As others have stated, the app has major flaws with connecting a new device. I have a great deal of experience with networking, and this refuses to connect to any of my 2.4GHz routers. Also, holding the wifi button down for 5 sec just causes it to beep and the light stays off. I had to do a quick press to get the light on. Strange... I recently setup a different device and the app automatically did the wifi registration for me without having to manually connect to the unit's own wifi network for setup. This app should not require users to do this step, as it is very problematic for phones. The unit itself is great so far, but I bought it for the WIFI aspect. Bummer...

Unfortunately, this app is useless. I'm sure Winix believes that they developed an app with helpful features and a slick interface but I (and apparently many others) wouldn't know since it fails to even detect a Winix air purifier (and we have two. ) I tried setting up the app without success using an older phone (Galaxy S7 Edge), newer phone (Galaxy S20 Ultra), iPhone and iPad. Fail.

honestly, this app is so badly written that I now doubt the efficiacy of the unit. the wifi does not connect, and the app is incapable of maintaining the data - so i lose history every time i am forced to go through setup. i am debating returning the device, as the app is complwtelt useless. shame on the company for advertisinf wifi or remote features when they do not work at all. maybe the worst app for a high proce tag product that i have ever seen.

After completely setting up, and connecting the air purifier to my WiFi, phone, and Alexa, the app is constantly saying "Connecting" with no progress. This app simply doesn't work as intended. (EDITED MY RATING) and added an additional star, because I finally got it connected.

So far it's ok, but the app lacks features. If the unit senses fair or bad air quality it should tell me the reason why. I want to know what's in my space. It should also show me history. Two major things this app is lacking. Other than that WiFi connection and unit are working ok for me. I don't seem to have troubles others are having.

Once the purifier if setup and connected to the internet the app will not connect to the device. Continually states, "Connecting...". It has been stuck on this screen for several hours. The app is useless without being able to connect unfortunately.

In the instructions it should advise you to disconnect your mobile connection when setting up the wifi connection. At least in my case it would not connect to it until I did. Just an fyi. I noticed on Amazon reviews lot of people had issues with it.

As everyone wrote it doesn't work .. Took me an hour to connect and then I read the review telling you to hold down the wifi button after getting it to flash until your phone recognizes it. And then it immediately disconnected once I finished setting it all up .. Yes I had it to 2.4 and still doesn't work .. I bought this unit because of the wifi like everyone else and the wifi part doesn't work .. Huh

Purification works well but I purchased this NK105 specifically for wifi which happens to be its worst feature. Its wifi is difficult to establish and frequently requires resetting. Very frustrating. The app itself provides the core information I want, but also fails often on my Samsung S8. The manufacturer should understand if customers state the same complaints it'll hurt sales. Fix the issues!

After some difficulties I was able to connect to the device. The problem is the scheduling feature doesn't work very well. Sometimes it follows the rules sometimes not and I have to override it manually.

Terrible product. Wifi setup does not work. Already had an air purifier that used significantly cheaper HEPA filters. Got this for the "smart" feature. Looks like this one is going back.

App is useless trash at the moment. Followed instructions of other users who got it working, only to find out my unit was gone from the app within about 10 minutes. This app can't even handle the only function it was meant for.

Needs more functionality. Should be able to control plasma function while programming a schedule. Why do the wifi lights stay on all the time? Whats the point of the auto dim feature if these lights stay on constantly?

Connecting a C545 Unit? ... There is a dedicated app for that model ...search again!.. WOULD BE NICE IF THEY ACTALLY PRINTED THAT SOMEWHERE!!!! Seriously lacking standard communication... This is a sad way to pair this product... they should have just partnered with bluetooth. Who are the 3rd parties I am agreeing to in your terms & agreements? Why is access to telephone calls required... strange... I can do without this app.

Works pretty well. Was able to get setup using a Note 8 on Oreo. Here is a hint, tap the wifi on the unit, the light will come on, THEN push and hold until you see the winix network. Please please add Plasma wave operation to the schedule. Would love to be able to run it during the day, but not at night.

App is ok if you can make it work. Turn off or forget your 5ghz WiFi network and data. And connect using your 2.4ghz wifi network which is what you should use to connect your am90. Once connected you can then use data or any wifi to connect to the device.

Can't register or sign in! The app never registers me then when I try to sign in it says the email is active or suspended? I bought this air purifier for the smarts and I cant even use the app to attempt to connect to the app.
