This app does not seem to be optimized for Android. I cannot scan my drivers license as such I cannot use the app or the service. Terrible. You must develop the app for Android users
Two times for ~25 min i tryed to lock the scooter. In ashdod it wouldn't let me leave the scooter, due to red zone. But the map doesn't show any near by green zone. The one that it showed was 20km from me, or where the sand dunes... eventually due to the 60min limit it was locked, and i was charged 120 Nis for 2 hours, while using only about 1 hour... tried to call support, was holdig the line for 12 min. Eventually decided to drop. this is defiantly the last time for me...
WARNING this app has a BUG where it charges you three times for one reload. At least that's what happened to me. I contacted Wind support and have not received any answer!!! Download at your own risk.😡
Offers free services then demand payment for them: periodical payment for "unlimited free unlocks". That's not the meaning of free, not as in free beer nor as in free speech. That's just lying.
Charged me for a super pass i didnt subscribe to. moreover - there is no button to cancel auto renewal.
Horrible. Stuck with selfie. I was late. after a few faulty tries the app locked itself. I want My money back!
Buggy app. The camera of my OnePlus3 stopped working when trying to take the final picture throught their app (the camera app also stopped working) so I had to restart the phone while still being charged. And the FAQs is really confusing because they claim that you can leave the scotter at any place you want inside the blue area unless there's a parking spot. In that case you can't leave it anywhere, even if the parking is at the other side of the city, so I had to go back to the origin...
Once you have used them once, it is easier to have a smooth transition from start up to finish. I have been using them as an alternative to cycling, which makes a change. The only issue that i have is that the helmet access can be tricky and take time to release, which can obviously eat into the cost of the ride. So would advise to use your own, if you have one. But all together, great fun and would highly recommend.
Had a nightmare trying to activate a scooter, so I tried to report it as faulty, which crashed the app. I managed to get a different scooter which worked fine until it started to randomly switch itself off despite having an almost full charge. Eventually it not only switched itself off, but applied the brakes, promptly ejecting me over the bars and skidding down the road. Again I tried to report the scooter, but the app crashed. Convenient for keeping reported faults down? I walked home.
As of right now, Wind has both the best scooters (by far) and the best prices. Bird and Lime are useless. Only issue I have is that more often than not, when you pause your ride, instead of being able to continue it, the button stays as "pause ride" and you have to click it again and wait for it to change to "continue ride" several seconds later.
They tried taking money from my account and ended up making me go through this whole fraudilent thing with my bank to verify it wasn't me trying ti make the payments.
Not worth it. Parking spot isn't clearly indicated and took me a while to understand it was in a subterranean parking lot. The scooter itself is nice but service is expensive and not very helpful. Edit: I forgot to mention that the "first unlock free" is a lie. The minimum charge is $10, $6 for a quick ride and $4 for the time it takes to find parking
They are charging you money automatically everymonth just because you might have clicked something without noticing. Bad culture and bad reputation to work with
The last three bikes that I've rented have been the worst. The gears never work, you'll be biking and it'll just drop a gear while pedalling. Anytime you try to go up to the second gear, you can get probably two rotations of the pedals and then it makes a really bad clicking noise and then drops the gear to first. Doing this at an intersection when you're trying to get going is a great way to fall in front of a car. Lastly, the lucky bikes never exist and defects are never fixed. Not impressed
They started putting an overlay banner with self promotions/upsell on the map. bad enough, but worse is that it obscures a UI element to stop the trip and ended up costing me 5€. I'd say that odds are 50/50 they did this on purpose. Also the app is slow as hell. 3minutes I'm standing next to the bike like an idiot and it only unlocks after the 3rd attempt.
I hated this company and service even before I started using it. First of all, screw you for an incredibly annoying signup process with a 60 second time limit to enter a verification code, not once but twice. But what really pissed me off is the excessive amount you charge to verify my credit card, which is around 70usd in my local currency. I don't care that it is refunded, the amount is just ridiculous. Most companies do an amount under a dollar. You really messed this one up!
Lots of problems locking and unlocking or pausing. It was an endless "processing" icon. When I did manage to get it working it was nice, but I couldn't pause it so when u needed to stop for a few minutes I just left it charging. It's great if it works with your phone.
Nottingham. I like the concept, I hope you are successful. The problem I have is finding a parking place. The map page was full of useless info that made it harder to find the right place. I had two ride and they both cost double due to this issue. A dedicate page for parking could help. Then you get 5
Hey why am I required to upload a driving license? Dont you think I wouldn't have a need to use this app if I had a driving license? Furthermore my payment details keep getting rejected without explenation. Highly incompetent app.
Every time I open the app after a few days I didn't use it, the app forgets my driver license details and asks me to scan it again. Happened multiple times, won't use this app again.
This app is by far the worst of all the escooters. It has the potential to be good but it has so many weird quirks. Why the loading bar when you unlock a scooter? It moves so slowly and I've never seen it get past 6% before the scooter unlocks. When you end the ride, instead of taking you directly to the camera, it adds an extra tap in case you want to "Add a photo from the gallery." In what use case would I ever need to do that lmao. Why would I have a photo of my parked scooter already in my gallery. Feel like it should also use an in-app camera view, rather than taking you to the native camera app. Lime and bird do this better. Then the loading bar again after you take the photo! It's never gone past 4% when locking. A lot of pretty unprofessional screens in the app as well, like the contact screen which is... Just a list of email addresses. And why are all the speedometers in kilometers per hour? The whole product feels like it was launched when it was only 75% finished. Just a bit more work and it could be up to par with the rest of the scooters.
1. The app doesnt have customer service option. 2. Couldn't park in the parking places as showed on the map. The GPS detector doesnt work. had to search For parking spot for a long time. 3. Many times happens that I couldn't find scooters even though they are shown on the map.
My battery died and I wasn't able to lock the scooter after my trip. Got charged appropriately for the trip but even though I left the helmet (which was defected) in place I got fined for it . Currently I cannot find any form of customer services to reach and request a refund. The help&FAQ tab in the app doesn't work. Good service overall but if I don't get a refund I doubt I'll use it again.
Support oprion in app is missing. It makes a problem. Twice a day I ordered an hour pass, and after the pass had finished in both cases scooter was locked and I was immediately charged for a missing helmet. + when I tried to return a scooter on a same place I've taken it I gor an error "inoperable area" and can't stop my ride. Had to travel about 1 km to another parking lot. So I paid nis 200 for a helmet that I actually returned and I can't contact support through app. Disappointing.
