I want to stick with this bank for my small business. But, it has got to give more. Customer service is not viable when you have a real issue (it's banking! You can't send an email and expect a reply in a few hours). I'm upping my review from 3 to 4 stars. They have added the ability to mail a check but mobile deposit still is not possible yet (you have to mail in checks). It's also frustrating that they are going to start charging $10 per month in August.
Great Concept for business banking. 2% APY on a business checking account is great. Interest is paid as agreed :) I have issues with funds being deposited to my account after customers paid via invoice.I have to contact customer service every time to get the funds to show in my account. Customer service is also very slow to respond and they don't answer all my questions. 3+days for payment to show up.This is the reason for the 4 Star rating. If they improve this & its a 5 star app and company.
Excellent business banking service. I used to use Square, QuickBooks, PayPal, all on top of my BofA account. Paying contractos is now a breeze and getting paid is even easier. And it's all in one place. One bank one app. Couldn't be happier.
They were perfect... then ... they announced That they Were going to start charging $1o.O0 a month because they were going Premium. Last I checked premium was a tier label fora membership or a Loyalty program. I did ot want 'premium" but they literally forced everyone by calling their app Premiums with no added services and or lack there of current services. Very disappointed....very
A mess. And I should have known better - the original logo they had was used elsewhere. Red Flag. They had to change it. The interface is odd, will show duplicate transactions, etc, dates not in order. Went to an ATM, nothing came out. ATM messed up, displayed an error, gave me error receipt. Never had that happen. I disputed this via the app. Never heard from them. Then they told me to contact ATM owner. ATM owner said card issuer (Wise) had to raise a dispute, however she was very competent, and said she could clearly see I never got my money - $500 - and that she'd reply promptly to the dispute in my favor. Said the ATM was old, she owned her mistake. Contacted Wise. They'll get right on it. HAHA! Lucky for me I know the laws - no letter issued to me, and a time limit. The umpteenth time of me contacting them, a day before I could not file a dispute, they filed a dispute. Got my money back. When I signed up it was 2% APY, no fees. Then 1.0%, then whatever it is now with $10 monthly fee I later agreed to. They were VERY prompt getting a hold of me to approve the $10 fee, did not forget that (like my dispute!). They were after me for that $10. I chalked all of this up to people inexperienced, etc. and felt like I was supporting some young folks, so I let all of this slide. Today I get notice that my account is being closed, my type of business - small! under 50k a year? Is that what they mean? No specifics. I'm not anything illicit or controversial, I sell books - is not wanted. I have days to figure something out. Lucky for me, I saw the red flags, listened this time, and had another account set up. These folks don't know what they are doing, and I am sure some of it is due to COVID's economic disruptions. But you can't trust them. There's no way I could get a new account, debit card, etc., in days, I was lucky.
It's a pain to get going, hard to set the card reader up, lengthy waits to get customer service, and forget depositing cash right now as you have to wire transfer it in ($3 fee to do this from my personal account at boa) not user friendly yet but not giving up hope.
App is buggy. Crashes. Needs a website to interact with when app doesn't work. Good banking, no fees, not even for rejected payments. Good interest rate.
My experience with Wise has been very seamless and easy. I am able to focus on what I need to and not trouble myself with the hoops and loops from a traditional bank.
Alright, I would highly recommend taking other reviews with a grain of salt! This is a startup with a great business idea, and they are trying. I admit their support is slow but when they get back to you, they are friendly and professional. I highly recommend giving it a shot.
My experience was inadequate!! I found this bank online same as BBVA, NBKC etc. Did my research (found only info about the CEO) decided to give them a try. After collecting my personal info (SSN etc) I didnt hear from them again. Contacted them for an update, they requested more personal info which I provided (No LinkedIn and FB) and then they were gone again. No contact no nothing till I contacted them again only to be told they cant open my acct (luckily I already opened with BBVA online)
This app/ account has been a very good choice for my new business. I have a card, I can make deposits and transfers. This account has been very reliable
Good but need better invoice handling. Took almost two days for approval. But app works great. When are you bringing remote check deposite? Waiting.
Wise looks great, but behind the branding is the worst banking experience and customer support I have ever know. They're policies, for an online bank, are as archaic and limiting as Bank of America or Wells Fargo and even more so. You'll be juggling cards and blocked at every turn. And be ready for some serious passive aggression (emojis and all) when you make a seemingly obvious and reasonable request from customer service (no phone number or email, at all). Incredible waste of my time.
Loving Wise Bank. App could use a few basic features though such as freezing/unfreezing debit card and resetting pin #
I started to sign up I filled out the information they wanted and it come to employment I.filled it in and the screen went blank and now I cant sign in or start over
Great app! I preferred the old green branding, but hey still a great and functional app
I downloaded the app but it won't open for me to set it up. I can't try it out if it won't even open.

Terrible tried login first time it saying incorrect number or password first time login in
Business discrimination or just cheap? Denied an account because of their underwriters for 2 different companies.(BBVA provides their deposit accounts) and concurrently approved by the same bank the same day for an Azlo account and by another bank that has 10x their net income? Or was it because of the large promotional offer that my company was trying to redeem? They may talk about providing a better business experience but they have their own idea of what a business should look like.

Why cant install
Wise only interfaces with Visa for transactions that you want to happen in less than 3 days, evidently. I was trying to stick it out and support them when they started tacking on a monthly fee, but it hasn't been an easy place to bank, making that monthly fee feel like more and more just a slap to the face, on top of their slow handling time.
