Wonderful community. Support, education, and friendship. We help each other, and offer a virtual hand to hold.
This app is really amazing and is connecting me to people who can relate to me. It is helping me mentally by a lot!
Its got some work of course, better interface, easier to join new groups, better notification system, and so on. I like it, it helps. Butttt, it keeps crashing on me. After a week or so, maybe two, I'll go to open it and I'm stuck on the opening screen. It's happened twice now, I have to uninstal and reinstal it to fix it. Not sure if its a problem on my end, but it's annoying
I started my account in January and its amazing, but then the app stopped working and wouldn't allow me to open it, repeated crashes. I deleted the app and have reinstalled and the app opens, but I cant sign into my account, I just get an error message. I also can't create a new account, once everything is completed I click done and it just loads endlessly. Could the developer please message me so we can get this figured out.
Wonderful idea but very clunky. Lovely but has a long way to go. User interface is kind of confusing and cluttered. Notifications are too cluttered as well and should be consolidated. A lot of push notifications for the very little amount I've interacted with others. I think that threads should be consolidated into one thread, rather than each reply coming up as a chat because it makes it very cluttered. And why are old messages not visible? I was having a great conversation with someone.
wisdo is a very helpful app with many friendly people but most people on there need to actually connect with someone and I understand its for safety reasons but I would appreciate a "local" option so we can meet people who feel how we feel instead of texting back and forth with someone who's on the other side of the world.
This app is brilliant, you can help others while being helped, people need people, I need you just as much as you need me. And the app does have a small fee, but it is a complex service I understand the need to pay and honestly if you really don't have the money I'm sure if you contacted the developer with a real reason they would accommodate you, but the app has access to help without paying.
When I downloaded the app, It won't let me join communities. it says error everytime I try to get past the setting up your profile part.
Wisdo has opened my eyes to how many others are having the same problems i have/had. Being able to share whats happening too myself with others is like a breath of fresh air. I have been using the Wisdo Ap for quite some time now. The more i use it the more im convinced of the value of it. Not only does it allow us to talk out personal problems but to recive guidance from other members as well. Its a two way chat that helps both parties to benifit. I learn from talking to others as well.
DO NOT USE APP IF YOU CANNOT BUY IT. I feel as though it can help if either it was paid for, or generates income through advertisement revenue. I believe that it is dangerous and extremely morally unethical to develop an app where you can message someone but only for a certain period. I was in contact with a vulnerabile person who doesn't trust easily. I have no way of contacting her now and her trust is probably destroyed because I can't get in contact. Find alternative revenue or end app!
This app could be more helpful if it allowed you to find nearby friends who suffer from similar disorders such as anxiety and depression. This is really an unprofessional theropeutic app that connects you with anyone in the world who is expected to give you online advice. It would be more beneficial if the app was geared towards connecting people in person.
I try to sign up via phone number. after adding an extra digit, it sends a verification code to a completely with two digits missing, and the rest scrambled. Coding problems right off the bat. The ad, conveys genuine feeling, i respect that. However, it needs work folks. Sorry.
would be nice if I could actually message people. I literally can't message anyone because my email needs verification. in my emails when I click the verification link, it takes me to the app to sign up. i emailed a worker for Wisdo and she said she would resolve this for me. that was june 10th. still haven't been contacted any further. guess I'm deleting the app since I cant use it and they wont help. what a shame.
Had this app back in 2019 I think and it was alright. Had potential and pretty much liked it for the most part. I returned back today (2022) and now you have to pay for basically everything. It just seems so wrong because you used to be able to be in multiple communities now you basically get nothing. Not worth it at all.
It's a great concept but seems clunky in its execution. Particularly frustrating that there doesn't seem to be a way to unlist an experience once you've added it. That prevents the app from growing and changing with the user
I love this app, the concept, the design and the community! it's a great way to get advice and help others through the experiences you've had. I would like to make one suggestion though: The messages/chats section is very crowded, could there be a way to separate chats with people and that's with experiences, and be able to star chats that are important? Thank you!
It's a great app! My only problem with it is I don't see a way to get notifications in my phone when I'm sent a private message which would be great. *edit* the notification issue was something in my phone settings, not the app, and has now been fixed.
I loved it but then it locked me out... It won't open the app and when I tried to uninstall it, and then reload the app, it will not even get me to my account.... it is supper frustrating.... any ideas? I can't even log in with my password that I reset! it keep saying that there's an internal server error this is so frustrating I love the app of please fix this ASAP! I even emailed wisdo and I have not heard anything back this was almost a week ago
Wisdo is a great and supportive app, to help you communicate with other people who maybe going through the same things as you, it's a great way to show support and be supported by people in a similar situation. Some people may have depression, anxiety, relationship troubles and it's great to start a convo with someone and get great advice and help (:
Originally found the app on a snapchat ad, had to try it out. I was formerly a guide (didn't have time to keep up with it awhile back) and now a helper for the app on iOS. The buddy system is great. I love pairing with these people that hand-picked me to talk to, and then afterwards receiving a nice review from them thanking me for everything. It's the best feeling. The dev/guide team is super nice. You see a lot of the same faces around aswell, like a cozy little family. 5 Stars.
This app is amazing! It is great to talk to peers who can relate, and especially that you don't know them personally... Allows you to feel less judged. It is slightly frustrating that the Android and iPhone versions are slightly different, but not a huge deal. Overall, LOVE!
Great app, welcoming community, communicative guides, BUT the app eats battery like crazy!! I haven't had any issues with my battery until I installed the app, tried force stopping it and putting it to sleep, the battery charged great, re-activated the app and my better is getting consumed faster than its charging, please fix this, thank you.
It's am amazing resource for finding support, but it has some serious tech issues especially for something you have to pay for. When you're trying to support someone it is really bad that you're trying to be there for someone and the app deletes your messages before they see them.
I keep coming back to Wisdo. The group and support is amazing! Been on there off and on since 2018. 🦋🌷
