App worked great for half a year but recently everytime I try to pay for parking it hasn't gone through on the app despite saying I've paid for parking. Resulting in parking fines due to this app that doesnt work properly

I guess one more unhappy client. I think it would be a great improvement if this app allows to reserve a spot or at least to say how many spots are available. The main reason why people pay for carpark is to do things faster, so you don't really want to go to every carpark around to then no have space in any of them. Disappointing.

Thanx for the 3 fines I recently got. Started the session to only find out it never started. Also confusing when there are 2 or 3 car parks to choose from and you picked the wrong one. Unfortunately this is the only way I can get to work otherwise I would have used an alternative travelling option. To pay $4 for parking and get a $65 fine is outrageous. You steal people's hard earned money.

Terrible, just take note that when you click "Start My Parking" it does not start your parking, you are then brought to a page that almost looks like an invoice / receipt but it's not.. You then have to scroll down slightly to click on the confirmation button which is out of site with no obvious scroll bar. Thanks for the $65 fine which I certainly won't be paying, take my $10 for standard or nothing at all.

Possibly the worst app ever made, charges you twice and three time, you have to keep on Uninstaling it. People running the app really need to get their acts together

Many reviews here state that you need to register a credit card before you can finish signing up. The replies simply state that you do not need to do that but don't say how. You'd think that if many people are saying the same thing, then this is an issue and you should change the UI and state here how to proceed with sign up without entering a credit card. I just tried to sign up and guess what... the reviews are correct. I can't finish signing up without entering a credit card.

Easy to use most of the time. I'd like to request that when you choose to start a parking session, that there shouldn't be any pre-loaded parking spot. I've paid for the wrong park and received a breach notice. Understandably, it's definitely my fault, but I just wanted make the suggestion. Thanks ✌️

App not intuitive or logical when using bundles. Poorly designed interface. Due to the very poorly designed interface I accidentaly purchased a second bundle instead of being able to just start the parking session. Why is the parking bundle under promo code? Obviously no user testing.

App has worked fine for me every time and is user friendly however it needs an option to "top up" account balance to avoid being charged a 50c transaction fee every single time (which is 5 days a week for me). One transaction fee for a bulk top up would be better (pay my park has this option and that was great).

Absolute scam. Overall it's 50cents more expensive to use the app than to use the regular parking machine. The app also offers 2 hours free parking if you visit select shops in the area. Visited 2 which were advertised and neither were printing the parkmate promo code.

Absolutely useless! All I need is access to parking spots on streets and/or carparks, so all I need to do is pay parking fees from wherever I am, not necessarily where the car is. I.e. able to top up from the app, without having to go back to the car. Fairly simple, eh?

Very helpful and saves me time, also makes a big difference in the prices, especially if you have to use it regularly. I needed an instant assistance once and dialed the phone number appointed on the display and I was assisted immediately and professionally! Thank you!!!

This app has helped and hindered. Biggest issue is you keep paying until you stop your session. I occasionally forget to stop. Why can't we set up an automatic stop at a given time? I forgot to stop yesterday and paid $22 for an $8 session all day session. ( reminder email went to unfocused outlook folder)

did not work. Uncertain what the issue was. I left the application and shut down yhen restarted the phone. The Application downloaded and installed flawlessly. Perhaps we expect perfection thesr dsys. This was just a reminder - nothing is perfect. Application id working well. On another note. Service is A+. While I hsd the problem of no Parkmate application I needed to phone Auvkland Office of Wilson Parking to arrange a solution. Immediate result. I will remember not to silk next time.

Beware; they dont let you remove your credit card! Installed this & registered in a rush while late for something. Wanted to save money, but the discount code was a clever scam, only your 5th park is free, so just ended up using cash anyway after wasting all that time, but now they keep my credit card number! Pretty sure preventing updating of private information is illegal. Will see if theres a way to report this.

Keep jumping out of sign up process. Still trying to locate the parking meter and to check details. needs some improvement. look forward to using it to it's full potential. Expect glitches when new

The search function is absolutely useless. You have to manually check where you are on the map to find the correct carpark. This app is mainly good if you're parking in the same carpark every day to save the fuss of searching for the park you're in.

Literally the worst app... both times I've used it I've been charged a lot more than what the rate is in my carpark, and it doesn't tell you that the rate is going to differ from what you would pay at the machine. Would rather just take the time to walk to the machine.

The app has improved a tiny bit, but you can tell that they do zero user testing. How could you force the notifications for casual parking be always on? You already have a separate expiration notification. I've set the reminder to be the least frequent as possible, but still receiving a notification EVERY 30 MINS. For the love of god, spend at least $20 on user testing, please.

The notifications don't alway work. You have to press the confirm button twice, so this often means that the parking is not activated. So far because of this issue i have been charged $65 per parking fine for a $1.50 ticket.

Been using for a few weeks & this week it stopped sending me notifications of my parking & not deducting from my account till the next day. Get it sorted!! If this is the way its now working thats fine, i just don't think its right when businesses change the rules of play without telling their customers. Cheers

a necessary evil. when it works it's great. end up setting parking time before leaving home as it fails so often using data instead of wifi. currently un installing and reinstalling as it has got into a loading loop AGAIN

Have to fill in your registration details multiple times as swapping off the app (e.g. to go to your password manager) causes the app to go back to the login screen. very frustrating! Already frustrated and I haven't even started using it!

Everything was working ok until I had to get a new card as my own one expired, took ages loading my new card as it kept erroring out then refused to use it saying it wasnt a valid card... so annoying as every other retailer had no issue with it, then couldn't actually remove my card from the system at all for weeks until i called support and they then removed all the card information.... wont be using again, incredibly frustrating and incompetent app, stay away from it.

I aggree with giving credit card details for registration. I think that app wants to reach 1 star general rating to change that. I just wanted to host a car space... And i will register on another app. I still don't know if that app is good for parking, what is their fee, their service.....
