WINK News

I try to stay current on local events. You border on the sensational & use hyberbole: It will feel like 110 degrees today. You should also let people know that thermometers will say 95. The heat index is not real. I like news that can give it to me straight, no hype. I don't watch video anything because it's so slow, & people are hard to understand. Reading is much faster! I can't shut off the A/V! Ft Myers networks have a long way to go. Yours is the best of a bad lot.

Pretty good app. Only problem is that some times a notification takes you to the live broadcast instead of the story in the notification. And then it's difficult to find the story if not impossible.

App works fine, the problem is the content. Most times when you tap a story notification it takes you to their live broadcast, not to the story you wanted to see. Frustrating.

50/50 you never know if you're going to be able to watch the streaming newscast. Sometimes the newsfeed breaks and you're not able to get any video at all it really is only 50/50 shot that you'll get to catch the streaming newscast Update: 05,13,21 Won't open . Just says wink news

Great app. But I gave it a 4 star because when you connect to the app through your notification, you end up at a live view and not the story the notification was notifying you about.

Why is it that so many Wink story's end with something like " Wink news has reached out to the sheriff's office for details but have not heard back from them. Trust WINK news to give you the latest updates on this story!" Then you never hear another word!!? Fox news won't take, No comment, un answered calls or we will get back to you as details become available etc as an answer WINK needs to be more aggressive or better yet stop being intimidated by LCSO,FMPD etc.

I really like the Wink News and weather apps. They are very informative. I would like to thank Matt Devitt for helping me via text message to help me setting up the weather app and also how to access the Facebook live segments. Matt is a great Meterologist with a great sense of humor. I hope he is on WINK weather for years to come.

Didn't like the app at all. Doesn't not give local news. Cannot search for current or old news articles. More annoying than informative.

Worst news app. I tried reading 4 different news stories and they all came up as the same one. Most of the time you can't read the story you are trying to read.

Good for local news and weather, but use only highly biased articles as their national news source. Look elsewhere for what's actually going on in the country and good luck finding it.

The app is pretty good. I just installed the latest version and it works fine. Unfortunately, Wink News is an extremely liberal biased local news channel. Matt Devitt is a good weather man though.

App has links for where to get the Covid vaccine. But you have to read through the news items to spot the links. Perhaps a separate section with just links.

I really like this app, I like the fact that i can watch the news from this app. we have Dish Network and Wink CBS has been removed so i miss watching the 12:00 and 11:00, News, so I can watch here. very informative, and I get notified on breaking News and Weather.

with the new updates, selecting the news alert no longer takes you to the story. in fact it is very difficult to find the story

As Canadian snowbirds, we always use WINK news and WINK weather apps to keep informed as to what is happening in south Florida. WINK news and weather are Number 1!

Too many stories that are not really news! Keep it local to Florida. National coverage is abysmal and skewed by political leanings.

Can there be an option to not show live newscasts. If I'm on my phone I want to read the article not be taken to your broadcast. I would turn on the TV if I wanted to watch it.

They tell you for more on the story go to the app. I can never find the story. It was better before their last change.

I've been watching WINK since Jim Farrel had just started 94 I think. Great news and weather coverage. Enjoy them on my mobile devices aswell!

Everytime I try to go to a story alert it takes me to live news. I want to read about the alert.

Up to date news. Easy to use. Great application

I have only been using this app for a very short time.The information is always up to date,and clear.

App has been acting weird lately slow some stories don't open up . Why ? Definite need of an update !!
