Absolutely terrible ever since they were purchased by Axos. The new app doesn't let you manage recurring transactions at all and neither does the new site. Most interactions on the new app just sends you to the old website, but the old website has had all management features removed. Also, they've pulled money from my account twice even though they told me that recurring transactions were disabled or after I've changed to a different date.
Loved for a long time, but now the app won't even open. I've been a customer since before Axos bought Wisebanyan, but for the first time in several years the app won't even open. 2 weeks with no way to view my account on mobile, and no sense to urgency to fix the problem. Pretty frustrating... If there wasn't such a hefty fee to move my accounts, I'd have already done it.
The app as mentioned by others is now unusable. When attempting to login via fingerprint it stays in a loading... screen and never logs in. The app doesn't allow for other ways to login. I had already sent an email to support with no response. Update: Yes I was on the latest release. Been using the app since 2016, never this issue. With the constant name changes it has caused uncertainty and is the reason I am currently closing my account.
This app is not working at all, shows wrong statistics and numbers. It is scary if this app is not reliable and causes so many issues, do you really feel comfortable to trust this bank your investments? Axos had more than one year and still no useful solution, shame on you! And investments are done mostly with a huge delay sometimes more than 10 days!
You would expect they would put effort to make this app functional, but nope. App no longer links correctly to my account and doesn't work on the web either. I've reached out to support several times and the only response is they'll forward to IT. No resolution!?! I'd recommend everyone to move to another investment company. If they can't make an effort, why should the customer?
Tried to create a portfolio 16 times after downloading. Stupid app crashed Everytime forcing me to start over every time. Great idea for an app. But with how often it crashes it's not worth downloading. I'll be deleting this app.
UPDATE: I called support and it worked this time. They sent a password reset link. I had to open it in a browser, NOT the new app. Support by email and phone was not helpful until today. Looks like they are finally getting on the same page.
Just barely better than the actual Axos Banking App, you'd think they'd have spent the time getting core functionalities working on the main app before prettying up this one, but what do I know? Really rethinking my choice of online only banks, forgot to factor in the usability of the app. Live and learn, I guess.
Fantastic picks for the standard funds. The app really makes it easy to understand the time value of your investments. However, I do wish they provided the specific assumptions for future balance projections.
I had to transfer my account out to a different service to withdraw money because at time of writing their trading system has been down for about a month. that's the most important thing they need to do and can't do it for a month. the app it's self is always misleading with numbers making you feel like you're getting more from your investments than you really are. they recently raised their fees and are not competitive anymore. I was a founding member and now I'm moving on to another service.
So.. all of a sudden not working on my phone ? That is unnecessary anxiety I don't need... Edit: if I could leave a negative 10 review I could. This people are awful. I wanted to close my account. I withdraw x amount than a month ago. But the funds have not transfered. Plus my account is now ( x-$500) and they are saying that the missing funds was a previous withdrawal. Where is my money axos. Customer service ask you to chat, then to call customer support, now to email tech support. Horrible
I did like it and recommend it. Now its glitching and I can't use the app. I've deleted and reinstalled. I've contacted the devloper. It's been about 2 weeks. I dont know what else I can do but move my money else where. * update its been a year new phone same problem still unresolved through axos STILL DONT HAVE MY MONEY TRASH
I wouldn't recommend this app or service anymore. Similar to other reviewers, I have been with them since the wise banyan days (so 5-6 years). The app sort of works but no new goals can be created on here or online. You can edit ones that already exist. I sent multiple emails, called, and left messages with no response. Axos bank will call me back but they are not affiliated and cannot help me. Unfortunately, I will be transferring my portfolio to another institution that works.
The app used to be great before it changed to AXOS. Now the login screen constantly reloads during typing credentials in and the desktop app gives you false messages that your credentials are wrong even though they are saved.
Just recently went to open the mobile app. Was able to input passcode but then the app started blinking and acting wonky and requesting i log in with user ID and password. Same thing is happening after performing an update.
No way to log out. Very difficult to determine daily earnings and losses due to slide at that will not allow enough space to get to end of slide. Unable to execute transfers on mobile phone; can transfer only on computer.
App works again, wish there was a way to see performance percentage based on short amount of time. Like how much percentage I grew last year or last month. Right now it only tells me how much percentage I grew total.
The app - after using it several weeks - now states I must upload documents to verify my identity. Sure, no problem. Except it doesn't tell me what documents need uploaded, nor does it let me do anything else with the app. So I have it auto investing and can't log in to manage or do anything about it.
No longer free. Got an email today that my account was going to be getting charged $1 a month from now on. Pretty sad that they don't provide a direct link in the email to close the account. I decided to go ahead and close it anyways. Will stick with one account and continue using Charles Schwab with index funds instead.
Full of bugs. Crashes every time I try to use it. If you haven't invested with them, DON'T START. Update: I already did email support, they basically said "thanks".
Looks like they're trying to convert everyone away from the phone app and towards the online version. Everything useful has been removed. The only progress you can chart is how much money is inside. Profits and losses are gone! Do the formulas work? No way to tell. Want to change your risk tolerance? Tough luck. Let's modify the sectors we're investing in. Oh wait, those are gone. Want to make predictions based on your options? Too bad. Used to be amazing, now it's a joke.
Edit: A newly pushed update resolved crashing on Android. I've been using this service since it's launch as WiseBanyan. It's a very slick, easy-to-use tool for managing your portfolio. I am overall impressed with the service, though the shift from free to paid is disappointing, if not entirely unexpected. However, my annual returns with Axos are more than triple market averages. It's easy to use and access online and via app, and provides simple planning tools to help you hit your goals.
