Winnipeg Bus Live

When it's working properly, it's great but it's not always reliable. Sometimes the arrival time shown in the app is synced with the bus, other times it's not. I've missed buses because the app says it's still 5 minutes away but then I see the bus drive by the stop. The app doesn't always refresh. When showing the schedule of a stop, sometimes it updates the time on it's own but sometimes I have to press the refresh button. Inconsistent. I would rate higher if this got fixed.

It shows nearby stops, but that's about it. You're way better off getting real-time updates from fellow riders by using the app called Transit. That app also support many other cities around the world, and not just Winnipeg. I switched after several years of using this one, and it's been a better experience.

Gives accurate timings but the favourites (star) could use some improvements. Maybe give an option to show the saved stops at the top in order of closeness. When you open the app, screen is filled will all the stops that you aren't really interested in. Most people that use this app are checking bus times at stops they always go to and they normally check on the way to the stop not at the stop.

This app has been really good to me. I use it almost every day and it actually gives me accurate time. This is especially good during winter when I can leave exactly 15 minutes before rather than do what the Winnipeg transit says online. My only issue is that I wish that I can organize the bus stops in anyway that is comfortable for me. Especially when I accidentally unfavour a bus stop and it's one I constantly use but now have to drag myself to the bottom and let me tell you, I don't want to do that during winter, in the -30s and having to take off my gloves to do so. If we can have an option to organize the bus stops that would be great :)

It's more reliable than not, but I had a few weird moments with this app, where all buses say extremely late and one canceled then I get on a bus thinking I can't catch a latter one so i leave early and after I refresh it after getting on the bus it all says okay and nothing canceled 😳

inaccuraty has increased. bus sometimes disappear and then suddenly show up on the list. i used to rely on this app when i started traveling for the first time but now i don't rely on this due to experience.

This is a pretty solid app and makes commuting much easier. I'd give it 5 stars if the app had links to route maps, so I didn't have to refer back to the transit website. Edited: Wonderful! Thanks for working on route maps.

This is the 8th time where it'll say my bus is going to show up at a certain time, and then doesn't. It then disappears completely once it gets to "3 minutes". Each time it requires waiting for the next bus. I'm assuming that the schedules just need to be updated. This is a problem when you're trying to get on a specific route. One scenario: my bus goes from 10 minutes to 5 in a few minutes. So either the bus is going way over the speed limit or there's something in the back-end with scheduling

App most of the time works well. There are few issues I am facing since last month or two. 1. Timing seems to be inaccurate. Sometimes it shows bus 4-6 minute away though you can see bus about to stop at you. 2. Bus shows as cancelled, but bus is late. 3. Somtimes it shows bus 10 min away & next minute you check, bus is 2 min away. These issues not very frequent & so 4 stars.

Its simple design and user interface makes this an essential app when using Winnipeg transit. However, the app does not plan out your route, therefore you should be familiar with the buses and connections you need to take.

Find this app is very accurate with when bus arrives at stop you at, thanks! Really helps alot as winter time rolls around the corner becomes without a doubt very handy indeed! So thank you very much as like myself and others in same situation will find this app very helpful and handy!

It's a good app. I need to use another app when planning routes that require a transfer or when I need to know hours in advance, but this one is far more accurate with current times, so I use this to verify the other one.

Missed my bus a few times when it said 3 minutes late but was actually early by a minute. Used this so i can try and guage the right time up to my stop so i dont have to wait in cold weather but it hasnt been correct yet. Great idea this app but it just hasnt worked for me

Fix your app please. It keeps giving me times for buses going the opposite direction from my stops. Its caused me to be late 3 times this week. Not a bad app otherwise.

Its difficult to stand at bus stop for half an hour during winter. Most of the times it shows inaccurate time for arrival of the bus, worst app.

The perfect bus app for Winnipeg. It's plugged into the city's GPS system and works without any issues.

Again, all the clock timing of all stops are like two minutes behind. I'm always missing my bus with this app. Use wpg nxt bus app as a guide, developer. i just hate their UI...

I have been very impressed with this app since first used. Simple to use. Accurate. Saves wasting time at bus stop.

This app works well but lately has a 2 minute discrepancy, meaning a bus that will arrive 1 minute from now will show as 3 minutes away.

The new update made the times even more inaccurate than ever! Especially with the 75 to U of M. it will say 9 mins then jump to early 2 mins.

It's not accurate at all. I'm going to use google maps. Says it's late when it's on time frequently.

Times are as much as 3 minutes off! It says the bus is 3 minutes away as it arrives at the stop.

I think this app is pretty acurate and whatnot so yeah I give it a thumbs up. Yeah sure you should download this app if you want free bus times an whatnot so yeah

Doesn't get the buses right. I'm writing a review now because I watched the bus go by but the app says 3 minutes away even though it clearly just passed me.

The best app for telling current bus schedule. Even better than using Winnipeg transit's own app
