Fires don't heed state lines. Add a map showing fires within a user-specified boundary and you'll have something useful. Also, remove the links to Russian language Twitter users. Activefiremaps' mobile site has a more useful interface for immediate need. We shouldn't have to take a time-consuming test to get local info.
Well, thought I would give it another try. Was looking for the "Sand Fire" in Santa Clarita California. Went into Calfire, typed in Santa Clarita. Came up with listing for the "Sand Fire". Clicked on that for details. Got a message saying "This is not a Calfire incident, click on the link above for details". Clicked on "Los Angeles County" link above, and I get...404 error. This folks, is what you can expect from this completely useless app. You're better off just doing a Web search or checking the news!
This app Just links to external sites. Would like to see a map within the app to view current wildfire activity near me, or in my state, or within x miles. And would also see within the app any active warnings, watches, or evacuated areas.
Just a waste of space. Mostly just links to other sources. No way to set it for local info and alerts.
Downloaded the app and it would not open. Tried three times, it was a waste of time.
Although the info was good, I was looking for a map of where any wildfires are going on now.
This could really come in good use since we live in Little Rock.
App crashes every time I try to load it
Essentual to have preparedness incase of an emergency . This is what its all about hands down
If you want more info on fires in a given area go to nifc.gov they have interactive maps and up to date incident reports
Good so far. Only used it for a day. Lots of useful information.
Need to know stuff.
Family over everything
Thanks
Gives no info on local wildfires, no maps, or news.
Very helpful when preparing. Before, during and after. I have downloaded several RC apps.
Get better news through other sources not worth downloading going to remove
Outdated and missing critical links, no map, no notifications, confusing interface, espanol on the toolbar, bugs me to rate it. Truly the worst of the red cross apps. Needs some serious rework.
Too big. Lot's of how to but no display of regional fires . Just a link to state website that is a list of fire names, no help. Mysterious links without info.
All I see are links to websites to get info. What does this ap do?
Where's the map?
App fails to open keeps crashing
