WION News

The news quality from WION is excellent. Love Palki. The app works fine for me, however I wish I could turn off the IPL, sports and entertainment sections. I unchecked them in the settings and changed the order but that didn't seem to have any effect. I still get the notifications and they still show up on the main page and the sections at the top.

I have recently found WION and have been enjoying the content a lot. To my surprise, after installing this app on my tablet, I found that there is no optimization for use on tablets. In particular, I do my reading on my tablet in landscape orientation, but this app does not have support for that. Until this support is added, I can't use this app on my tablet which is very disappointing.

Hi, In my earlier onservation, I had mentioned that the app randomly closes and freezes and also causes problems to the OS. Well, that seems to have been addressed - though not much. Today I was reading an article and the app shut down and returned me to the home page. But before that, the app froze and the scrolling jammed and stopped. Please fix this as soon as possible. Reporting and content is good. But the app could do with a lot of improvements. 1. Plz add a search option. It helps in enabling us to search specific articles. 2. Give the option to create more lists. Like Pinterest allows for varied boards and utube does for playlist. It's kinda irritating to add all favorite articles into one long list. 3. Add a science and tech news section. Like a section dedicated to news related to science and tech developments. Like the xenobots or spacecraft launch

There are currently some issues with screen rotation. Yesterday it was working fine. I'm not sure if it had some updates today. The app seems really good. I hope you add a video search feature for those who just want to watch videos. I tested it yesterday and the search feature only works for articles. I'll support your app. Keep up the good work!

One of the finest apps with the best content for the news. The problem with the app is everytime we open from the notification it shows wion which consumes time and we run out of patience to see the news and end up clearing the notifications so please fix this thing. It's better if the notification opens quickly.

Hi. Was a great app. I had to reinstall the app 2 days ago. Since then, it does not display news stories from different hot topics by tab. I only get the live TV link that works (with a bunch of advts). How do I get my news articles back? It doesn't allow me to register through Google acct either. Keeps crashing.

App says Android 5.0 and up. I have Android 7.0. But the App keeps crashing. Changing font size is a useful feature but does not work. If these issues are fixed, it will be a great App to use. Looks like easy to use App.

Finally able to read honest news in India. App is good. Takes long time to load when clicking from notification. Allowing to open twitter app when clicking on a tweet embedded on the page would be better, instead of trying to load twitter within wion app. Otherwise great.

App is buggy and weird compared to the website. Half the videos don't load, video resolution settings do nothing, videos won't rotate or maximise and there is NO Gravitas section as stated in the Google Play description, which is primarily why I installed it. Totally different layout to stories on their website makes it hard to navigate = useless app = uninstalled! 👎

Wonderful reporting , I had one concern, so I usually like to watch my news at 1.5x speed so that i can wrap up with the latest headlines ASAP and I don't have to wait for a longer time. I noticed the app doesn't have the option to speed up the video speed

I like that I can access all of WION news from their own app without interference of outside media platforms. A little refining still required for landscape video watching, but in portrait view all is good. I do miss the possibility though to interact with content as I am used to on social media. Perhaps Wion will add this later on?

App is consuming lot of data. For 10 mins of usage consumes 700 MB data. On the news detail page the images are not loading properly. Video autoplay needs to be addresses. Slidesshow timing is not enough to read full story.

There is some issue with this app. If we click the notification it never redirects to the app if we want to see the complete news. Your content is good but what's the use if it is not user friendly?

My experience has been excellent so far. I hope WION wouldn't go the way of aljazeera. I love objectivity in news reportage as this help one have a balance view of happenings around the world without being bias. GRAVITAS is good, short but very concise and lucid to grab. Keep it up please.

When I click on the news notification it opens the app and shows headline and the first paragraph of the news. How am I supposed yo read the whole article??? There is no option to click to read the whole article either. It's syper annoying and honestly I can't believe something like this was allowed to happen by the developers team. Only way I can read the news is to share the article and open the shared link in a browser. If you want me to open the website then atleast provide a button for this

I love ❤️ the layout of the app. I love WION news. I am looking forward to direct notification so I am well informed. WION's journalism searches for the balance of things and gives you what they have researched. The app has all their articles, both written and video taped. I look forward to hearing truth, which is rare these days on America's commercial corporate giant news casters that are biased, slanted, and edited to their own agendas.

Very impressive and impartial reporting. Those era of dependency to biased conventional news medias for world news is over. The whole world seeing news updates through various sources and one can ascertain in his own actually what's happening around the world. The presentation of the contents are very simple, brief and pleasant to the eyes too..

Thanks for providing Unbiased News, Your Content is the best and most reliable I have Tried using Wion Mobile app but its bandwidth usage is very high, even when we open a news to read the video linked in the NEWS page starts to load full video and consumes bandwidth. loading time is also long.it will be great if you could fix it

As a Canadian, I am always looking for news sources outside of my own country that can paint a broader picture of international news. It is interesting to see these same stories from a different and seemingly well-researched perspective. Now that I've tuned in for a while, I commend WION for their attention to detail and well thought out coverage of international news. It's always very much to the point and isn't full of fluff and suggestions.

Wion is a great channel. . And these days my very favourite news platform for decent real crisp news. . I hope your App could have been more user friendly. . There are few things I wanna point out : 1. Wion App takes a lot more time to open than other apps like inshorts etc. 2. The News are not very well organised on platform , there should be an interactive home page of News Categories may be . . 3. Also, opening time of various links within app should take less time. . @wion

please cure this google ads illness from this app, you don't need it, or atleast give us some buying option like pro so we don't have to look at those useless google ads, really, it gave an impression like it's some rookie app or news agency while it's not true, you are the best and my favourite news portal for the last few years now. Best news app and it takes care of all of the Countries without any discrimination and bias. It is neutral. Live TV is the best! We can see at that moment or any of the past news from anywhere when we travel. Please put subtitles in English when specials are on Hindi only. It is a global TV and you need to think about non Hindi population and cater them too! MANY THANKS WION.

Journalism is weak in many areas. Outstanding in others. A great distaste for the west i.e. (the United States). Any chance to take a shot at US without reporting all the facts is taken. "Gravitas" again does not give sources in some of its reporting, just "It is said", well if you can't say then you should make it clear that the sources are verified. Its great to see and hear what other news sources are saying but if speaking from a Journalist mountain top, ensure you have good footing.

WION news is very good. I found their presentation and analysis is outstanding on any topics. I would suggest them to develop and work with leading internet provider in different countries. I wish WION would comes as a top news app in their news app list.

I got used to watching WION News when the LAC was crossed by China in the past few years. I think it's a great news app that shows the true narrative on things. I've learned so much just in the history they have talked about I didn't have a clue on.

We like that WION gives an entirely different perspective from mainstream trash media. We like this because we are tired of hearing the same things on everything station. WION brings in a diversity that has been missing from mainstream media for the few decades. Thanks WION.

I'm failing to understand why people give you such high ratings on this app. 1 Trend Micro review this as unsafe, 2. This app is loaded 53 ads(I removed) this thing still need some effort of good work, yet it has useful information but performance wise it lacks, it keeps on crashing when opened over 3minutes especially when playing video I removed those ads now it works fine.. This app can't be spoiled by eralavent ads to us we wanted news not ads
