They have an option in the settings to allow you to sign in with a four digit code. This used to work perfectly. Now every few times I log in it resets that code and makes me sign in with my username and password. I have it saved. I just don't understand what the situation is. Fix this bug!
Ever since the app has changed recently, I have had nothing but problems. I called tech support and did exactly what the told me too and still nothing but problems. It does not remember my passcode so every single time I check my account balance it tells me I have to put my username password and makes me wait for a text message with a security code. It then shuts down my pass code enabling my fingerprint setting and I never use that. I am beyond frustrated. These bugs need fixed ASAP.
For two weeks been trying to get Zelle to work in the app but for some reason money is never making it to my account and I can't send money either though my friend swears she sent it and it left her account. So where did it go? I've been on the phone with Wintrust and Zelle. The app always asks me to put in my phone number to authenticate my account. I've done it six times with the same number. I deleted it. It's too stressful to deal with. Fix your app Wintrust. Times I miss the Chase app.
This app works as intended maybe 5% of the time. The rest of the time, the app gives an "Invalid User ID/Password" error message, even when I put in the correct login info. If I do manage to log in, the app often crashes or freezes, making it unusable.
Not sure what is going on but despite having my phone and apps all updated it is telling me, "update required; your application version is incompatible with the server. Please update your application." I want to use zelle to send money and now I can't even do that or get into my account. Please undo what you gius have done. I have a galaxy s10+, on wifi, and I manually checked and everything is updated, apps and phone included. Thank you
The worst app !! I constantly is asking me to verify myself, confirm this ,confirm that, sending confirmation all the time. password all the time even though I try to use fingerprint option and it goes back to password. Extremely frustrating and inconvenient. This is why I will be switching banks because I use my phone for almost everything !! ZERO STARS even though I put one star! YOUR A BANK YOU CAN AFFORD TO GET A BETTER APP !!!
Truly an awful experience all the way through. You need to put in your password and user id multiple times while going through the app to do even basic things.
I never had an issue with the app. ive had chase and bank of America in the past; its a similar banking app; relax 1st world problems The only reason i gave it 4 stars was when i need a routing/account # i would have to call the back of the card🤷♀️ seriously not a big deal
Can we ever expect an update fixing the fingerprint log in functionality? This is very frustrating and making me rethink banking with wintrust.
Used to be great. Now, everytime I want to login it tells me "Authentication Required" and often it continues to do so even after I enter username and password. This is completely unacceptable.
Not working 😕 never let's you log and when you get in it asked you 3 to 4 time to get codes ugh not good please fix. Please can't change deposit email to a different one. I have deleted my cell # to the banking apps on phone and pc and still wouldn't fix it called the bank and they don't know either ...not to happy
I frequently get a message after signing in stating a restart ks required for uodate. I restart and the same message appears. Also, I have no update in Google Play fir Wintrust or Village Bank
Need to text verify every time I want to check balance. No option to turn it off, I think it's a bug though.
ATM and Branch Locator crashes and closes app after update. No Face ID/Touch ID feature still not available. Not good.
Intermittent outages which doesn't allow account access. Needs to be updated to fix these bugs.
Sometimes(like right now) the app doesnt even open so i cant see how much is in my account. Ive never had this happen regularly with any other banking app.
Does not work outside business hours. Crashes, freezes, never loads properly. You would think a bank this big could create and have the ability to make a functional app.
Unable to log in to either of my accounts. Installed but have never actually used it. Hope someone fixes it someday!
Doesn't allow separate log ins for joint accounts. When one person logs in the other is kicked out. Poor tech for a good sized bank.
I have downloaded it 3 times and to uninstall 3 times all because a white screen shows up. For being updated I shouldn't have to have so much trouble in this
Horrible app....frequently won't load and sign on, have to uninstall and reinstall app. this time just uninstalling and closing acct at bank.
App is horrible as a new customer is very frustrating that it never works..
My Zelle stop working without warning. The app is up to date, yet the Zelle fails to load when clicked.
App doesn't allow me to use finger print login anymore. Have to input all information in every time I use it
What a deeply frustrating experience. Fingerprint authentication works about one out of every 10 times you try to log in. Doesn't accept the security code it texts to you. Prompts you to re-register repeatedly despite being registered. Truly a hellacious app and will probably be the reason I don't keep my wintrust accounts long term.
