Wingman: Business Card Scanner

I used this app to scan a stack of business cards. It scanned most of the information on the card correctly, mostly missing my handwritten notes and text with weird fonts. In each of these situations, the app informed me that the Wingman concierge was going to manually review. I have an old phone (G3 Beat) and the business card scanning took about 3 seconds for each business card. I would like to be able to scan the back side of the business cards and for it to understand my handwriting.

I've been usin Wingman for free over the past month. I was just asked to sign up for the paid subscription for only $3 a month. You guys at wingman are under charging! Sometimes it doesn't find my card when I'm in the dark. But other than that it's really fast and super accurate.

Impressive app. I installed this app because I was heading to my first conference and figured I'd be picking up some business cards. The LinkedIn and Twitter matches caught my attention. When the app returned LinkedIn I was able to connect while the person was standing there. I got points because I had found this app and it showed a cool social connection feature.

I used Wingman at the Node Atlanta Conference on advice of a friend. wasnt sure about it at first as tech people dont tend to carry around business cards. my friend said it would work on conference badges. and it does! The SUPER COOL PART is that it returned people's GITHUB profiles! in realtime i could follow them on github. super excited about this find.

Zero stars. This is really bad and useless software. They tried to follow through on their promises but the results are useless. I can just type in addresses myself and do better, but who has time? Happy to pay for good software and decent OCR to contacts database but this is not it. Very sad .

TOS and more details are on their website Original review: I like it so far, but Theres a few things about this app that are a bit...odd. mainly a lot of unanswered questions. What does it need my location data for and why does it ask every time i upload a picture? What does "manually reviewed" mean? How many scans do i get on the free version? The faq mentions the "terms and conditions" multiple times. Where are they?

Very easy to use, accurate data extract from scanned cards, and nice integration with contacts in cloud. I love it as makes my life so easy to maintain the contact info.

Wingman was incredibly helpful and is an amazing bisiness card scanner, even on my older phone. Massive thanks to the developers. By far the best business card scanner I have found.

Worst app ever. Didn't scan any of my cards. Just kept saying it was looking for the cards edge. Don't waste your time.
