Worthless, the app and the device. It takes for ever to upload from a mobile device to the drive. Once it's on the device there is no option thru the application to be able to delete photos, videos, files.
I can view and stream videos, pictures and documents from my Android phone wirelessly. I just cannot copy and transfer files to and from SSD.
The whole interface is very cumbersome, immature and not at all user friendly. I did expect more from a renowned technology company. Make it user friendly and increase flexibility in how to transfer and access files. Why do I get duplicate files when regularly backing up files? The device is great, the software is rubbish.
It just hangs at the login prompt, never logs in. You can access it with the Chrome browser from the phone, using the regular web interface. But this is clumsy on the small screen.
This app would be better if I could choose files and upload them to the drive without having to view the image or watch the video. Same vice versa.
Ask it to backup and it does absolutely nothing!
To use it I have to connect to the device ssid. But the phone reports the link is unstable.and the app crashes everyone in less than 1 second. Useless. If I don't turn off auto scanning of networks the Wi-Fi link dips immediately. If I do turn this off then the app crashes instantly. Waste of money even buying the wireless ssd it links to!!!! Very very disappointed. And the instruction manual is useless! No help on this as it is a single side of paper!
Samsung Note 4 running Marshmallow. Backed up about 23 pictures of 2,200.. failed on all the rest. No indication as to why. Not a very intuitive app so far.
Great compact size, but the interface is not user friendly.
Cant delete files once downloaded. Took forever to transfer files from mobile. Cant group select folder or files to upload to ssd. Cant even open video to transfer without crashing. So disasspointing.
