Willow - Photo Watch face

Very frustrated! The fonts I want to use won't load, no matter how many times I try. I contacted Willow and got no response. My other issue is the font color options... They're all pastel colors other than white and black. Some people don't like pastels. I even paid for the upgrade and still no color options and the fonts don't work. Useless.

It pretty much does exactly what it is advertised to do. I love being able to add my own images to the watch. As long as you edit your photo so that it is 1:1 ratio (square) like Instagram photos, it shows up pretty well. But it is not perfect. It would be much nicer if you could move the image up/down/left/right slightly so that it could appear the way you want it on the watch. I do love the rotating images feature. I purchased the premium version thinking I would like adding the "complication" widgets. The nice thing is you can add 1-3 of them. However, they don't all work. For example, the calendar complication does not show the date. Also, I only want to show 1 complication but the frames for all 3 of them show up in ambient mode - so even though you are not using them, they block part of your picture. All in all, I still like the application. But, I wish I would not have purchased the premium version. All it does is allow you to set/change the complications, but they do not work correctly.

I am using this app with my Galaxy Watch 4. I like that I can use my own pictures and have it set to automatically rotate through multiple photos. My only complaint is that sometime the pictures show up on the watch rotated 90 to 180 degrees. If I go in to customize the watch face in the app on my phone and select the current picture, it fixes the orientation on the watch, until it rotates another picture later. It doesn't do this all the time, it's very inconsistent. I'd give this app five stars if not for the random rotating of my pictures.

Love it! Easy to use and has 24 hour format! The only thing I've noticed I'd really like to adjust is the color palette... There are lots of color but you can't adjust shading of color. It keeps my pictures and doesn't go wonky after power saving like Mr. Time/Timeflik does. Much quicker to change background pix than the other one also.

I love this smart watch app! Not only does It have images of its own you can use but it also has the capability to customize your watch using any photo or downloaded image you have on your phone as a watch face! It is very user friendly and fun!! Finally an app that is not hard to figure out!

It's the only one that I know of that does alternating faces automatically. This feature alone is worth the 5 stars. You pick then and they stick them, doesn't get any easier than that. 👍

Really like the app but can't upgrade to premium. I would like to be able to customize more and of course I'm willing to pay for premium but when I hit "Upgrade to Premium" nothing happens.

It will perfect if you can add battery percentage and if we can move the date, time and the battery % in place we like so they don't cover the background image.

Had this app on my Note10 loved it. Got my new Sam22ultra and can't open it on my watch4. I have re-download it to both and it still won't open on my watch. Did I say I loved this app before really sad now. But I will still give it 4 stars because when it works it's great

Love this watchface! Will give 5 stars when options for exact color selection, more time placement options, analog with simple ticks at each hour increments. 😀

This app does everything I was looking for in a Wear OS watch face app, I can use any picture I want and change how the time and date are displayed. My issue with this app is that it says "syncronize" and seems to be syncing forever. There's a circle that runs around the outside of the watch face forever, and it seems to drain the battery more than normal. Unfortunately, that's a deal breaker for me.

Great app that syncs fun photos and time fonts to my Fossil Sport watch. There are a variety of beautiful photos on the app or you can upload your own. Lots of font styles and colors for the time display. You can edit the time to show 12hr or 24hr, add day of the week, month and date. Time format only shows as digital though. I've been only using this app for 2 years now and I am very happy with it!

Really handy to make your watch look modern! But some features not working yet including premium and phone gallery, hence 4 stars

Why can't I open the app? It tells me to check my watch and when I do I have to go to the playstore and it's installed but it doesn't do anything on my watch or phone I can't even get to a home page, it just says check your watch then nothing happens

The face is very good as it's the only face I see that can hold so many pictures. A nice enhancement would be to be able to change the picture more often than one hour

I've had 3 Smart watches and this is one of the first apps I download when I upgrade my devices. Easy to use and no hiccups.

Great app but more font colour options (dropper option to match fonts with colours in images) would make it great!!

I used it for ten minutes and paid for premium, but I'd love some features: 1) Can't crop or select the portion of an image you want to use for a watch face (ex. Three people in the picture, but you only want one person's face). 2) Ability to manually select where you want text to appear on the watch face (clock at top, date at bottom). 3) Ability to schedule specific images for specific times (different pic for morning vs evening).

Doesn't appear compatible with Fossil Gen 6 smartwatch and Android 12 on Pixel. Inverted all colors on my watch and there was no way to revert colors. I had to factory reset watch and delete watch from phone. Also deleted app. Might have been nice to use but not like that! Super annoying. ETA: A response two months after my review is a bit late. I moved on. I am not interested at this time.

This is a phenomenal app that completely surpassed my expectations. It does exactly what I would like it to do and even more the custom font feature is amazing. Edit: I wrote this about 10 minutes after I got the app and now that I've had more time to play with it and mess with it's features, I'm even more impressed. This app is hands down the best watchface ever and I seriously commend the developers for making such a great app!

I wish the face had support for complications, but otherwise it does what it should do and does it well :-)

You can add images and set your own watch face. It works on my galaxy watch4. Maybe cuz I'm using the free version.. it's not letting me automatically change the images or add complicated functions.

My favorite face! They don't tell you this, but any photo you can take with your phone, can be a face. My vision isn't great, you can adjust all the fonts to size and color seemingly unlimited, super great to personalize!! Yay, Willow!!!

I installed this app on both my watch and phone 3 times. Each time I tried to open the app it kept telling me to install to my watch and gave me a prompt button to do so (even though it was already installed to my watch). Nothing happened when I clicked the botton. As reading the other reviews it seems I'm not the only one with this issue.

This is the free watchface customizing app we have been searching for. One where you can use any of your own photos or one of their hundreds of backgrounds and everything about it you can make how you want. I used to go from app to app changing my watch but I don't need to now that I've found this one.

I like the app. Works well for the most part. Only issue I have is that the always on display doesn't work all the time. Not sure why when I have the setting set on my phone. Watch face will just go black.

I've got the latest watch and the S22 Ultra and the app wouldn't even show on the watch, just turned the screen black. Was looking forward to using this since I'm late to the smartwatch game.

Purchased the premium after tested, battery consumption is very low unlike other customizable watchface. Do appreciate individual font customization for Time vs Date & alignment choices. Also, the ability to zoom in/out or adjust image size & preview in phone app. Thanks!

Free version covers almost all the basics for a watch face with configurable background. Very usable, with little fluff. Would be best-in-class if it had analog time/date display and an option to display the month numerically

I like the app. I'm not a fitness person so all these other custom app watch faces always want to add steps and other useless info. I like that I can use my own pictures and just have the date and time which is all I need. I hate widgets so I don't need premium.
