac address, ssid capabilities, mobile network specifics and vendor MAC OUI lookup would be great. Port scan is useful, traceroute would be a nice addition to the mtr-style continuous pings. Well done.
I love the WiFiman app. when I start the app I always yell out "WiFiMaaaaaaaannnnn"......like he's a super hero. Very informative app that works great for researching your network.

im not really sure how it works but this is the same of the nighthawk apps im using...nighthalk app is needed to operate the wifi6 modem.. its similar tho.. but i say its fine

This has been one of my ALL TIME favorite apps since I've found it browsing for a solution to awful hotel wifi (about 45% of my time in them for business travel, that's a large number in the grand scheme of life.) I paired with connection stabilizer app not associated with W*Man, equalling complete perfection! I've paired the two apps on every device I own and everyone's I know whether they know how to use it or not.. .however, the speed test has stopped working for me. How do I fix this?
