Wink - find & make new snapchat friends

The ide of this app is great don't get me wrong, but the reason I'm rating it so low is because its ridiculously glitchy. Incoming friend requests don't appear. Messages like 'Hey' send by themselves with no way to disable them. The list goes on. Not to mention the amount of bot accounts, the whole app is just a bit of a joke.

Giving this 2 stars is being generous. This app would definitely have revolutionized the world of meeting people online... If it actually worked. Main issue is that whenever I'd get a notification that somebody swiped right on me, the requests area would be blank. Tried reinstalling, clearing the cache, literally everything. Fix your app.

This app is good if you wanna interact with people from different countries. But this app is full of glitches.. Chats got delet. Show wrong active status. It doesn't even show that if the other seen the texts or not. Sometimes text doesn't even sent. And I freaking hate this things about it. Please change this thing and try to solve these problems.

I really love my experience on wink Before but the recent update got worse bug on whenever add someone it will automatically send messages to the person without you even knowing it. Lots of free features got remove those were the one I used to love because it's free. Gems are now basically useless because you Can't add or scroll profiles anymore due to the bug. I hope this thing get fixed.

I honestly do not like this app. I have to keep trying to verify my profile over and over again daily, and not to mention I can't read messages that other people send me I've had this app for about over a year and no matter what they never fix the problems, they may change it up but it will always have problems like all the other times they have changed up the app. If it was possible to give this app negitive stars I'd give it a - 3

Idk what's going on but this app is falling apart, it's full of bots, daily login in doesn't work correctly, messages never show up, and now as I'm swiping through people, the app randomly goes back to someone that I already swiped left or right, mostly when I swipe right, which makes me lose more gems. This app used to be pretty good.

I like the app overall but I have two problems. First problems is when I get a notification that someone sent a friend request to me, I tap on it to view the profile, it takes me to my requests or whatever and there it says no requests but I know there are alot of them and at a random time (not this year) the requests come up. Second problem is I cant see the messages when I know people are sending me messages. Before that came a problem. I was texting a person when another texted. Didnt come up

I used to love this app but it has stopped working completly! As of the past few months I haven't been able to see or accept any requests, see any profiles to scroll through at all no matter what, and messages aren't popping up anymore. I hope this gets fixed but for now I think I will delete the app... until it gets back to working COMPLETLY again I won't be downloading it... Update: so I see that they made it so there is a limit to how many requests you get and gotta pay for more...tf.

It's a good app. As a 13 year old who is an introvert and has no social life whatsoever, I find thus an easy and good app to use to make friends, since I don't have any irl at the moment. Haven't made many friends yet, haven't used the app for a while, but I still think it has good potential.

Great concept, terrible implementation. There are so many bugs and glitches, chats disappear, you receive a notification that someone texted you and yet no msg can be seen. The amount of friends displayed on the profile is not true and the score keeps going down instead of up. What once was a 1K+ score went down to 400ish. Created another account and went from 100 to 60ish points overnight. Had contacted the wink team about it and told me this shouldn't happen..well it did and not only to me.

I don't know what happened, but I have completely stopped receiving friend requests as if I have been completely removed from the app. I can still open the app and load in just fine, it's just the fact that I have no longer been able to get a friend request from anybody, including the bots. Usually I would be getting at least 5 friend requests from real people and 30 from bots, but lately I only got 0 for the past 3 months.

So far it's okay, only problems are, for some of the chats, they don't show up in the messages section and i have to access them through the profile of the person i am talking to, also chat notifications only show while I'm on the app, basically no push notifications when I'm off the app. And also when I try to add ppl on snap it doesn't work, it says "oops something went wrong"

Still on the fence with this one 4 days in and I have interacted with quite a few nice people, the UI is friendly to use, you get free credit so it's practical free and cheap to upgrade PlayStation monthly equivalent or so. I will keep using and update later till then good id say job devs.

I used to be deeply in love with this app, it was great. Then you started removing features and adding in super invasive ones. I don't want the app to force a. "Hi/Hey/Hello" to people I didn't plan on texting first. I don't want the app to be super difficult to figure out and use. I want to be able to copy text, report it or reply to it like the feature on discord or Snapchat. So much could be improved on bur you are butchering it. I don't wanna uninstall the app but you're forcing my hand.

Never have I had an app as buggy as this. Everytime I get a notification about receiving a new message and click it, there's nothing new in my inbox. It's like they disappear if you use your notifications And I HATE when you connect with someone it automatically says 'Hi'

Originally this was a pretty decent app and I met some interesting people. Then a few weeks ago conversations stopped updating so you could never tell when you received a new one or some would disappear. Now this week everytime you match with someone it sends an automated greeting on your behalf. This is never going to work and will only drive people away!

I like this app because I've a lot of friends in here. The only problem is that it's full of bugs and glitches,sometimes my friend requests don't appear, messages get deleted and much more. I wish that those problems would be solved in the future:)

Review referring to v4.20.1 (date: May 7th 2022) -It's not the smoothest app but I feel the developers are working on the bugs and glitches. They still need to work the snapchat link issue though -yes, bots and scammers exist just like they do everywhere else. But at the same time, they're not difficult to spot 🤷🏻‍♂️ -I got over the automated message thing. It's still awkward but I have my ways to work around it 🤷🏻‍♂️

It is good app when it was in it's earlier days but from 2021-2022 it has gone down hill. The problem I am having is the invite 5 friends doesn't work when you try it and it says error message. Please could you solve this issue.

It's a great app for meeting new people and I really like to use it but sometimes when you text a new person their chat doesn't appear in the chat section and then you aren't able to continue to text them and I even mailed this issue to you guys but I haven't received any response yet so see if you can solve this issue coz I've heard the same from many other users as well :)

When it works it works alright but so many bugs, Giving notifications and then showing that no one had added you. Not Giving the proper amount of gems/randomly subtracting gems. Also not showing text conversations in the dms page. Needs an update and bug fix. Please add options fod your state instead of worldwide vs your country

What's the point of downloading this app if you can't get past the section where you put your birth date in. It won't move past this section as the button doesn't work to accept it. I've uninstalled, reinstalled and it still freezes in the date section. Disappointing.
