Worthless app. Sign into existing account and it accepts logon, and then goes right back to the sign in page...
This app is a hot mess. It has great data and ways to use the data to find what you need and didn't know you might like. But every single time we try to check out there's a problem with what the app let us put in the cart and what it can actually deliver. You often can't check out without manually removing individual bottles of wine that it sees as errors/not found. There are other cart issues. They will hopefully do much better, but in the meantime we are exploring other options.
Very navigable website and the app is great because I can order right on my phone with my stored info, easy peasy. Sign up for the Stewardship program, pay $45 for free shipping for any order for the full year. Totally worth it. I can send a last-minute bottle or two of nice wine to a friend or client across the country and have it there in a few days with no shipping charge which for that small amount would otherwise double the cost of the order. I use it all the time. Highly recommend.
I liked this app but I can not log in. It just keeps taking me back to the log in page
Delivery Poor.... I have been waiting for this order for a week now. Everyday FedEx changes the delivery date. Adult signature needed so I'm home waiting for them to say no one was home and will try again. I don't have time for this FEDEX is a fraud need a new delivery service. Still have yet to receive my order.... First experience is poor
App won't allow me to log on and shuts down after I enter user name and password. I have uninstalled and re-installed twice and the same thing keeps happening. The app is completely useless now. Everything is fine on my laptop but the carts on the app and website don't communicate so I have to find the wines all over again to place my order.
Still can't log in to website or app. Keeps saying try again later!
I've never wasted more time in my life. Just go to the store and buy your wine. You'll live longer without all the stress, especially trying to get your purchase delivered.
Nice app it's easy to use and the selection is great. The only issue is that if you put something in the cart and then later continue shopping on the website instead of the app the cart does not synchronize between the two platforms.
Update 10/18/2021 App doesn't crash but never lets you log in. Half the issue fixed bit still useless if you can't login. This app is broken since the last update. When you try to go to saved wines you enter your user name and password it keeps asking and then the app crashes and closes. Have tried reinstalling still doesn't work.
Great wines, but the app needs a few minor UX enhancements. If I select a new tab or area, there should be a visual indication that my selection was accepted, especially if it's going to take a few seconds to serve that request. Overall decent app, feels a bit clunky.
Frequent discounts and discount codes. The inventory fluctuates a lot, and they often run out of certain wines. They restock, but it's tough to tell whether your favorites are available without checking frequently. The pages take about 3 seconds to refresh, so you need to be patient.
So easy to order!! And prices are almost same as local store. Super fast shipping, I never expected that. You do have to pay a membership per year to avoid shipping costs, but it's worth it with just 1 big shipment! App is very user friendly!
Competitive prices, you can spend hours comparison shopping but at check out many sites have heavey shipping charges. Take advantage of constant promos & it brings average price down further. FEDEX man plopps it down on my counter, no parking, no fighting traffic, no car payment! $10 tip of course. @#*! Owning a car!
I have been ordering here for a number of years and have been a stewardship member as well. Since my first order I have always been able to save 10% on orders through specials the company was running. Since the virus outbreak they are no longer providing that incentive which i find ironic that it aligns with people staying home and ordering more goods online. This is a time people need help and savings, not a time for a company to take advantage and capitalize on a situation. Very disappointed.
Added all to the cart. Entered shipping and payment info. When you click continue nothing happens. Trying for two days now. Now i am frustrated and give up. Bad shopping experience and a waste of time.
Not really liking this site, but selections are good and one of few places where you're not locked into a "package", in other words, selections you don't want. Just makes me mad I couldn't place my order when it gave me free shipping. ??? Seems a little strange....free shipping, then, opps!, not so much. Hopefully I will get my order. Not feeling very hopeful. And no paypal option....definitely not good. Okay, so now I'm nervous.
The website is deceiving. They make you pay a lot in shipping and they are unable to track packages and will blame FedEx if things go wrong. They are so difficult to give you refunds for any problems. Spent almost a week after the scheduled delivery date for a package I never got and they still would only apologize and ask me to keep waiting. App is bad, customer service is as bad as FedEx. Save yourself time and go to a nice wine store where you have your wine as soon as you pay for it.
I thought there would be a handful of questions that my husband & I would answer and then we would receive a good size list of recommendations to try according to what we said we'd like. Since I am not or never have been a big wine drinker, my husband & I always wanted to be one but there are SO many diff wines that it's actually too overwhelming so we have NO idea how to even begin. If the app developer(s) do read this review then that is my suggestion to you for this app. It should include a questionnaire for your customers that will help them narrow down & find the perfect wines to try. Maybe even offer sampling lots/collections for purchase of the recommended wines so that people like my husband & I can taste w/o wasting money on a full bottle that we would prob discard. Think about your return business, because it not only would help us find some favorite wines but then you would also enclose an order form for us to purchase full bottles of our top picks. You could also include all the info about each wine from where the vineyards are to a general breakdown of what the top notes (not sure if "notes" is wine lingo or not but I did say I know nothing about wine) are in each wine so that we can try & detect the notes ourselves. Just an idea.
Don't trust this business. I will never order from them again. They placed two authorization holds on my account for a single order and claimed that the funds were released - they were not. Customer service was not only slow but completely unempathetic, uncaring, and unhelpful. I will never shop from them again and I caution you as well. Shop at your own risk. I don't trust this company. Also the app is extremely glitchy.
Filled my cart with wine for over an hour but won't let me log in to buy it. Website works fine but the cart there is empty. App won't let you log in as others have said. You just get an error message. Confirmed password is correct as it gets me I to my account via the website. No effort to reset password, login with Facebook, or even create a new account works. Wasted a bunch of time!
Slow interactions, sometimes missed clicks. Gets very confusing when hopping around between a couple searches and your cart. BUT I was able to order just fine in the end.
I like the app. They have just about every wine offered in the entire world. Very smart app, knows what you want and helps you find what you're looking for. I appreciate the attention to detail. I would give it 5 stars, but there's always room for becoming better at something, which applies to everyone....but they are definitely headed in the right direction.
Does not work well on Android tablet. Always defaults to portrait view. Highly annoying; I will go back to using the web browser version.
Can't log in. I created an account using Google, but that's not an option for the app. So I logged in with the email and pw I used (Google) and it isn't valid. I tried creating an account using my Google information, and it says I already have an account. I can log on the website, but the app is useless. It's been uninstalled.
I use the given promotions. And the orders get canceled so I end up waiting and loosing all promotions. And the costumer service is a huge mess. So much time lost to track and ask for money return. Just go to total wine or bevmo.
FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!! I downloaded the app because it stated $20 off of $50 which sound like a great deal. Once I downloaded the app and go onto the site, now it states $20 off $100 for new customers only. Well I am a new customer but what happen to the $20 off of $50.

Bought the free shipping package for 1 year. Can order 1 or x# of bottles & no shipping. Perfect for trying new vintners, styles sales. Fits our buying style well. Great advisors, too.
The app automatically adds every single products in the view to the cart. Very annoying. I tried on the mobile browser, and it did the same thing.
