WikiCamps makes it incredibly easy to find sites. Simply bring up the site list to see sites nearest to your current location, or use the map screen to see exactly where they are on a street or satellite map.Then tap a site to bring up its details page. The site details page shows icons representing features the site has to offer, such as toilets, showers, power, pet friendly, and so many more! It also shows the name, address, contact details, a user rating, user reviews, prices, photos and even a handy 7 day weather forecast.

Giving it 2 stars. Initially loved the app, and the trip planning features. now I can't even open the darn thing. The opening page is just blue and none of the menus or selections work. App crashes and send report but its been weeks and its still not accessible. Fix it please!!!
I am very happy with this app I use it constantly when traveling in the caravan. Perhaps I could gain even greater benefits if I spent some time looking at the other options within the app, but I am quite happy searching the intended area of travel and reading the reviews for site's in the vicinity. Use this app for our trip through Qld, NT and WA. I like that it can be used off line. Always handy to read the latest reviews of a place as they can change from the original description. Looking forward to getting back on the road with wikicamps to assist us with camp sites.
I have loved the app, worked well while I was travelling. It's now very slow, I can't scroll thru camp details etc .drops out all the time. Have uninstalled & re installed but no different . Update....working normally again
Very informative comments. Photos are good information. Some sites listed leave a lot to be desired. However folks opinions always differ. It is amost comprehensive travel, touring information application.
Best camp app - great info re free camp spots, caravan parks and points of interest. Use the Trip Planner to organise route & itinerary. The App calculates distances to help plan route and fuel. Improvements. - Ability to stops on the trip planner to a Calendar eg Google - Easier export of data to a spreadsheet - capacity to share trip with another person without them linking to account. All in all a great app for campers.
Very good with lots if points of interest. My only complaint is you have to be way zoomed in to see the white roads, they need to be darker and be able to be seen not zoomed in so far.
Fantastic app. So much better than camps who are a rip off every year. Love the off-line map feature and the link to google maps to display in the car. It's a great app to get current details on camps and POI. Like closures and fees etc.
Love Wiki. We use it all the time. Every time I see a new place I want to explore I look in up on Wiki and add it to my favourites list. Makes planning the next trip as easy as checking my favourites list and plotting the route to take. Thanks Wiki
Beware! After initially using the app with free access, without warning, you'll be asked to cough up $8 to continue, restricting all access until you do. Letting folks know up front that this is the deal would be the respectful thing to do. RESPONSE Thanks for this and good to know. It would also be helpful if this came up when first opening the app also (as some, like me, may download and use without reading the 'About' section having been referred to the app).
Love the ability to find free/low cost camping. Reviews are important,but need to be vetted. Love that it links to google maps. Also love the satellite finder feature.
I've been using Wikicamps since it came on the market for .99c. I've travelled Australia for the last 12 years solidly and Wikicamps is my bible. It does take some time to find your way around the App but once you've mastered it you will use it constantly.
An amazing assistant while on the road. Have had no issues even when information is incorrect or outdated. The opportunity to update is there. Also the reviews are helpful negative or positive. Good intel . Keep up the good work.
We love and use your app constantly. It makes it easy to find a spot for the night and a great help for interest sites. There have been a few places along the way that weren't mentioned.. what would be the process of this. Thanks WiliCamps
Fantastic app with everything a camper needs to know when looking for a camping spot, dump point, water taps, etc. I use it every time we plan a trip.
An excellent app for constant practical use; the traveller's friend! I've worked out after some time, how to see either just the places I've marked as Favorites, or: All Icons. The reviews and fee structures contributed by users are very helpful, as are photographs. A casmping app which helps all parties involved, I feel! And the day visit icons give great tips for the area one is in, or going to.
I downloaded wiki camps a while ago, but never tried it, now that I would like to use it it says that I need to buy it... I didn't even get to try it... I wish the demo would be different not considering days, but how many times you have used it. I did buy it though and I love it. I use it often.
Disgusted by this "FORCED" update, Wikicamps was working just fine for me in what I needed, updates should be optional, I never update apps until other user have rated the new updates just incase of failures and sneaky data harvest like (HMMMMM lets see) Face, Fingerprint login. Count me out Im not interested, Again this is a FORCED update within my paid subscription with the previous owners of Wikicamps, the new owners seem to want to turn a profit from data harvest & make US pay also.
fantastic app, so useful and easy! however it crashes and won't go past the set up screen using my moto g5+ with android 7 :( it works well on my moto edge 20 fusion running android 11, and works on my partner's iphone.
We have loved this app and are 5 months in to our lap, and haven't been able to open the app for 3 days now. Incredibly frustrating that we can't access our trip.
I've tried to upload a profile picture a few times throughout this year and it always crashes the app. As soon as I select my photo the app just closes.
We only planned on driving an hour a day and found that often time and kilometres between stops were much lower than Google. It would be great if you don't the us down roads that are not suitable for vans as this has created much distress. I like the trip planner and map it creates and the ability to share.
Very useful App. Travelled all around Australia with it and found some great spots. Well worth it.
User friendly app. If you do experience issues though the product support team is super prompt and helpful.

We use this app whenever we camp - a few months a year. So easy on long trips to find camps nearby when it gets near the end of the day.
Five out of five! Almost... There are campsite features that are often listed, such as fishing. But I'm not able to filter on the map by campsites that I can fish at. I'd really love to be able to do this! I think that you should be able to filter by any of the features listed at campsites instead of only the select few
