WISH-TV Weather

Way to many pop ups. Even has ads on the home screen that takes up most of the page then when you click on a different tab you have to close out a full page ad before you can see the page you clicked on. The old app is way better. Don't understand why you take something that isn't broke and mess with it! Downloaded the fox 59 app and its just like the old channel 8 app, works perfectly!

This is the new updated app. It does not work well at all and is difficult to navigate. Weather videos do not play most of the time. The Radar is wonky when you try to open it and adding layers only makes it worse. The previous version was much simpler and worked smoother. You could play the last several videos without issues. Don't waste your time with this app. I'd expect better from our local news source.

It wasn't broke, untill they "fixed" it. More often than not , the video forecast needs to be updated from a day or two ago. Apparentley no one is double checking this thing for functionality. Ever Thank You very little for the feee app that is as useless as the other local weather stations combined. If the old app were as useless as this one, I don't think anyone would notice. Seems some of us did notice. Now it's WishTV's turn to take notice.

I very much preferred the previous app. This one is sterile and hard to sort through.

This app sucks!!!!!!! It won't change to a different city or town when I travel, if it does it stays on the city for weeks at a time and will not go back to my home city. I uninstalled this app and now I am left with out a local weather source since all the other weather apps for the Indianapolis area are provided junk weather. Please go back to the old app it worked wonderful.

This is decent weather app and I use it often. But I am about to delete it from my phone because of the loud advertisements. I understand free apps will have ads. But their ads have started to include loud video ads. I often check the weather just before turning in for the evening and sometimes my wife is already asleep and I am trying to be quiet. If advertisers think blasting me with a loud video will get me to buy their products they couldn't be more wrong.

This app seems like it was the first attempt at making an app. Your stuck with whatever the developer wants you to see and that's it. The first version of the app was way more user friendly and you were able to adjust settings to your personal preferences, this app really has no settings menu. Obviously with all the negative responses to the current app and there have been no changes, nobody cares. Deleting the app now.

Awful. The old app was useful and easy to use. First, putting out a 2nd app with the same name as the first is confusing. Secondly, this new app was unusable with all the ads, and it seems as though every feature I used in the original was with eliminated or made unusable. I've uninstalled.

The new app has a constant ad space over the bottom half of the screen & their own over the top quarter! Harder than hell to navigate. Makes zero sense. As much as I prefer Randy & the rest of the team, this upgrade is garbage & I'll look elsewhere for my weather on the go.

This ap is much more than the previpus version. Hard to navigate and set preferences. I never get my alerts. Have to rely on orher weather apps for them.

So far, in my opinion, the previous app was way better and much more user friendly compared to the new app. I don't like the radar and radar options at all. Will likely switch to a different station's app as my main weather source once the old app is no longer active.

Hey WISH, ever hear the saying "If it ain't broke, DON'T FIX IT"? That's what you've done with this new weather app. Ads take up half the screen, then when you click on anything you have to close a FULL PAGE ad. Are you hurting for money that bad? Switched to the Fox 59 weather app instead. I couldn't give zero stars, so I had to give you one Star which is 🐂💩!!

These new apps you are putting out are absolutely garbage, very confusing to navigate menus, and full of pointless ads that pop up everytime you touch a button. I've uninstalled your app and installed fox59 weather authority, which is exactly like the original wish TV app. Good job selling out. Cant even watch your channel thanks to DishTV now, so goodby forever I guess. If I could give it zero Stars I would. ✌️

Loved the previous version. Not a fan of this new weather app. It's too busy and hard to read with all the stuff in the background. It also doesn't update the temp on the top of my home screen unless I go into the app and refresh it.

The old app kept the dashboard temperature up to date. Now I have to open the app any time I want to see the temperature. The page is also very cluttered and not as intuitive as the last app.

The old app was much better. This one is full of ads, the forecast never play and the maps slide. Also hard to determine the weeks weather since you have to scroll so much. Its pretty but not helpful.

Not sure if something got mixed up, but the temperature status does not update in the status bar. Have to constantly open the app to refresh, which is redundant when you're wanting an app for easy temperature or weather readings at a glance.

To many ads not straight and to the point. When I need moment to moment weather updates the outdoor activities need accurate clear and fast updates. The older version had more of the features that were needed.

The video ads are a problem. They should be muted with the OPTION of turning on the sound. Its terrible when its late & others are trying to sleep. If I simply want to check the radar I get a blaring video that wakes people up. Please fix this.

This is a horrible downgrade to the WISH weather app. I can't enter any locations, so it's pretty much worthless. Love the channel 8 weather team, but will have to go elsewhere for mobile weather.

Drains battery life, use of weather radar in the winter really bad graphics used (using grey as the indicator color is a really bad choice of contrast).. and traffic watch isn't working... this app needs a lot of work

Layout seems put together lackadaisically. No "future" radar feature? Bummer. I believe the previous app had this. Overall it all seems clunky and not too intuitive. Keep trying, you folks will get it. Randy please get on this!

This app sucks now! I had the old version at i could get the drop down menu temp and now it won't show up. The radar works hit or miss and it has like twice as many ads!

The older app was easier and more user friendly. I've had a heck of a time viewing the video forcast. Please fix this WAS my favorite weather app because it was accurate. But unfortunately I've had to use others since this was released. :(

The old app was much better. Watching the daily forecast seldom works, and does not update minute by minute. The older version was much easier to navigate.

The new app is hard to navigate, plus way too many ads. Why did they feel like they had to mess up a good thing? Fox 59 weather app is like the old version of Wish, so I guess I'll go with it.

This sucks even more than the news app. Took it off my phone after about 1/2 hour trying. Can't find various settings like the old one had. Don't waste your time.

Like the old one better. Didn't have to scroll forever just to see the 10 day. Where's the UV index? Some people use their app when they travel. I'll keep using the old app until it dies or download the Ch 13 app.

Almost useless after update, not intuitive, have to dig down for anything and transparency overlay is not user friendly, need to work on your UX.

I now see what another reviewer meant about loud advertisements. Was checking the app out, looking for a new weather app, and pulled up the radar. An ad popped up that startled me so badly that I almost wet myself. Needless to say I'm deleting the app.
