Williams™ Pinball

I would give this five stars because it's a really great app, but there are two issues that I feel negatively effect my overall experience. First, it's really difficult to unlock new tables for Freeplay. I've been playing for over a month and I have one Freeplay table (what you get when you download) and five other tables that I can only play on challenge mode. Second, when the game is fetching data sometimes it will fail and I have to close the app. I've lost rewards earned from this.

Have to attract the attention somehow, because the in game "contact us" button doesn't do anything... For the fifth time it happens to me when I win in the League Play, that I receive "Defeat" message, and get 0,0, as well as it shows the opponents result as 0 (even though it was, of course, much more). This happenes in the middle games always. And I keep the rating for many other reasons!

I would give it another star if it was made in a way that makes a controller compatible because I'll be playing and then my phone will react as though I want to hit back or the apps button which will make using the left flipped impossible. I have also spent several Z coins and fetching data ends with an error costing the coins without reward and have sat through several of the ads never being rewarded. Those two things cause great frustration and make the game nowhere near as enjoyable.

I just can't give this a better rating. I would like to, but there's too many things working against it. Mainly game play is really bad on some tables, like Funhouse for example. The ball constantly drains down the center EVERY time. If you can manage to make any kind of a hit with the flipper, it will drain on the way back down. You don't even get a chance to play at all! Just keep swipeing the plunger, that's about all ya get to do. There's alot of tables, but they're not cheap. Good luck

The grind to get new tables is crazy, make sure you pick the one you like because it takes forever to get a second table. The server issues are frustrating, complete a daily challenge but then sit there hitting refresh hoping it actually saves your win. Graphics are good, the sound is a bit wonky at times, all in all it's not the worst pinball game out there, I just wish it was better.

The ads get in the way a little but not in the middle of a game so it is not difficult. Physics seems pretty good. Graphics are good. Not very good information on the games so I had to look them up on my own. Since last update the game has been lagging bad and connection issues prevent me from progressing in the game. Started with 5, now 2 stars. Hmmm....

I have to agree with one previous comment that the server must be running on someone's old iPhone. Terribly slow and constant crashes. Way too many long ads, and many times the rewards for these ads are not given after sitting through 30 seconds of garbage. Upgrade your servers, or get out of the game! And don't bother sending me a we're so sorry reply. Update: Typical! I just posted this review and while I posted this, I returned to the play screen, it crashed and I lost the challenge rewards!

While the machine physics are challenging, you get one machine and significant grinding and ad content to get other machines to level one. Unfortunately that's not enough to get to play them in arcade mode. The ads are up to a minute long, and must be watched in full. Purchases are very expensive. If you can be happy playing one machine over and over again you might like this app.

Extremely flawed physics, improbable ball action, some tables are to hard to score points on, to hard to nudge the ball. But it's about the best pinball out there... I find it extremely brave that the game keeps asking me for reviews even after posting my first one, and some what annoying. I mostly play the daily challenges as I find that the most interesting way to play until I get a shot at level 4 of each table. So far up to level 3 on most of them. I will hold off on my final verdict

Great to be able to play these classic pin tables at home (or on a bus!). All of them are about as faithful to the physical tables and play just like the real thing. Ads are limited to "freebies" -- watch an ad., get a free table part or tokens. Also perfectly possible to play your way through to upgrading tables without needing to spend money ... if you're good at pinball, that is! Sadly, I have to deduct one star due to frequently losing connection, especially when cashing in a "freebie" (?).

I've given the benefit of the doubt for over a year now. I watch an ad, get an unknown error and no reward over and over. Everything else works fine. No connection issues. How is it that I'm connected enough to watch the ad and play the game but not enough for your servers to recognize pay out? It's been happening long enough and consistently enough that I'm convinced you know full well what you are doing. I'll change my rating when you fix it. Shady stuff guys...

Pretty great physics and table selection but they made the unlock process much harder without spending money, also the feature to watch an ad for a bonus reward from daily challenges is bugged more often than not, having to watch an ad 5x to not want to miss out on one of your few chances to get schematics to unlock free play on a table is brutal. Also the launch on No Good Gophers doesn't work.

