WireTap Detection (Anti Spy)
Then you should install this App.
This App will detect attempts to VoiceTap your Device.
Extremely easy to use.
Make sure that the NSA and the FBI are not Tapping your Phone!(Or your boy/girl-friend, spouse, boss, parents, etc.)
There may be Apps planted on your Device that have the capability to Listen to your Phone Calls, and/or make Voice Recordings from the Microphone, and send them via Internet to an Unknown Receiver. Without your knowledge or consent!
Some Spy Apps may even secretly set up automatic Hidden Phone Calls to or from your Phone, to listen in on you. Hidden Calls are Remotely Controlled and silently set up to or from your Phone, e.g. when you are not using it yourself.
This App
- "WireTap Detection"
- will protect you from being spied on in these ways, by Detecting all attempts to Tap your Phone. Before you want to make a Recording yourself
- or a VoIP (e.g. Skype) Call
- simply touch a button to DISABLE the App.
If you have a Tablet (without Phone Capabilities), you can use this App in the same way, to Detect attempts to Spy on you by making Recordings from the Microphone.
Nothing could be simpler.
A Status Notification will show when WireTap Detection is Enabled.

This Unique App seems to be One Of A Kind.We have not found any other App with the same capabilities.
All Options are Enabled by default.You should have a look at them (on the Settings Page). May be you want to Disable some of the Options.
Please note that it is only possible to check whether a Microphone Recording is Ongoing or not, at the fixed Intervals selected by you, e.g. once per minute, once per 10 minutes, etc. A shorter Period increases the likelihood of detecting a Mic Recording, but the Battery Consumption may increase slightly. So you should find your own compromise between Detection Probability and Battery Consumption.
Detection of Phone Call Recordings is independent of this Checking Period, as it is limited by the Start and End of the Call.
You may optionally verify that the Periodic Microphone Checking is working, by enabling a Text Notification each time the Microphone is checked.
Due to software differences between various Phones, it may be necessary to adjust a Sensibility value to suit your Device. If you should experience MANY Normal Calls as being registered as Hidden, you should LOWER the Sensibility Factor (found on the Settings Page).
If you should experience some real WireTapping Alerts, you should use our "SpyWare Removal" app to try to identify the App causing the problem, and remove it.
To start with, you will probably mostly be alerted by your own apps, e.g. when you are using a Normal Audio Recording App, or Recording Calls. These are also good for testing this app.
Please note that this App does NOT detect Spying on SMSs, Emails, etc.(However, from Android version 4.4, it is no longer possible to hide Sent or Received SMSs. They can all be found in the List/Log of SMSs on your Device.)

This is a great app. I think that on setup you should be given a simple option to set it at default or at extreme settings, rather than having to search through item by item to increase its effectiveness... Less technically minded users probably miss important settings. I think the event log should show all events in a week or month, rather than just ten events. It should also have the option to save the event log and search archives for patterns. A feature to warn you of numbers that attract more attention using simple percentage s should exist. Those are the list of features I would pay for. Hire me as a tester.
Seems to work. Always informs me when the phones microphone is turned on but I've never actually told someone to try and tap into my phone so I can't actually be sure if it is missing any actual wiretaps. Plus I'm sure that if the government had a legal judicially approved wiretap I'm sure that the programmers wouldn't be allowed to let the app inform me that there was in fact a legal tap detected or they could probably be charged with obstruction of justice or something.
I love the app. Although it has never really logged anything. Other than that .. maybe being able to set a radius or perimeter of say 50 miles or 100 ? For a certain plane , or any plane. Maybe UAV detection of some sort ?
This app shows that every time u make a call , it gets disabled- due to system overload , which they tell u that u can disable. But when u disable it from shutting down at " system overload " it still shuts off when u make a call. Which makes this a useless app. And gives u false sense of safety when calling your bank, etc.
It is a good app and i thought and felt like someone has been listening to my conversations but couldn't prove it. the only thing i wish it told you who was listening especially when it could be a freak. I also have shown the RCMP and they are looking into it. Over all good but i do really wish it said who or where the person is that is listening to your conversation something more would be nice.
This app is only able to detect one thing I noticed, whatsapp when am making call, it is not able to detect when the government is wire tapping your line. I can detect when someone is wire tapping my line without the app base on how what Edward snowden said and the way I set my phone and the difference thing and sound to look for. So far this app is limited.
I am pleased to have found this app and I've been using it since the beginning of the year.. I wanted to see how it went before reviewing it.. For me it is perfect. It does what it says. And I had my suspensions anyway... For people that say why do you have to give permission for the mic well read the whole description and you'll see why. Also you can adjust the Mic if you read.. Thank you for the App I intend to use it for the right purposes like my right to privacy being addressed..
I don't understand why I need to allow this app to use MY phone's mic to record. That being said, in my phone's permissions I disabled all the permissions with no problem, like I do with most of my apps. I'd like to give this app 5-stars, and will if that gets put on the info page for the app. I'd like to give it 5-stars because of the social justice of the app's creator(s), lack of crazy bothersome ads, and its user-friendliness, and of course the small data for the install. Here's hoping it works!
i installed this app after getting a new phone (last one bugged) This app alerted me that an incoming call from Facebook messenger was being recorded, i could actually hear the echo. and told the other person it was being monitored, i then rang them normally without issue, unfortunately the app didn't tell me who was listening in. so 4* for now.
Great app. Could use more of an in depth report about each logged event, as well as an alert as the event is happening (while on the phone etc...) Otherwise great job and keep up the fight for our rights to privacy!
Is a great app works really well. if u dont have it, the call log at the bottom of the settings page keeps a detailed list of all the events taking place on your phone. Thats why u should have it!
I love this app. I could tell by the different noises the device would make when I made a call, during calls, etc. Now I know for sure, my line is tapped. The next questions are who and why. I'll let the investigators handle. I got them start, others conclude, team effort as it should be. Thanks everyone.
WireTap Detection, is good! It works 100%. I sincerely am enjoying it. An individual was listening in and they had to stop. So far, they have not been able to since installation of the app. It is ultra-easy to use, even the settings menu is user-friendly. Thank you to the developers.
