It was all very laggy to the point it disturbs your gameplay, causing you to lose your place quite frequently it's just pointless tbh. The game as a whole I quite like the idea of it, it just needs the bugs and lags fixed and it would be quite good I'd defo keep the game. There are so many ways it could be improved like choosing different settings/improving scenery, maybe adding/enhancing online racing. Maybe introduce some single player challenges so you can choose different looks of your character like different skins. It has potential but rn it's quite bad.
I keep crashing into invisible obstacles. Honestly the first level was pretty straight forward but I feel like the boundary boxes are all over the place in the 2nd level. It instantly turned a game I was enjoying into a game I deleted. There are a lot of ads in this game and I'm not going to pay to remove ads from a game this glitchy. With fewer ads and better play control I would give this game another shot.
Literally the worst mobile game I have ever played! I downloaded this and played it for all of ten minutes. During that time I could not do anything. The game is slow, stutters and lags. Impossible to actually play the game as the controls do not respond and, if they do, it's a full 20 seconds after touching the screen. You cannot see what is happening because the game either crashes or is so slow that I could download GTA V using a dial up connection even quicker. Stay away from Wind Rider!
Super laggy and has a ton of ads that last for 5-10 seconds each. Not recommended not fun waste of digital space. One good thing was when it wasn't lagging it was visually pleasing. Still, only deserves 1 star overall. Voodoo has done way better work even with more poorly advertised and rated games. This is overated honestly. 1 star from me, thank you.
It would be a lot of fun but there are ads after every run, no matter what, and the runs are maybe a minute each so you spend a third of your time watching ads. It is also kinda buggy and laggy. If they fixed these 2 things I think I would love it, but until then I'm uninstalling.
This game is a awesome glitch. I love all the games VOODOO makes but this one was way to glitchy! It was running smoothly for a minute then my Youtube stops, I try to turn it back on doesnt work. Then I tried pressing buttons on my screen nothing worked! I had to turn my phone off and on then delete the game and then my phone was back to normal. It's a good idea, but it needs improvement a lot. This is just what happened to me and my opinion on this.
It's a fun game but the upgrades cost too much and give little boost. I upgraded speed and speed up to level 20 bad there is no noticable difference. And opponents seem to go even faster all the time. Ran a perfect run hitting all speed ups and still came in last. Saved up like 50 mill and upgrades speed and boost and still loose. Make the upgrades worth it like make it have a noticable difference.
I've ranted about this game in December 30, 2018 (see edit history), when I said that I have problems with laggy gameplay, ineffective upgrades and speedups, etc. So, as a final try for this game, I still have problems with them. However, I managed to stay on the leaderboards screen, and found that the camera is going to go out of bounds in all maps. Also, you only have 3 maps. It's abandoned because of the update date. Never playing this again. If I offended Voodoo so much, then I'm sorry.
The biggest issue I see with this game and it is a rather annoying issue, is the amount of adds you see inbetween each game. Imagine selecting "continue" instead of "watch add for double" and you get an add anyway. I get it's a free game but I would rather pay a quid for the game rather having add thrown in your face left, right and centre.
This game is absolutely terrible. There is no tutorial telling you the goal is to go through the circles and get first place. The advertisement showed me it as a single player trying to reach higher speeds. The controls would feel better inverted, and the advertisements in game are incredibly annoying.
It gets boring 💤 after a while due to only 2 different maps although you do discover more of it each time. I think it would be good to add in a few more maps and give a choice of which map you want to fly in. Maybe you could add in an infinite map and get a chance to create your highscore and improve it each time
No sound? What's up with that? Also, the game is too buggy; fun, but buggy. Earning all of that money to purchase powerups mean nothing, when the game is always boosted to win. Also, those powerups seem to have little-to-no effect on the gameplay speeds at all. Clean it up.
These ads need to have more game in them. Really, 60-70% of the time I spent with Wind Rider was spent trying to skip ads. It was especially irritating when I was offered a chance to double my reward if I watched an ad, I chose not to because I wanted to play this game, and I was shown an ad anyway but without doubling the reward. Yeah, I know, there's a paid version with no ads, but I didn't see anything in the 30-40% of actual game time that was worth paying money for.
alright.. this game has no idea what 3D means, especially in room levels, you cannot tell where you are, or even how high the roof is, and once you speed up, it fails at making it look like you sped up at all, it just makes the camera go backwards, and makes the character go downwards, and level designs are repeated, along with that, me moving my finger a inch, results the character to spaz out into the flash running around 50 miles an hour.
Sadly,the app is very good and addicting but the adds are so many and not only do they ruin the experience. But also,since I have YouTube playing in the background since I'm trying to kill time, it always stops playing because the adds take over the sound "space". I hope you know what I mean. Anyway dude,you have created a very good game but you ruined it from the number of adds. Sorry to say but I'm uninstalling.
terrible game. the core idea is alright, seems like a fun game, but a lot of mechanics are messed up. For example: why can the bots I race against respawn but I can't? I'll run into an obstacle and die because the camera angles make me look like I'm above it or below it when I'm not. I'll run into and invisible roof and die. This game doesn't feel like it was ready to be played and is another half-baked game from VOODOO.
Every single time I pass a race or die in a race an ad comes up and annoys me for the next 30 seconds pausing the game and makimg me more and more frustrated. When I tap to exit the ad, the race immediately restarts without me doing anything giving the other players an unfair advantage. Thank you for reading this post
Very glitchy, bad controls, horrible frame rate, lags a lot and so much advertisement. The idea is really cool and if all of that is fixed I would play it again but for now, I do not recommend it unless you enjoy glitches, bad controls and ads popping up every second. Uninstall.
This game is not for people who get frustrated very easily. I had an amazing experience, however I kept flying out of the map in the house. I gave you four stars because I think you could maybe do a tutorial for new players, because when I started I didn't know what to do or where to go, apart from that this game was amazing, the controls were just a little stiff but that's okay. Over all this was a very amazing and addictive game so I hope you can keep updating your amazing game. Loved it! 😍
pretty fun game. there is of course room for improvement. the near miss/money counter is too close to the character so it can block your view. Ads aren't too bad, but they are annoying at times. to me, the worst part is there seems to be only 3 levels. there may be slight variations but it's still the same 3 maps over and over. it kind of loses it's edge. still, it's very fun to play. not too easy either. there's a challenge to it for sure. overall great game just needs some fine tuning
TL;DR - This game has some great potential. But something needs to be done about adds. And the game is very glitchy. The game could easily go far. It just needs some TLC and the ads need to be fixed. Offer a double reward for an ad and if they decline then don't play the ad. But every 5 races or so, play an ad regardless but make the double reward add for the 5th round a longer ad. Perhaps reduce the amount of other racers to help lower memory and improve performance of the game.
