Wii U Simulator

This app aims to recreate the UI of the Wii U directly on your Android device! Using it you can experience the home menu, settings, album and many other apps!

The app is currently in Alpha, so more support is being added in each update.

-A device with minimum 1GB of RAM is recommended to run the app.

Note: This is NOT an emulator, it will not play any retail Nintendo Wii U games, or allow you to use any of the services owned and operated by Nintendo, this is simply a simulation / parody of the User Interface.

It's a good emulation of the Wii U, but it would be great if you have all of the buttons (home button, ZL, ZR, L, R, A B, X, Y, d-pad, left/right stick and left/right stick button) on the screen at once and allow the user to enable/disable certain buttons of their choosing and the placement for each button(this option could be on the 'Boot Wii U' screen). This is required for games like Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, as most of the buttons are required to play the game at all. Also, if you could add more games and the option of users adding their own Nintendo Network IDs on the emulation, that would be great. I'd understand if not all of this is entirely possible, but it would make for a near perfect emulation of the underrated console.

All you gotta do is flesh out the games a little more, and it'll be golden. Like how the Smash Bros. main menu is incomplete. But what is there is super believeable. also at the very least give the Mario Maker "demo" thing all of the Wii U gamepad inputs. Also, once entering the browser, I can't seem to go back to the home screen.

I think people are confused between an emulator and a simulator. This isn't meant to run games just to give a demo of the wii u home screen and it is great that it can run the game menus as well. People just don't get it!

It's good BUT when you go into mario maker and fall into the pit and when it has the edit button I tried clicking it but it didn't work. It was a softlock. I was stuck. Add touch screen and that would make the game easier.

This is cool! It's a perfect simulation of the Wii U!The games are not completely functional, but you can visit the title Screen of each game so imagination is required, which isn't a bad thing! It even turns on like a real Wii U and has the same music. I recommend making a small mii creator simulation and be able to see it in the corner of the game selection screen! To all that is reading this please download this and give it a try it's a unique app. I give 5 stars for quality and effort into it!

It's a great simulator! It makes me feel like I actually got my hands on a Nintendo game console... The only thing is you should make more back buttons so the user doesn't have to exit the game every time they finish a path of code. Also, want to be able to scroll through the main menu- even if there's no other apps!

Man people really need to read the description of an app before writing a review. No phone has the power to emulate a Wii U. As of the time writing this, it's impossible to play Wii U games. No, you cannot "easily turn this into an emulator" This is a SIMULATOR not an EMULATOR. The Mario maker is just a remake. It isn't even the full game. Your phone can't even handle the Wii without buffering like crazy. As a simulator, this app does a great job. 5/5.

The graphics are believable but the fact you can't do anything other than watch the title screen of the games is a bit poor, sorry but it seriously needs a little gameplay features. Even just a basic one look super Mario Bros would be great...

As a prank, this app does not deliver. The abundance of ads, lack of accurate animation and various other things prevent it from filling its already pretty weak objective. Super Mario Maker has almost no functionality (jump is finicky, movement is stilted, bricks don't function, no building functionality). The Smash for Wii U intro video isn't even the official one and the menu doesn't function. I'd much rather you used the presentation of this app UI to make a Wii U launcher instead.

hey buddy, you have got something VERY COOL here! I see a whole lot of potential with this! You could (from what i understand) very easily turn this into an emulator! You already have clickable icons and a fantastic UI! now you need the emulator portion! this has tons of potential bro! im excited to see what you do with this! im gonna give this 4 stars!

Nice simulator. For a lot of you who don't know, simulators are not emulators. Instead of emulating the Wii U, it just acts and pretends to be it. It doesn't actually run any Wii U software. Read the description.