Connections have improved but I still have to sometimes watch more than one ad because the game ignores rewarding due to connectivity errors. Medieval Madness fails to give rewards in hard mode lot. The xp system is ridiculous. You don't get reasonable xp except from Road Show. Many tables reward only 1-3 xp, and level up rewards are weaker by a long shot compared to winning a challenge.

Awsome, I have had this installed for I think 2 years now just haven't had the time to play much. Only complaint is the audio is "clipping out" bad, and not sure if it my quad- core phone that is the issue. Otherwise runs great. I'm sure it's the Best pinball app out there, and I have tried many.

Fixed the connection to the server issue and new game! Love this game New bug... when try to watch the ad to get free tickets, the app says I have no connection to the internet and then turns off the game sound completely. This is repeatable, as I've tested it several times. Version 1.6.2

Some tables still need critical changes in physics. Safe Cracker flippers are far too strong/fast compared to other tables. Black Rose cannon rails incorrectly block its own shots, and sometimes just freezes in arcade mode? The ball isn't released making the table unplayable. It seems the physics are different in league mode, and are otherwise unreplicable even with pro physics and difficulty. Is this intentional?

Just another disgruntled game player review I see underneath you can actually play this game for free and I have since day 1 he prob played for an hour and deleted it. I've played it for 2 years and yes it's a grind to unlock all the tables but I found that to be fun and have them all now heading towards 3 stars I also enjoy league alot and arcade mode. I just wish the table would save the score but it your high score does come up at the end to show you if you've beaten it.

I want to give this game 5 stars, but network connectivity is too terrible. I've played this on a current Gen iPad and on a new Samsung tablet and in both cases I spend a ton more time WAITING for the stupid thing to return from fetching data than I do playing. The game is great, the tables awesome, the modes terrific, but it is practically unplayable because of the network waits. I can't even imagine how you screwed that part up. Please fix, I will spend money on a game like this but not this

I don't want to change from 5 stars as this is a really great app when you get the rewards for the promotional videos, I started to skip just those as the client would hang and sometimes not even work. Now suddenly even the regular three prizes for the daily challenges are hanging and having issues.... I like the app bc the tables are the same and the developer has great presence with pinball fx on pc.....please work to fix the prize servers. I still plan on playing the app regularly, thank you

If you guys actually cared, you'd fix the issue with server communication. There is no need to make 5 requests when 1 is absolutely sufficient. Seriously, just make a single server request and get all of the data at once. Not "oh game over, let's find your rank and close connection, then open a new one immediately to get the loot box, then another one to determine what's IN the box." It's basic programming. Guaranteed that your server loads drop dramatically if it's fixed.

Love the graphics and game play. Plays just like the arcade games I used to play back in the day. The low rating is for the malfunction of not connecting to the server. It doesn't happen once in a while, it happens all the time. Love the games but may Uninstall because I'm tired of the malfunction.

Can't log in again. So frustrating as when it works, this is a brilliant game. Tables and physics are great. I'm playing for free and slowly unlocking content via rewards or you could spend some cash and get there quicker. This is top notch from Zen, who are digital pinball experts. Please sort out your server connection problems.

It's nice that u can play MOST games for free But the feel is just not right! I've spent countless hours shopping out playfields on actual full size pins and i can tell u: Farsight Studios did a better job with these classics! Why does ZEN go to all the trouble to digitize them only to foul them up with weak flippers, magnets that r too strong or ball spin & dynamics that are abnormal? ALSO if u play for ZEN COINS for upgrades BE SURE to spend them right away or they'll be deleted 150 at a time!

Horrible UI I don't have much time to play and really only got this for theater of magic. for the life of me I can't play the game. Menu option are confusing and it seems like the game just wants to sell you something. It's horrible. Not worth the time. Of ask I'm trying to do is play on one table. I honest don't care about challenges in other tables, because they don't interest me in the least. I think I paid for that take and now I can't even play it. Terrible app that just wants your 💰

The tables are amazing, BUT the game is buggy when u r in the menus.So many retry alerts bc of server connectivity issues (tried with different ISPs and even in the different countries).The UI is really bad and is way too dependant on internet connection for almost everything.I also had issues where the UI became unresponsive, or ads cannot be skipped no matter how long u wait and the game has no way to exit which is very annoying.Amazing tables, mediocre game that can be easily fixed