Look at all those 1 star reviews.Dumbasses can't even differentiate emulator and simulator.Just for you idiots, your phone can't run wii u or switch games.Your phones isn't strong enough to handle the graphics. The only Nintendo console you can emulate on a phone is Nes,Snes,N64, Gamecube and Wii.For gamecube and wii,you will need a very high end phone that has a snapdragon 865 to run games smoothly.same goes to mediatek, only high end chips can run Gamecube and Wii smoothly.my review?Great novelty

Hi JJBread. You might be on to something here! If this keeps growing, you could recreate the entire Wii U system (with all the games of course) for everyone to play, FOR FREE! Also, in the Super Mario Maker app, could you fix it so you can actually edit the introduction level. Thanks

Its a great app but it would be nice to have the controls on the screen the whole time or to have it where you can connect a controller to youe device and control it like that

I can't edit in Super Mario Maker, someone please teach me how to do so..........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................lol just kidding! It's a great simulator and a great prank. And no, this will NEVER be made into a real emulator since a mobile device wouldn't have the power to run a Wii U emulator, and only computers are capable of doing that. Just think about it. How will you download Super Mario 3D World on your 16 GB Samsung Galaxy S5 and play it with a Wii U emulator? Although one Wii U game only takes away about 1% of that storage, Cemu would use use up over 60% of it. Plus, the Galaxy S5 only has 2 GB of RAM but Cemu needs double that amount. Although newer phones have more storage, Cemu still needs about 30% of the expanded storage, so you better get a computer or a real Wii U on eBay or Amazon if you wanna see Meowser in action for yourself or whatever.

This is really good! I would like to see this made into an actual emulator one day! However, i give four stars because when i opened the Mario Maker, i literally had to spam the home button to get out of the app. But that us really nice for a simulation.

Pat. H. Aug 13, 2020

it is very hard to do because every time I try to press a game to play it it lets me get like not even a minute into the game and then it's not even working like when I was playing super Mario Maker it won't even let me jump up to get the coins and then I had to jump off this thing and then said it's levels unfinished you need to edit it to finish it and I was like pressing it and I was pressing the edited thing and it still wouldn't want to do anything

It's all far good. But nothing to do. The only Apps that work is Internet Browser and friends list the eshop crashes everytime and have to close the app and start it again. Miiverse shutdown. Cant we see the WaraWara Plaza? Can we make another Mii? Can we have the Wii Menu? I know this is not a emulator but just some changes needs to be changed. Let people in Miiverse but give them the error message. and dont let the music restart can you get the full version from YouTube? Let more apps on it.

HYP. Sep 24, 2018

As stated in previous comments, you can't do much after the intro. Great menu and load up screens though.

This is awesome!bit is wat it says. If u dont want it dont get it! Its a good app. Because it doesn't accurate job simulating the Wii u. That doesn't mean it's simulates the game it just simulates the Wii U menu which is nice

Mil. J. Nov 24, 2018

The graphics are very low quality. Also in Mario maker, I was pressing edit and still nothing happened. It could have been better.

eld. c. Sep 5, 2019

None of the games are playable cuz the touch pad wont work (for some god samn reason considering it comes with a touch pad) and you only get an A and some touch controls. Thats it. Thats a bad game. Well... simulator. And i want it fixed so i can FINALLY PLAY SUPER MARIO MAKER!!!

Ngu. M. Nov 20, 2020

So many 1-star reviews. I can just say that no one reads the description of this "emulator" and just downloaded it, thinking it's an emulator. C'mon everybody, it's just a prank! This is why the loading screen is very basic, there are less controls, and that it's terrible. It clearly says "Wii U SIMULATOR" but I think that when people see "Wii U" they immidiately think this is an emulator. BTW, great prank.

Log. M. Mar 30, 2019

I get it it's a beta and they can't completely copy the Wii U until it's completely outdated but for what it is it's actually pretty good and similar to the Wii U the Super Mario Maker doesn't even work if you download it you'll know what I mean.

Men. T. Aug 4, 2020

This is not looking really good. Look, I know this is not an emulator, but make the games work and add stuff to it. Just do this with one of the games like super smash bros. Super mario maker can stay the same.

Fem. B. D. b. S. S. May 26, 2020

more could be done. make the ads on startup and when you quit, not when you load a game. maybe add "eshop updates" where expanded versions of games could be "purchased".

Ale. J. G. Dec 21, 2020

Okay people who complaining about not playing Smash 4 and Super Mario Maker. A emulator is a software that can mimic the actual system. A simulator is a cropped down version of emulator since you can't put some programs on a simulator.

Tab. Oct 29, 2018

I am pretty sure this developer will make a Wii U emulator for Android. I know it's a simulator but works great! Think about making an emulator, developer! I know you can do that!
